This was a good hotel in many respects, but there are some really big flaws. Pros: — Great location, just off the main touristy areas. — Newly decorated and tastefully as well. — Wifi speed is fast. — Showers are powerful and hot. Cons: — Unfortunately, there are basement rooms, without natural light and ventilation. Super depressing if you're staying for more than one night — The soundproofing is not good. You can hear others opening their doors, walking around, and running the shower. — No on-site cafe/restaurant. There is a small communal table, but it is also used as an office and check-in area. These are dealbreakers for me, especially if paying £250+ per night.

I honestly couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I booked 3 rooms for a group of 10 to celebrate my 40th birthday. I asked a lot of mundane questions before our arrival, all were answered within minutes. Nothing was too much for them. On arrival we were greeted so warmly, as if they knew us. I also received balloons, a bottle of fizz, thoughtful birthday note and sweet treats. The location of the hotel is perfect. Train from the airport to centraal was 15 minutes then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We got to everywhere we planned within half an hour on a tram or ferry.
The rooms were modern and very clean. Beds were very comfortable, shower amazingly refreshing after a night out. I personally stayed in the wine cellar which is (not surprisingly) in the cellar, the lack of windows wasn't an issue because of the clever lighting. The one thing I will say is the room needs more mirrors, there was only one which was in the bathroom so not ideal for 4 women. The bowl of sweets in reception are far too tempting but a great idea!

This hotel was fantastic. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was far enough out of the way to be quiet at night but close enough to be in the action. There is also a handy bike rental beside the hotel. The rooms are well styled and trendy, with each one having a fun but classy theme ex. 'The Laundry room'. We were touring around Europe for a couple of weeks and this was the most comfortable mattress we had the whole trip. The room had nice syncing and tech features, along with a tablet to use. My only suggestion would be more hooks in bathroom and some in the main room to hang coats :) It was a bit pricey, but worth it if you have the extra $.
