Fantastic location with amazing infinity pool and private beach. Great food&beverage. The real stars however are the wonderful staff who will do everything to make sure you will have a memorable stay. Crowne Plaza but Intercontinental level service. One of my favorite hotels in the world! 👏👏👏

What a lovely hotel we are staying in room 309 which has the most amazing view of the sea and Muscat. This was a gift to us from great friends who have booked us a two night stay. We will definitely be back as the service is impeccable and nothing is too much trouble. We are having an amazing break.

Best place to stay Muscat. Probably because of sea facing rooms and centrally located in qurum.

The hotel after an extensive renovation is now open again. The look is substantially improved and other amenities like an additional infinity pool have been added. It is definitely value for money providing 5 star comforts for a 4 star price.

Best hotel in the Nizwa area. Super-friendly staff. Always fully booked on Thursday, because on Friday there is always the goat market in Nizwa (big tourist attraction).

It’s a nice hotel and is in a good location visually however the roads outside are frequently gridlocked and it can take 25 mins to get 1 mile away. Its definitely dated and in some areas could do with a revamp/facelift. Dukes bar serves a good range of drinks and the pool area is quite small but adequate. Once the new kids on the block arrive in Muscat, Crown Plaza will struggle to keep its head above the water, but this has already been addressed with the new Crown Plaza near the airport.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. You will find all what you need if not more. The morning view. Direct beach access. The pool. Food. Friendly staff. It’s in the center of the city with easy access to taxis, muscat local souq and the opera. There are also sports activities like a tennis court if that’s your thing. Whenever I visit Muscat, I won’t think twice before coming here again.

A very special hotel with a private beach and nice pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is breezy and fresh. There are Italian, Iranian, International restaurants and other cafes or bars however all food even the room service food are so expensive. The seafood buffet on Thursday and Friday night is one of the best I have ever taste but it is quite expensive 29 OMR per person ~ 75$. I was lucky as everybody commented before me in most websites to have a very nice experience. The most observed negative comment where about the increased prices which is a misunderstand by guests of the excluded 17.4% tax. Nevertheless, the hotel need more refurbishments and to redesign and increase the pool area with a little helpful shades to avoid the sun rays. The good news that in few weeks the hotel will be closed till August to occupy our needs so we can return back with a bigger smile next time.

Very nice hotel with great ambiance. Large garden area with 3 different places to eat. Very friendly staff and great service. The breakfast buffet is large and offers something for every Geschmsck. Alcohol is served. For cigar lovers There is a very small assortment of cigars. Since it is not used often, these are not maintained and you have to find with luck one that is still usable. The best way to buy at the duty Free airport is Muscat.

The breakfast was delicious and with a very large selection. Juices and smoothies, for example, were freshly made. Beach was clean, small but enough lying for everyone.

It's a big and beautiful 5 star hotel. With full facilities big swimming pool n other games. Nice tossed time with family. Buffet is 17 omr. Big meeting halls. Near seashore.

The hotel is very good, right on the beach, for this but a point deduction, at low tide you can not swim at all. But that was also the only negative point. Staff always eager and very friendly. Breakfast for every thing, very varied. It must be borne in mind that the hotel is within the flight path for flights to Muscat. For this you can see the hotel before landing already:-), I personally did not find annoying. The pool area is large enough, beach very fine sand. Parking spaces for cars are plentiful and many guests come by car. Road connections are excellent in all directions. To the airport about 25 minutes. To Muscat Old town about 15 minutes.

Excellent service, beautiful views. But most of all, amazing food. Very good choice at breakfast buffet, but what really impressed me was the dinner at Italian restaurant Come Prima. It's January pasta festival right now and the roasted pumpkin cappellacci with pear I ordered was absolutely divine! I'd have another portion In a heartbeat. In addition, veal Milanese is done perfectly, meat is tender and breading is just the right amount of crispy. One of the most memorable meals in a long while, compliments to the chef.

The hotel with the best position and view in Muscat. Perched on top of a cliff overlooking it's own private beach and the shoreline stretching into the distance. Love it.

5 star experience from a 4 star hotel. The view is beyond compare here — make sure you bag yourself a sea view. Luckily we were upgraded when we arrived and got one complimentarily. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are 3 restaurants on site, one English, one Persian, and one Italian, and also an outside bar. There are enough deck chairs for the clientele to relax on, and the two pools are cleaned nightly. The gym is fully equipped and great to work out in, usually it‘s pretty empty. One can also use tennis courts or squash courts freely. Another advantage to this hotel is the private beach they have, which no-one else can access. It leads straight to the Gulf of Oman with a view of the Muscat coastline. I’m very glad we chose this hotel and will be staying here again.

Room is large, bright … with all needs, power, USB charging, TV, air-con …
Pool area is spacious, clean, never any shortage of sun loungers.

Small private beach … but again while we we there, always sun loungers. Plenty of restuarant choices, great food … and Drakes bar has great view in the evening.

Great place for a romantic candle lit dinner. We went to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Little pricy, but its worth the ambience and service. We tried the Iranian themed restaurant. Food is average. But as I told, its great for special and intimate occasions.

Different kinds of restaurants & gym is available in addition to elite & executive lounge. The hotel decoration is modern & classic with a touch of traditions. Staff are remarkably polite & helpful (Talal from room service was the best) Swimming pools & beach had a noticeable cleansing & maintenance. The hotel offers good tours for muscat either for privet or groups. Sufficient warning signs were fixed in many places. Staying in Crowne Plaza Muscat is an experience to be repeated for sure. The hotel nice clean and located in a nice place do not go in the month of Ramadan because even in hotels zero alcohol except you do bring it in the room with a little high prices.

Good hotel on the cliff tops. Close to the Centre of Muscat. Has good sports facilities (tennis and squash courts).

Popular place for western expats. The restaurant has pork on the menu which will definitely appeal to anyone who has had enough of fast food. Rooms are adequate and most have a view. There are tennis courts and a swimming pool as well as a more casual pool side bar for snacks. Steep trek down the cliff to the private beach.

Shiraz Restaurant is located in the Crowne Plaza hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the tables overlooking the sea will make sure you have a special evening. It's speciality oven bread cooked before you is a delight. The taster menu is especially recommended.
