The restaurant was absolutely amazing! Meals were 10/10 superb, you have to visit for a fantastic experience.

Went there for dinner last night and stayed the night. The food was amazing and highly recommended to anyone wanting exquisite food.

Amazing food and service. Will definitely come back. Encouraging our local Inerahi community to support local businesses.

My partner and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Flames. Atmosphere could use with a spruce up and it was sucky that they didn't have cocktails on offer BUT they made up for it with the entrees and mains. Fish was perfect and the squid salad reminded me of flavors from Vietnam. Highly recommend paying them a visit.

Took my husband to Flames last week for his birthday/retirement dinner at Flames. Excellent food, very attentive staff. Great night out.

The past 6 nights we had an amazing stay at the Comfort Hotel Flames in Whangarei. Our room was spacious and very clean and the view was amazing. The gardens were very pretty en well maintained and unfortunately because of the weather we didn’t used the swimming pool but it looked very attractive. During our stay the outside lava bar was closed but I can imagine that it is a nice place to chill during summer. The hotel also offers a place you can do you laundry for a small contribution. If you visit this hotel don’t forget to dine in the restaurant. The food was really amazing, you don’t want to mis it! We dined in the restaurant for 3 nights and had breakfast once and all the dishes were excellent, very tasty! The hostesses were very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot for this great experience!

Was there at the Resto. Much better than 2 years ago. More and better selection of food. Service has also improved.

I had my 30th Birthday here.
Family stayed and all loved the spacious clean rooms.
The pizzas and nibbles were a hit with all my guests and the staff were very friendly and polite.
They had no issue relocating everything to a different part of the premises for me due to weather at the last minute. Highly recommended.

4 of us had a beautiful 3 course meal here last week, very well priced and the service was excellent. Thank you.

Had friends booked in for one night a few weeks ago… they were really impressed with the accommodation… it was excellent & less expensive than other places they'd stayed at in Bay of Islands, Waitangi etc. But unfortunately the meal at the Flames that night was disappointing… several menu offerings were not available and my natural oysters were warm with no lemon or nice dipping sauce, we were looking forward to pavlova… that was off as well! Maybe it was an off night but should have been better in comparison to the excellent accommodation.
I'm only giving this review as I am an Onerahi local and like to recommend this Restaurant to tourists and visitors to Onerahi?

My husband an I hosted a convention in whangarei for our classic car club we all stayed at flames an used the conference room for the 3 nights that we were there. We couldn't have asked for better than everything we received at flames. Fabulous service, food, facilities, safe and secure parking for all of the cars too. I would highly recommend flames for any occasion. Thanks so much.

Well where do I start, it has been way to many years since I last dined in a restaurant that ticked every single box from start to finish, the waiters stole the show tonight and made out visit entertaining and elegant, I would have to say this has to be on par with two other restaurants that can do it all! Absolutely had me wowed and hats of chef not only did you cook my seafood to absolute class but it was orgasmic in my mouth! I would highly recommend this restaurant And A+++ if anyone whom sees this please like and share the Facebook.
