Had a fabulous two night stay here. The reception staff were particularly helpful as we had bicycles to store. Modern rooms and a really powerful shower. Would definitely come back.

Good hotel. Nice staff. Best breakfast. Vegetarian option is not there but still bread and butter is good as well cereal fruit juice are very good. Rooms are goid. Shower is nice. But water coming out from bathroom. For family I recommend this hotel.

Cute and stylish hotel. Beautiful rooms with glas wall between the sink and the bed. Great service and delicious breakfast. There is a rain shower in the room which is lovely. I would only say that the bed is too soft to my taste. I highly recommend you staying here.

Perfect 3 nights stay. Ideally located in the Town (near Amsterdam Centraal but not in a too crowded place). Bed is awesome, and as a tall guy (1m91) I felt confortable in the room/shower — which is very nice by the way. Special mention for the cleanness of the room and the super efficient room cleaning service. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely modern hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. What makes it special is the service. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. I'm really impressed and I will stay here again every time I visit. The rooms are compact, but surprisingly quiet, and the beds are supper comfy. But all credit to some of the best hotel service I've ever had!

Unfortunately, my stay at INK Hotel was overshadowed by the mysterious disappearance of two of my jackets I managed to leave behind in the closet in my room. Upon notifying the hotel of the forgotten items, they confirmed that nobody had stayed in the room after our departure and the jackets were nowhere to be found. My only possible conclusion to this was that someone from the hotel was in possession of the jackets. After mailing back and forth for a while with the “Guest Experience Prospect”, “Ass. Front Office Manager” took over and conveniently changed the story to there actually having been guests staying in the room. Reading between the lines here they were claiming that the new guests took them or that I was simply lying about having left the jackets behind. Ultimately hotels aren’t responsible for their guest’s belongings, but still, one should expect that forgotten items are taken care of, staying at a hotel like INK and not simply just vanish. This was definitely my last visit to this hotel.

Came here for cocktails and they were amazing. All drinks are designed in house and utterly delicious. Bar staff are knowledgeable and friendly, no pretentiousness. Best cocktails in Amsterdam.

Great room, very comfortable bedding, but shower room in the room without privacy. Missed. Very good bar and breakfast.

Great location just few steps from dam square. If you are in the neighborhood I really recommend to come and have s drink at Pressroom by INK hotel. The venue is beautiful and stylish. The staff is friendly and highly professional!

The staff are very friendly and helpful.
We were in one of the suites of the hotel.
Under the roofs with the exposed beams, it is a suite typed loft I would say, with the two rooms that are not closed one on the other, but simply separated by a part of the bathroom open on the room.
The bathroom is open with a bathtub, shower and toilet.
A second toilet and in its extension a small dressing in the living room where there is a table for lunch and two sofas and a large dresser that makes the length of the room.
I still regret several things.
There is nothing in the bathroom to pose towel and bathrobe.
I do not understand that today and with a hotel so recent that the soundproofing is not better with the outside and especially that we still hear as much air conditioning.
Finally, I do not understand that one does not manage to have a completely black room, that there is no shutter, only curtains obscuring. And especially all its device LEDs such as TV or air-con…
I am also amazed that the cleaning is never perfect, there was for example a beautiful layer of dust on the beams which is not worthy of a hotel * * * *, as well as a slight smell probably due to the open bathroom.
The shower had a tendency to drain into the bathroom…

Very disappointed, the room is very small for the price, we turned off the air conditioning of our room but the ventilation in the street resonated strongly, which produced a dull noise at night (as no view of our window, facing a wall). No reception at our arrival (apparently there would be a gym and a spa? ) No luggage service (we are simply told the elevator). The magazines in the room were dirty and the room not super clean. The breakfast buffet was very small Accustomed to luxury hotels, this one is not worth its price. The hostesses not smiling, only the staff of the restaurant were pleasant with us.

Birthday celebration in Amsterdam! I really like the location the room, the breakfast and the stuff, all great. I’m sure next time ai will be amsterdam I’ll go to the same hotel and I feel confident to recommend it. Thanks again for making my birthday perfect.

Beautiful hotel right in the center of the city. Perfect for tourism. Breakfast is awesome, and quality of bed, sheets and bathroom is perfect. If look for somewhere to stay, this is the place.

A really great place to stay. From the moment you arrive at this cool funky hotel the service is excellent, quiet rooms in central city is hard to come by. Fridge hum was only detracting feature that would drop from a 10 to 9.8. Just turned it off. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Amsterdam. Give it a go. I don’t think you’d regret it.

A very good experience. Restaurant and bar staff were uniformly excellent. Unfortunately when we checked out the receptionist persisted in telling me they had blocked my credit card. It turned out that she meant they had sort of charged the card but would take off the money a few days later if we paid by another card instead. The approach was brusque and just took the edge off an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Very central location but far enough away from the main strip to avoid the noise. Bar and restaurant are very nice and worth spending time in. I actually walked past the windows at the side of the hotel before entering through reception and, unaware that this was my hotel, was impressed enough to make a note to head there later. Wide variety of items available for breakfast and very fresh juice which was a nice surprise. Rooms are on the small side and both the toilet and shower are frosted glass cubicles so privacy can be an issue. Staff all spoke fluent English and there was a mural on the bedroom wall (again in English) giving the layout of the area and a few interesting facts. Would happily stay here again.

