Amazing hotel. Cannot fault it. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location to the city centre. Rooms clean and bed extremely comfortable with the options of a pillow menu. Great choices for breakfast. Fantastic self service bar as an extra with a great ambience. Extra special touch from the staff when they decorated our room for a birthday surprise.

Wonderful service, amazing breakfast, kind and helpful staff, fun atmosphere and perfect location. Bed was very comfortable and loved the pillow menu. Personally, not a fan of the decor but it added to the fun, quirky charm.

An absolutely amazing hotel! Lovely rooms and perfect location. Very caring staff. Snacks, fruits, and drinks for free all day. Cheese 5 o'clock. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is very good. I highly recommend this hotel!

After reading hundreds of great reviews about the Banks Mansion I booked the hotel for a 4 night stay in Amsterdam. Unfortunately the hotel did not live up to it's expectations even in the slightest bit. After walking around the city during the day we came back to a dirty room every single day, we typically returned around 3PM to freshen up so one would think that room service would have come to straighten up by then. After discussing it with both an employee at the desk and the manager, this continued to happen each day. On our first day we also requested laundry to be returned to us which was never picked up, luckily there is a dry cleaners next door that was able to provide the service for $15 instead of the $75 the hotel would have charged and they had it back to us same day. The rooms although on the larger side did not have any dresser to store clothes, there we no sheets on the bed and lighting was scarce. The staff overall was friendly in nature but seemed to have no idea what was going on in the hotel and didn't have any interest in helping. In the evening you are required to ring the bell to enter the hotel and I waited over 5 minutes outside the hotel until finally someone came to open the door leaving myself and my wife waiting outside in the middle of the night.

Impressed by the experience. Excellent location. Filling breakfast. The alcohol and cokes are free in the room. Wonderful lobby. They go the extra mile to make guests welcome. Won't stay anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Our hotel stay was AMAZING! This was a trip to celebrate and we were graciously upgraded to the junior suite by the staff — we even had some nice bon bons set out by the bathtub for us to enjoy! The all inclusive bar, drinks, snacks, and fun cheese hour was fantastic! Lovely breakfast in the kitchen each morning. Thanks to the staff for such a wonderful stay in a centrally located area. Highly recommend the Banks Mansion.

I stayed in room 412, a deluxe room on the top floor. The room is located in the rear of the building. As a result, the view is not great and mainly overlooks the tops of adjacent buildings. However, the room is quieter than those that are in the front of the building facing the canal and street. Breakfast is included and pretty good. All drinks are included (alcohol, water, soda, coffee, etc. ). I found the room to be the perfect size for 1 person, but might be tight for 2.

Banks Mansion is a great hotel located just steps from the Tram line in the historic area of Amsterdam. The hotel rooms have spacious showers and beds to wrap you in sleep after sightseeing all day. The free afternoon wine and cheese in the lobby give you a chance to share your day with others from around the world on holiday in Amsterdam too. The elaborate breakfasts fill you for a good start each day. A variety of restaurants are a short walk away and the staff are helpful with recommendations.

Fabulous hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. Spotless clean room overlooking the canal with a good size bathroom & shower. Great breakfast, customer service & thought the self service free bar was a great touch. Would recommend & stay again!

Excellent service. Plus, free happy hour and drinks. I always try and stay here when in Amsterdam. If you can, book the suite with the tub!

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights and couldn't have been happier. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not tiny, like others in Europe. Their image they're trying to create is that of being homey, which I feel they've accomplished. The amenities were amazing, from the delicious breakfast, to the cheese bar happy hour, to the included mini bar in the room. On top of that, the location is great too. If back in Amsterdam, we will stay here again.

We had a great time from the comfort of the bed, room was fab, all inclusive drinks and nibbles all day, the food and service was excellent. Definitely recommend it.

I can't speak highly enough how great this hotel is. The all inclusive concept was brilliant. The room was great. With decanters of whisky, rum and gin. Minibar all in the room and price is excellent. The breakfast I can not speak highly enough of. There is something for everyone and anyone. As for the two cooks Ola was one that served us most. What an absolutely lovely lady. Always smiling makes a very tasty scrambled, fried eggs, omelette, pancakes, French toast etc… You ask for it they'll sort it outstanding staff that can't do enough for you. I needed soy notified them before we arrived. They had it all sorted. The cheese platter they put out between 5-7 was lovely and the little communal area very comfy. It really does have a home from home feeling. You couldn't want for anything more. The location is so good after a walk you could pop back in for a coffee and then go out again. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the customer service, staff with beaming smiles everytime you walked back in was brilliant. I will definitely be going back hopefully sooner than I think. But 100% recommend definitely will not be disappointed.

