My friend hosted a 40th birthday party last weekend, Beautiful hotel to host events but be prepared to pay R10 for a Musk at the reception. Reception staff not friendly at all. I am definitely sure they making money out of the masks. Had we not have R10 for the musk, surely we were not going to be allowed in to attend our friends special day.

When you are away from home but still need to feel the homely warmth and eat well prepared meals Manhattan hotel, Pretoria is the best place to be. The services from security personnel, porters, front desk, waiters, waitress, maintenance, housekeeping, managers, drivers are all outstanding, something to always look forward to. l really can't get enough of this place,

The hotel is reasonable and very close to the Bus and train station which is conducive for people who commute with those transport. Rooms are big enough, the downfall is the lift system, number of lifts versus the hotel floors and rooms. The staicases are the alternative to the downfall and its a plus for the healtylifestyle enthusiasts The dining room is big enough with a standard menu and helpful waiters. The buffet food is standard and palatable. The hotel has a parking lot, it will help to ask where to park for the purpose of not to drive up and down looking for parking.

Set of conference facilities I don't like it. Restaurant area is nice with their braaid meet that is prepared in front of you. Generally their food is nice. Parking is a nightmare especially if you are driving a big car though they have parking areas outside the hotel but if you are carrying a laptop.

Had an interesting conference session at Manhattan Hotel. I enjoyed the meals and the service from their staff. I can recommend it to other people from within and outside the country.

A very decent 4 star hotel with a free shuttle that operates to the train station. There's also a bar and a buffet restaurant and other amenities including a spa, an exercise room, 8 conference rooms and a business center. The conference rooms a big enough and the staff is friendly and the food at the buffet restaurant is delicious.

Is a great place to be… we really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. We had our perfect perfect ninth year annivesary. The romantic package and the room we awesome. Thank you for making our stay an amazing one…

Excellent customer service and very helpful and friendly staff. Wifi is available. Save covered parking is available. Spacious rooms and beautiful decor. Customer gifts are placed in each room, cream as well as shampoo. Very nice and save environment. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you would like to stay over for a few days.

Their service is amazing. My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate his birthday, am still in awe. Their romantic package was exceptional and the deco in our room was really beautiful. The staff is friendly, the shuttle drivers are really nice. Room service on point. You will be seeing us very Soon again. Thank you.

Its like a home to me the staffs are helping you with smile and are very friendly, from the parking to reception to room service to maintance,, what a wonderful family. I have been here for more than a month now. I am definitely going to miss this place after the 11th of july. Just the lifts that are not perfect but its not a big deal for me. I love this place.

Overall awesome place once you are inside. Their buffet lunches are great too. Generally respectful staff and the facilities are adequate for any function. Easy to get to just after you pass the Pretoria prison coming in from Joburg on the N1/N14. A good place. BUT their parking leaves a lot to be desired. Why they didn't buy the garage property next to them and convert it to parking is beyond me.

This hotel deserves more stars! The entire Staff goes above and beyond, especially management. Just ask for Nice, him and his team made every effort to attend to our group. He really made our stay an awsome experience. It will be hard to stay any where else in Pretoria from now on!

I will start with the positives, the food & service is great! But the carpets need to be fixed and the overall design of the hotel is absolutely impractical and strange. Its not professional to have meeting rooms for business conferences on the same floors of private bedrooms, its distasteful walking past open bedroom doors and half naked residents in slippers as we proceed to a meeting or conference. Parking is also a nightmare plus the lifts were dodgy, the working ones skipped floors and the others were out of order…

Manhattan hotel its beautiful with friendly staff, the lunch buffet that was served at the restaurant was top notch.

Professional staff and clean facilities, but very noisy at times, either from the roads or inconsiderate guests. Maybe rules about appropriate noise levels need to be shared at book in. Across the road there is a caltex where taxis stand with loud music that you can hear in the conference facilities. Services are well organised and staff are always willing to help.

Parking not that amazing, very small and limited. No street parking available. Was there for conferencing which was okay. The food selection at the lunch buffet was great, even the tea time selections were great… only problem do not eat their muffins… don't know if its always like that or a once off but the muffins were horrible.

Good host these people are… clients are not just numbers but people that are taken care of. I love the atmosphere from the guards outside to the reception personnel, even the cleaners and maintenance… It's a good place that represents being an African well well.

This is a good place to be. The has never a degrading in this hotel since ever I know this place as far as the nineties. Food, rooms, hospitality, cleanness, security, you name them. Oh gosh it is manific.

Food enjoyable & good, humble & professional staff. It's a pity we could not get buffet as the hotel was not catering for that as there were no clients at this time of the year. We will go back mid January as their buffet is worth the wait.

This Hotel has a good vibe. Once you enter it, it takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD and you feel that you are somewhere else. The service and interior is also well done.

I've been coming to the Bronx Bar for the past three years and the service has never been a disappointment. The bar man — Sibusiso, is friendly, patient and has the most attractive personality. And oh, the entire hotel smells like heaven. I would definitely recommend it to every person needing a place to lodge or unwind.

The service is emaculate. Their staff is friendly, the food is really good and most of all you will never be bored with their daily performances at the bar to decrease those stress levels after work. I enjoyed my stay.

I was only there for a farewell lunchen. But from the Parking lot up to the Restaurant, the service was so welcoming!
The staff really laud a beautifull table especially for me and the group in my favourite colours. Another nice surprise. The rest of the afternoon was excellent, the Buffet was superb, the staff friendly en efficient. I will most certainly recommend the Manhattan to friends!

The buffet at the main restaurant is very nice — huge selection of food. Dessert not the best, but enjoyable nevertheless.

Security and front desk staff need hospitality training. Not really " Redefining the art of hospitality" as per motto. Arrived at 14:00, my room not ready. Lift doesn't go to 5th floor, alternate one not level with the ground. My room reeks of cleaning chemicals. No two pin point to charge laptop & cellphone. Waited an hour for a adapter. Unimpressed.

The service at this hotel is wonderful, their staff are well trained. The only thing I didn't like was the noise from room but nonetheless I have a lovely time here. I can't forget the food of course.

A bit noisy if your room faces the main road, however, the friendly staff is certainly a plus. Reliable and efficient shuttle service gets you to and from the airport. The restaurant has a large variety of tasty foods in their buffet. Breakfast is certainly the best I have experienced in Pretoria.

The food at the Manhattan is very good, they have a very wide variety of meats, especially at dinner. Their staff is moderately helpful, a few years back they were the friendliest around. They also offer a free shuttle service to certain places which is a big plus. The neighbourhood is very noisy and if you are on floors one to three and on the street side sleep is difficult. Some of the guests can also be rowdy. The decor in the rooms is very dark, but the rooms are quite clean.

What a great hotel! The facilities are awesome, the staff extremely helpful and the food is excellent! It feels a lot closer to a 4 star hotel to me. The only thing is that the area is a let down. Its great that its barely 5 minutes from the Gautrain station, but its surrounded by taxi ranks and hawkers. The streets are full of potholes and litter. I really did not feel safe walking from the station to the hotel, and that was in broad daylight. Parking is also a bit of an issue… But overall I'd still recommend it. This is a classic case of local government NOT creating an environment conducive to private business to thrive in. If they did, they clean up the surrounding area…

Lovely staff, always willing to help or come to your beck and call anytime of the day or night. Always neat and tidy. Such a lovely stay made lots of friends. The food was delicious, the bartenders friendly and fun. They were even willing to take us out at 5am on a Saturday morning to our exam venue. They wished us luck and made sure we arrived on time. Hospitality at its best.