We had a 3 night stay at the INK and we were delighted!
The rooms are simply superb and decorated with a lot of taste, the staff is available and welcoming, the hotel is beautiful.
The breakfast is also very good and very full. We just had a feast.
The beds are very comfortable and the room is very quiet. So we have the guarantee to sleep very well!
The Wi-Fi works very well in the room and in the hotel.
Finally the location is at the top, especially when you arrive by the station Amsterdam. Just make it a 5 minute walk to reach the hotel. This one is located right in the center of the city between the best neighborhoods.
We were also able to rent bikes directly on site, which was very convenient as we were able to return them late at night!
Go ahead with your eyes closed, we'll come back!

Cool boutique hotel in a central location, short walking distance from most attractions and major shops. The hotel itself is beautifully designed in a modern, sleek style. The room is very comfortable and clean with everything to the higher standard (soaps, bathrobes, nespresso machine in the room, comfortable large bed). The cocktail bar in the hotel is also recommended. Didn't try the hotel's restaurant since we were in a walking distance to numerous great restaurants. Would definitely return in the future.

Room was nice and clean and had a great vibe to it — as represented in the imagery online. It was a little hot in the room with no Aircon option given that it was October, I'd think twice about this if returning in the summer. My only other issue was that house keeping started at 9am, which was a little too early for us. Otherwise the staff were friendly, helpful and competent and I would recommend to stay here.

Super welcome during my check-in, staff competent. The positive point of the hotel is without hesitation its restaurant "Pressroom" which serves delicious dishes. Despite some small worries with the door of my room when I arrived I think to return to this hotel on my next pass.

Unobtrusive non exterior But what a surprise when entering. Tasteful, modern, unusual, full of the trend of the time, the entrance as well as the facilities of the rooms. Also very pleasant the restaurant, repektive breakfast room and the bar. The drawing of the plan of Amsterdam on the wall of the room is terrific.

Everything was excellent, the attention, the quality and variety of breakfast. The bar and their drinks. The room and its amenities. Very happy to have been able to know the hotel.

We had an amazing, comfortable suite. Everyone on the staff was super helpful, friendly and enjoyed good laughs. The Food and Beverage was especially amazing, they made us feel like family. This was my first time to Amsterdam and when I return, I will most definitely stay at INK by Sofitel again. Please change nothing!

Great service, Central and super breakfasts.

The hotel is well located, has easy access to the Dam Square center of walking tours, tourist bus stop and shopping street.
The rooms are well decorated and cared for (choosing the upper floors, the PB to be close to the kitchen can be an advance to the menu) has been a pleasure to have known the hotel.

Nice clean hotel in the heart of the tourist district (the old city). Easy walk to everything including central station. Fantastic staff. Friendly and helpful. Room was tight but good shower, comfortable beds and clean sheets and towels. Lot's of rain during our stay so spent more time in room than we would like and it was fine. The newspaper theme was unique and interesting. More Ink please.

I really liked your hotel. The reception was perfect. People smiling and willing to help us and make our stay even more pleasant. The room is quite spacious, very clean and modern. Access to a Wi-Fi connection made it easier for us to communicate. A very important point was the proximity to the city center. We had easy access to restaurants, or tourist resorts that allowed us to plan our day well, for example buying hop on hop off tickets, or other activities. The service was excellent. Breakfast being included we really enjoyed the diversity of the dishes at the buffet and the custom if we wanted something else like an omelet.
We also really liked the historical aspect of the place. The décor was there for many.
To conclude, thank you very much. You have greatly contributed to the success of our stay in Amsterdam. We will definitely return one day and be sure that the Ink Hotel is our first choice.

We stayed at Ink hotel last week for 4 nights & loved every moment. From check-in to getting our room we were really impressed. Room was fabulous, quirky & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing — the selection of cooked, continental, breads, fresh fruit & cereal was outstanding. The staff are exceptional. The garden room offered a lovely quiet area for coffee and reading. The bar was lovely again with friendly chatty bar staff. We will return to ink hotel without hesitation. Thank you to you all for making our stay memorable.

The hotel is well situated, everything is around. The design of the hotel is modern, but the isolation of noise is not enough, we could hear other guests talking in the corridor or the tram from a closed window (we stayed on the 5/F). All the staffs (reception, HSKP, restaurant, room service) are very friendly, professional, attentive, and helpful, especially Jody from Front Office (a person I would like to thanks for). She made us an enjoyable and memorable stay in Amsterdam. She recommended some nice restaurants and places to go for discovering the city. She made our stay become interesting and we are sure that we will go back to INK hotel again because of Jody.

Such an amazing hotel. Loved the room we stayed in. Cool drawings of Amsterdam on the wall to help you stay informed and amused. The service was great everywhere: in the rooms, at dinner and during breakfast. Check-in was fast and friendly too. Everything just had a warm vibe about it. Worth every (affordable) dollar/euro.

