We stayed at MJ Hotel very recently. Its design was a bit outdated as compared with other boutique/business hotels. It is accessible from Ayala Center and main road thats why hailing a cab was quick. The rooms we got are clean and spacious, no problem with air conditioning.
Everyone from the guard to concierge to waiters at the cafe were pleasant and helpful.
My only not-so — pleasant experience was the breakfast buffet. Food wasnt great at all. Yes the selection was more than enough but they all tasted bland. Why arent you serving danggit & chorizo — — they are Cebu's best sellers and yet you dont even promote them.

Garbage cannot ever be improved and that's exactly what that demon hotel is. Pure garbage.

I had a great experience MJ Hotel & suites head chef breakfast meal was very good. The employees was awesome! And very courteous. Will visit again.

Staying in MJ Hotel during sinulog is one of the moments my family is looking forward to every year, its proximity to Ayala Center, friendly staff, it feels like home! Comfy bed, spacious rooms, I strongly recommend it to my friends!

Only attended the training held there. Function room are small are good for few attendees.

Besides the very warmed welcome of the staffs. This hotel is clean and very silent place enough to have a good rest. My daughter and I stayed in a very short time yet its so satisfying. I can highly recommend if you are in Cebu, also a walking distance to some big malls and shopping places. See you next time MJ hotel and lovely staffs.

We didn’t have a great stay here. We woke up at 10am to loud construction noises. We were told they would continue until 5pm. To be honest I don’t think a hotel should be open to the public when they have construction work going on in the hotel. The staff offered no compensation when we complained about this. The hotel is also old but fairly clean.

Satisfied! breakfast is soooo delicious… nabusog ko lami ang humba, scrambled egg, sikwati, daghan ug fruits unya nice ug friendly ang mga staff. Big iyahang room unya naay hot and cold shower… Kusog ang Wi-Fi.

Very friendly staff. Good rooms to be had. Suites are excellent. Close to Ayala Mall. Suites are $50. Rooms $34. Breakfast is included. Breakfast is ok. I loved the staff.

If you want the best rooms, they're on the higher floors. Regular ones only have one pillow per bed. Free breakfast is buffet.

Amazing spacious hotel with a very lovely and friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay here even for just 1 night. Its only 3-5 min walk away from Ayala Mall. I will surely recommend to my friends and come back again.

Room is dusty and felt my allergies coming out my stay. They finished cleaning my room just when I was about to enter the room. Not responsive online before my visit. Did not have a refrigerator which was not indicated on their page.

Room was good size, clean, with a nice FIRM king size bed. Our room was a corner unit and away from the elevator. The lack of noise and great mattress made for a pleasant nights rest. There is a small restaurant that is mostly a buffet style all you can eat. The selection of foods was heavily weighted to Asian food, I believe Korean? The non-buffet menu was very limited. Price of menu items and the buffet seemed a bit excessive.

Only one super thin pillow per bed. Will not give you another if you won't request for one. Free breakfast is horrible! Ala carte food is horrible. The staff is very polite and friendly thou.

Best hotel ever! The staff is very courteous and professional. They consistently go above and beyond with service. The room was excellent. I will be staying here again! :)

The hotel offerings are as basic as you could get.

Stayed at Mandarin, stayed at Park Lane but this place absolutely % better. Better Service, better value and bigger rooms. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Cebu.

Location was superb. It is really near ayala center cebu. Also, they have very lovely rooms, friendly and very accommodating staff, delicious food and the best is that its at a very affordable price Certainly the comfort you want at the price you love.

Nice, full service hotel located near Ayala Mall. The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't bother with the travel websites though, with this hotel you will probably get the best rate at the door.

It's a perfect place to stay if you just need a clean cold place to stay in the middle of the city.

MJ hotel is located within ayala with green scenery. I commend the quality service that the hotel staffs had shown during my almost one week stay per visit. With the great ambience and scenery outside, I will put this on top of my list among the hotels within the heart of metro cebu! Highly recommended! 'Til next time MJ hotel! :)

The hotel is good and located near to Ayala Center Cebu. Staff are accommodating and there breakfast is quite good. Rooms are just spacious enough. But our check in was quite delayed. We arrive around 2:15 in the afternoon and was a bit shocked that the room was not yet available. So we waited for like 15-20mins.
