Well worth the money. Spacious rooms with clean comfortable beds. AC worked well. Was a little dark but that was ok. Great for sleeping. Very quiet. Close to lots of great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

It's old and yes a little darker than most hotels but for the price you can't beat it. Needs new carpeting in the halls but, regarding the smell like stated in other reviews, it does not stink. Also the room was super spacious, free breakfast was really good and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It's old fashioned and some of the fixings in the bathroom and shower seem lose. The beds were very comfortable and clean but the bedding seems old and had a hole or two. If your looking for luxury, not the place for you but if your looking for safe, convenient location and clean on an affordable price than its fine.

Excellent room and location.

A very dirty and smelly place. Very disappointed. I can’t understand how hotewire can promote this as a 4 start hotel. Management could do a lot if they decide to improve this place. It has potential. I never will recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel in the heart of Panama city. Lots of restaurants around. It was walking distance or a short taxi (or uber) ride to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large (We had a 2 floor room with 2 bathrooms) and very reasonably priced. Glad we chose this one. We will stay there the next time we're in Panama.

Quaint hotel in location that is accessible to many restaurants. Very nice for the price. Clean with spacious rooms, quality pillows and sheets. For us, took cash only as the card reader was down.

Good hotel in a good location — The hotel is centrally located and the staff was helpful. I was allowed to check in 2 hours early and the guy working at night was really good and had a lot of information. My room was large and pretty quiet, the bed was really comfortable, and there were good cable channels. A few negatives — The room description listed a washer/dryer and bathrobes. I didn't have either. The Wi-Fi is open (not secure). Also, the hotel seems a little old. Overall my stay was good.

Stayed for 4 nights after originally booking 2! Really good location — lots of tasty restaurants within walking distance. Very easy and cheap to get a taxi/uber to any other places you want to visit. The staff here are all very friendly and polite. Maid service every day was great. Our room was huge, inc. A seating area and large bathroom. Nice & quiet at night. Bed was super comfy. Good a/c. Enjoyed the English film channels on the TV. Wi-Fi worked well. I thought the breakfast was good — fresh juice, fresh fruit, selection of breads and cereals plus some hot offerings each day — plenty of choice — I enjoyed the pancakes one day. You also get a coffee maker in your room, plus a fridge. The shower could have been a bit hotter and more powerful, and there was no view, but apart from that, no complaints! All in all, I thought it was excellent value and enjoyed my stay here. Thank you.

Chic ambience. The rooms were very nice.

We stayed in junior suite, had 2 queen beds, sitting area with couch and chair. Loved the room. Staff was very nice and helpful. We were very happy with location also.

It has changed a lot the service, the hotel is beautiful because I know it since the year 2005, this very neglected.

The Wifi signal did not reach the room, should improve this aspect. The breakfast excellent, the rooms very comfortable.

I liked the rustic room which was very large and comfortable and quiet. The staff was pleasant and helped with all my various questions. Yes the interior is a bit dated but a quick refresher and it will be perfect no complaints what so ever.

This hotel was wonderful had the Jr Suite it was very large had everything we needed, breakfast was included and it was great. Staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean. We should have stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel great value for the money. Thank you.

Very unfriendly receptionist. Makes you feel 100% unwelcome. Breakfast is average but staff is very friendly. Room is old, worn, smells… No value for money. Are the so positive feedbacks neutral and real? I doubt.

Greeted with orange juice in a champagne glass! The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this place.

The room I booked was not available when I got there because they gave it to someone else even though I had already paid. I got in at 11pm and was tired, yet it took over an hour to resolve the issue. It was not at all somewhere I would return to.
