Very well located; the people who serve you, Dani and Mariel, are lovely; a lot of flexibility with entrances and exits and guests; delicious breakfast; Beautiful views. But, above all, the humane treatment is fantastic.

If you’re looking for the best place to stay in Amsterdam with perfect central location, with friendly staff, full filling & always fresh breakfast, very clean & tidy rooms and communal areas with chilled atmosphere and a decent bar with wide range of drinks selections then you’ve found it! I’m staying here for years and after my first staying I felt right away like another home in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

Stopped for a two night weekend stay for my friends 50th. Superb accommodation, extremely friemdly welcome from Daniel, could not have made us feel more at home. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend.

Original rental with a very warm welcome.

At first I was afraid because I thought that was going to be a hotel very bad. But as soon as you arrive take me a pleasant surprise. The owners are very friendly and make you feel as if you were at home. The staterooms, although they are small, they are very comfortable and are perfectly equipped and well distributed. The beds very comfortable, heating great. The bathroom super clean, the shower larger than in various hotels, being that it was a boat. The water pressure was very good and the temperature also. The bags can be put inside. Of. A few drawers that are under the beds, so that saves a lot of space. Has USB connectors to charge cell phones, cameras, two connectors (220V) and two lamps for each bed. The breakfast was the best. A lot of pastries/invoices, cheeses, salamis, hams, breads, white, black, and with seeds. The egg went, one day fried another hard day, scrambled eggs, and super fresh. They served very good coffee, teas, cold water and orange juice, very good quality. There was also granolas are 4 cereals, 5 types to choose from, and yogurt also. There were also several fruits (bananas, pears, kiwis, apples, etc) and fresh cucumbers. Finally, the tables had Nutella, peanut butter, honey, butter, cream cheese, hagelslag, and various other things. Of all the hotels that I visited, this is one of the best quality-price ratio that there is. Would return without hesitation. 10/10

The best hotel on the sea.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam. Stayed here multiple times and I am still in love with the place. The atmosphere on the Angeline gives a warm, relaxing impression. The breakfast served will suit the needs of many, since there is a wide variety to choose from to eat. The rooms are nice, have plenty of space, are always clean and offer comfort. But what tops all of this mentioned above are the employees working the boat. They are polite, kind, helpfull, and willing to go the extra mile for you as a guest. Once more: Thankyou for making my stay on the Angeline one I will never forget guys A big shoutout to Dani & Hannah, you guys rock!

You will not find a better place to stay in Amsterdam and even more so you will not find better hosts! Dani and Hannah are the warm, welcoming people you are looking for when visiting Amsterdam!

This place is amazing. I went there with the idea that this was a hotel and I was terribly disappointed. It is in fact a boat and you are going to stay in a cabin. However once I adjusted to that idea and embraced the experience I was amazed by the pros I had in staying here. The hosts are amazing. Never experienced a more relaxed and friendly stay in any place (I travel extensively and use both hotels and Airbnb). The breakfast is amazing and reflects the spirit of abundance the owner of the hotelboat has. They are very generous in everything they do and you literally feel at home. The shower is hot and the water pressure amazing. The bed comfortable and the room warm. I highly recommend this place also because of the very central location. I basically walked everywhere from our hotel. Don't expect a hotel, but you will be positively impressed by your experience.

We were excited about visiting Amsterdam. The opportunity to sleep on a boat was an added bonus! We were initially nervous, but upon arrival we immediately felt at home by the staff. They were amazing and super helpful. We booked a room with two separate beds and had our own bathroom/shower. This place offers tremendous value! 15 minute walks from main attractions and a good night's sleep away from the hustle of Amsterdam. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we had during our two weeks traveling throughout Europe. Our only regret is not having more time to stay here ;) See you next time Hotelboat Angeline!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Breakfast was amazing and varied options to what you could have to eat (just perfect! ) Staff are very welcoming and approachable if you needed to ask for things or directions etc. Total honesty? You'd be mad not to stay on a hotelboat when in Amsterdam, famous for its history of the canals! Recommended this place to friends who's interested in having a weekend away.