Best location — walking distance to everything. The rooms are spacious and the staff are so friendly and willing to help you in any way.

My son and I stayed at the hotel in early December and absolutely loved it! The staff were very friendly and helpful and a special mention to Mick on reception who helped me print out my boarding passes! Drinks in the room and other little touches were a great bonus too, as well as the snacks and drinks in the lounge. As a vegetarian the only thing where I would suggest a small change is the breakfast station where hot food is prepared, eg. There is only one pan for omelettes so that isn't suitable — a separate veggie one would be good :) I would definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Fantastic hotel lovely rooms, particularly overlooking the canal, and the staff amazing nothing is too much trouble. There's a great selection for breakfast and of course this is an all inclusive hotel so tea, coffee, wine spirits everything is in. When we return to Amsterdam Banks Mansion will be our only choice.

Great Amsterdam hotel. Easy walk from the train station (keep in mind, we're runners… ~ 1 mile), good location, and AWESOME staff. The free breakfast, wine in the evening, beers in the lobby, and free mini bar make this place great value. The rooms were cleaned well and comfortable. We will be counting this as our "Amsterdam HQ. "

My wife and I stayed at Banks Mansion for part of our honeymoon and enjoyed every minute of it. It's a very quiet hotel with comfortable beds, outstanding amenities, and top notch employees. Do yourself a favor and look no further.

Helpful staff, comfortable air-conditioned rooms with an inclusive minibar. The afternoon cheese experience brings guests together to enjoy the inclusive drinks and snacks. Breakfast is cooked freshly upon request (at restricted times). Good location for the museums, and not too far from the centre of Amsterdam.

We were VERY pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly, the amenities are stellar and it's pretty all-inclusive.

Room was great — most comfortable bed I've had in Europe, and the staff were super friendly. Loved the all inclusive concept too! Only complaint is that there was major rattling every night coming from the bathroom drain (it sounded like someone dropped a whole cart full of dishes).

Very nice hotel! Very well situated and lots of included goodies, although the price per night is much more than I normally would spend. Very friendly employees!

The staff has been excellent, and the rooms are comfortable. Unfortunately, depsite having a menu of pillows, I never found a pillow — or combination of pillows which was comfortable. Also, I think their room service could pay a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom.

We checked back in having left Amsterdam for a few days and the Banks Mansion was just as welcoming as we left it. The staff is wonderful and orient's their guests to the hotel and surroundings as part of the check-in process. Kim in particular, was most attentive, professional, and made us feel like honored guests. The hotel is clean, quiet, contemporary (modern mission) with beverages and snacks in the lobby and rooms, and a full breakfast. Ideally situated in the center of the 3 canal rings, arts and shopping are an easy walk. We most highly recommend this hotel!

This is a good hotel, great location downtown, excellent service, furniture is not very diverse, but fresh, with a good choice of tasty breakfasts, mini-bar included in the lobby there is always coffee, tea, alcohol (included in the price). Of the shortcomings — not found were polotentsesushitele and warm bathroom floor (wet towels not hung up, but change them) and quite a strong smell of cleaners in the room, the hallway and the Elevator. Rooms with canal views are good (on the street — the noise in the yard — kind of, not really).

The Banks Mansion is amazing. The entire staff could not be more accommodating and I mean the entire staff. The room was clean and modern, the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on and that includes my own bed. Don't even get me started on how incredible the pillows are, seriously. But the bathroom, the bathroom makes it a complete home run. I could stand under that shower for days. The front of the house is also very modern in a contemporary sort of way. It's warm and the staff is very inviting. Robert recommend a different place for dinner each night and he hit a bullseye each time. The breakfast is outstanding, Sandra made me omelette's, pancakes, sausage, and bacon. I loved the OJ machine, I need one in my apartment. Overall this hotel knocks it out of off the park. I will only stay at one hotel in Amsterdam and The Banks Mansion is that hotel.
