Great place for outdoor activities, and also to spend a couple of days with children… stayed here already twice… very nice and friendly staff, great owner, thank you Thomas … definitely come back more than once.

Great little campsite with beautiful views over the fjord. Nice field with many tents, no room for large campers. The guy who welcomed us was super friendly and helpful. Best host in Norway so far. We also did the 3 hour kayaking tour with a very knowledgeable Argentinian tour guide. Superb stay in Geiranger.

Great view and very friendly staff. Sanitaries are clean but small, so it is kinda crowded in high season. Great starting point for hikes to th mountain and into the town.

Excellent location at the water. Very good service at reception. Facilities are limited in size but clean (2 showers and 2 toilets for each gender; one cooking and dishing room), however as the site is small this is not an issue. Bit pricy for a tent, but hey this is a top notch location with spectacular view.

Great cabins at a good price away from the cruise crowds. It's a little way out of town but that's no problems of you have a car. Great, friendly service. One our favourite stops.

Small and beautiful camping site directly at the fjord. The guys at the reception are really friendly and gave us really good advice on hiking and other activities in the area. They also have motorboats and kanus for rent. Highly recommended.

Grande Hytteutleige is one of the most scenic lodging and camping sites located right at the Geiranger Fjord, with an easy access by public or private transportation. You could rent small boats and Kayaks, even with an instructor. If you are traveling with your family then it is worth knowing that the toilets and showers are shared and located around 50m from Camping site and 20 min form cottages.

Very nice welcome. The view of the fjord from the chalet is superb. Possibility to rent canoes for a walk on the fjord.

Ideal camping to look at the Geiranger fjord. We stayed at the campsite for 2 days at the beginning of September 2017. Access path is very steep. Pitch we were allowed to choose. Up to the village of Geiranger about 20 minutes walk. At the camping there is a jetty that can also be used for fishing. There is also a barbecue area right on the water's edge.
Sanitary facility very clean, kitchen something small but OK, staff at the reception very friendly. From the square also good view of Geiranger and also of the cruise ships passing directly in front of it.

Fantastic place to stay for a break with the Fjord at your front door and lots of friendly locals, staff and travellers to meet.

A fantastic place to stay, with great views of the Geirangerfjord. Prices were reasonable compared to other places in Noway, and the fit and finish of the cottage was extremely high. Everything was modern and clean. We will be coming back to stay here again! Cottage 14 probably has the best views, if you have a choice!

Environment is stunning… I can't believe it. It is the most beautiful place to experience.

The location is obviously great. The lady at the reception was very nice. We rented a cabin for 4. It was OK for 2 but would be very crowded with 4 people inside. Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Be aware that you rent a cabin with a cooking place (outside) but absolutely not kitchen equipment. You have to rent it! 50 NOK for plates, pots and glasses when it's free in any other camping we've been to before. Bathroom was not spotless but not dirty either, OK I guess. Expensive compared to other campings in Norway.

"Grande Hytteutleige og Camping is the best camping site for cruise ship lovers. The up to 300-Meter-long ships go in and out here like the shopping cart in front of Aldi. It happens that up to 4 of these Riesenkreuzer at the same time, are moored. You get the ships here special close, as it is about 640 meters one of the narrowest Places in this Fjord. Each of the matters, you should first time to go to the toilet! The toilet house is always a list of all of the expected ships. Warm-up time, Name, length, everything that you should want to know. Also, I have to say, that you in this Fjord, this is the only place in the German satellite television can get. Can confirm, I don't, since I'm in Norway never a TV would take. The entire system is maintained. Shower and toilets are clean and work idly.

Great secluded campsite with a fantastic view of the Fjord. The toilet facilities are few and very tight when the place is full, it can already times to wait for some time.
