It's okay. It's cheap so expect something that hasn't changed since the 80s? 70s even? Great for a big group wanting to crash at post-event, I. E. Only needing the bed. Staff friendly and clean little units.

Great little place to get your head down for a few nights. Cabins are clean, bright, roomy and serviced daily with a decent kitchen area including the largest microwave I’ve ever seen, twin burner hob cutlery etc. Hot water gets real hot. Quiet scenic considering it’s right next to highway 1, as the grounds have loads of grass, hills and big pine trees. Does have mosquitoes however. The owner is a good guy, friendly and accommodating and a good source of local information. Even saved us after the local taxi screwed us over. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Great end to our holiday.

Very very dated room, one can smell the age, unless you like it 'Historic'. Internet connection is very poor and that is something I cannot do without on a business trip! Hopefully you are an early riser as SH1 runs right past the motel and like it or not you will be awake at 5 am due to lack of double glazing. The TV is not much bigger than a laptop screen and not all channels are clear. For what is on offer tye $90 a night is still too much. I would not recommend to stay for an extended period, the odd day is fine. One positive I need to add is that the staff is very friendly and helpful, and my room was very clean and tidy.

Decor outdated, don't use the poolif you intend on having fun in the water. Rules of the pool area, that are not explained on arrival; No Diving, No Bombing, No Splashing, No fun. Otherwise the lady manager will come out and tell you to BUGGER OFF.

Staff were very friendly, and the price was very cheap ($150 for a unit that would sleep up to NINE people), but this is a very old motel, getting pretty run down now. Despite that, it was impeccably clean and tidy, was pretty quiet when we stayed, milk, coffee, tea etc. Were provided. It's cheap and cheerful would be my summary. I would definitely stay again if I needed a cheap place to crash.

Nice rooms with private bathroom and kitchen and very clean I can only recommend.

We had a week at Casa Blanca. Excellent staff who excelled in their duties. A great place to stay and very handy for town. Immaculately clean, it could not be faulted and extremely helpful owners. We would definitely return.

I thought the service we got was really good. The pool was nice to cool off in. Didn't use the trampoline due to weather. It did look like fun. It was clean around the motel and I enjoyed my stay there.

Very run down untidy, I refused to stay their! Motellier was extremely rude when I said I wasnt happy with the state if it and told me to leave and not come back… HAPPILY!

Will never stay there again. Awake at 11.30pm because police were dropping off a trouble maker. Definately not what you want to see when you are travelling especially when you have children with you. Apparently this is quite common for this place. Owner said we should expect to see the police on a daily basis. Some visitors have also walked out with tv's and god knows what else. Did not get a good nights sleep after this occuring. This establishment should probably be closed down as most things were broken in our room and the smell was disgusting. Not to mention the amount of rubbish laying around the place. Never again. Doesnt even deserve 1 star.

Motel Rooms were very basic with outdated furniture. Spa pool was dirty & smelt gross. Hosts foyer was dirty & not welcoming. Hosts were quite rude & obsessed over people jumping in the pool. Website says free view available but couldnt get all channels. Wouldn't stay here again.

Central location, immaculate rooms, very spacious, 80s decor. Would definitely return if I find myself in NZ again!

Highly recommended. We booked this motel as we had no other option as everything else was booked. We stayed here for a night in a family 3 bed room and were quite happy with the stay. Nice comfortable rooms, hygienic, enough cutlery, family friendly close to town. Definitely worth the 200 dollars we paid for it as a group of 9.

Such nice people. I think they may be new. Clean but getting worn (however it looks like they are trying to sort that). Fantastic outdoor pool — big and deep. Shame the spa was cold (check this off your want a spa when booking). It was cold the two nights we were there. They did give me a discount to counter the disappointment.
