Hole Hytter Hotel

Great place to stay a few nights and discover the beautiful Geiranger fjord. Hiking paths start directly here.

The accommodation was fine, clean and basic, with a small balcony overlooking the view, convenient to Geiranger. I paid for linens online ahead of time. When we checked in, they confirmed that we wanted linens, but never gave them to us. We got into our room past 9pm, so only realized they never left the linens until after the office was closed. I went back to the cabin office in the morning to let them know that we never got our linens. They gave us cash back, but unknowingly to me, gave it to me in the old Norwegian currency, which I later discovered was no longer legal tender. I tried to use the money they gave me in a bakery near the ferry embarking, but was refused and told that "they shouldn't have given that to you. " I tried using the cash on the ferry but was told the same thing and was asked who gave this to me, this time with an eye roll and a comment "They should not have given this to you. " Clearly, the people at the Hole Cabin Rental should have known better. The deadline for moving to the new currency was known by everyone in town. I am giving Hole Cabin Rental a 1 star review because they not only failed to make sure we had our linens, but when they gave us our money back, they gave us cash that was worthless that they clearly knew was worthless. I wouldn't go back and recommend that you don't stay there either.

I feel that they took advantage of us given that we are hapless tourists. This, in my book, is a big negative. I wouldn't go back and recommend that you don't stay there either.

We absolutely loved our stay! The view was amazing.

The cabin was nice and new. I'm just not found of the double decker beds.

Beautiful views and cabins are reasonably priced. Just be warned they don't come with towels. That was a little surprising to us. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Cabin with wonderfull view over Geiranger Fjord. Friendly staff at the rezeption! Free Wi-Fi and everthing in the cabin you need for a few days staying and relaxing.

Cabin with a fantastic view of the fjord. There's just a reception and free Wi-Fi. That's all there is, but the stunning view while having a drink on the terrace in front of your cabin makes it worthwhile! Clean and roomy cabin.

The location was stunningly beautiful with a view of the Geiranger fjord just outside the window. We were very satisfied with everything from the well equipped kitchen area to the bathroom and we slept like logs! The staff were really helpful with information for our continuing journey o the coast of Norway and we also got help finding other living arrangements elsewhere.