Ideally located in the city centre, within walking from the train station, the main museums, typical neighbourhoods to visit and the main venues of Amsterdam's nightlife. The hotel is very design and very comfortable, the service is attentive, and all this for a value for money that seems to me quite satisfying.

Just Fine! Top Rooms. Free Wi-Fi. The Hotel offers clean rooms, a quality Breakfast with good Cafe, a versatile cheese and cold cuts, and sausage variations. The old town is next door, a variety of galleries, museums, and good bakeries and cafe shops are in the vicinity!

Excellent service! The rooms are great and the hotel itself is the best in the area.

The stay was satisfactory but some details are perplexing. Lack the bidet and a proper hygiene in these conditions is not impossible, but is always problematic. I am not convinced by anything in the solution of the shower and toilet in a box of glass with the wash basin in the same environment of the bed. Throughout the room there is a drawer for personal effects. Luckily, we have done only two nights, for longer periods the only option is to leave a good part of the clothing in the suitcase. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. The cleanliness of the room and the common areas always perfect. Only gave much annoyance to the continuous noise from the waitress (at least half an hour, that was doing? out of the room around 6 in the morning. Even in the second morning came into the room (after knocking). The location of the hotel is good, within walking distance from the train station and Dam square, opposite the stop of several lines for the tram. We have not used the restaurant and bar. Sincerely, € 20 for the breakfast "special offer" seems to me an exaggeration.

Good hotel in all respects… although the food is little varied and a small amount.

Friendly staff from start to finish, clean trendy rooms and ample sized (despite some American reviewers disliking the European sizes! ) really nice touch with chocolates / prosecco and some minibar drinks included on arrival. We didn't eat, so couldn't comment on the food. Good location, near to many things. Would stay again. Thanks Ink.

We had a great time in our first trip to Amsterdam! Your staff was wonderful and so gracious in answering our questions. Our dinners and breakfast were first class in the restaurant. Great selection of foods and yummy to eat! First rate! Our room was perfect and it was so easy to get on the tram to go anywhere!

The entire experience was amazing. The rooms were extremely unique and the hotel has made great use of small space. The rooms are a LITTLE small (I stress little because every room is small in Europe) however still extremely comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. Overall the room was great and the Map on the wall was a great touch! We loved reading it when going to sleep. We purchased breakfast the next morning and the food was great. The waiters were very professional and efficient — we loved the experience and will DEFINITELY be back to the hotel if we get the opportunity.

Best thing about the hotel is its location, its design and decor!

My husband and I decided to spend 2 weeks in Amsterdam for our 5th wedding anniversary. As a gay couple who were married in New York City USA once it was legal we always have some reservations when we go abroad, even in our own country. The concierge Ellen (i think that was her name) over heard us when we were checking in and realized we had booked a smaller room. She immediately offered to upgrade us to a king on the top floor for our anniversary. She then made sure the room was immaculate. She took us up and she had chlorate roses sprinkled on the bed, wine and champagne and a wonderful note (which we kept as a keep sake). She checked in with us almost everyday. It is hard to put into words how grateful and heart warming your reception was for us. Your staff helped us navigate the city, offer suggestions and were always happy and cheerful. We have fallen in love with Amsterdam. We hope to return one day and will stay at INK.

So I must say the Hotel is nice. What can I say, unfortunately, from the staff in the Restaurant.

My stay at Ink Hotel is such a memorable one. The last time I was there it was called the Coventry. Now it has undergone a tremendous renovation and its so beautiful. The staff are so nice, so receptive, so welcoming. The hotel is situated in a place where you can walk around and appreciate the beauty of the city with its canals, architecture and friendly people. It is just a few minutes walk from the central station which makes it easy to move around. It is a hotel worth coming back to.

Great reception staff friendly and knowledgeable, breakfast plentiful and quality rooms comfortable and original, I had two rooms of different category at different costs but I could not appreciate the difference…

We simply ate and drank in their restaurant. The level is certainly good and the prices are fair. Particular vote I would give to Riccardo, young barman extremely attentive and kind.

Service was very friendly and accommodating, the entire Hotel is filled with beautiful trifles and the Details, the ambience is very nice and we have felt ourselves very well. It is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

The hotel is very well placed, tram stop just ahead. A taxi always available in front also.

The bar is very nice. We enjoyed finding French staff at the bar and breakfast.
This made our stay easier. The bartender although Young is very professional and very nice. Ditto for one of the waitress at breakfast.
We regretted the cold in the lounge behind the bar and the absence of the fireplace to warm the atmosphere.
The patio must be very nice in the summer.
I regretted the discomfort of the sheets which were really particularly rough. It's pretty rare for this type of hotel.
The breakfast was very good, one little regret the lack of originality, or differentiation compared to other hotel of this standing. Type: small homemade pancakes, or different kind of white cheeses, or more variety of Dutch cheese. Like what.

A hotel full of charm, the beds super comfortable and room and bathroom is new. Everything is super clean and you do not hear not a single noise at night. The hotel is full of small corners, vintage precious. And the walls are decorated with maps of the city. Come back for sure.

Very nice downtown in Amsterdam but as in all metropolitan cities the rooms are small.
