Great staff, restaurants, and amenities!

Good location and lots of dinning choices. But aging with a terrible layout. Very cramped when busy. One pool and so much wasted space. 3.5/5 stars. Nice mid property if you can get it cheap. The grand hotel Cancun and JW Marriott are far nicer.

A beautiful hotel all the facilities clean mostly the super friendly staff, just a detail in the restaurant of the part where the pool is pressure you a lot to leave the table quickly you are about to finish your food and you already have the account on the table 😵 💫from there in more everything good!

This is the best Marriott I have ever been to, And I have stayed at a lot. They have done so much to make my birthday so special to me and my family I appreciate them very much. From the 1st step I have stepped into this hotel each moment have been special. Thank you Marriott in staff.

I loved this location! Very clean, beautiful and high class! As soon as you enter, the smell is so great that you feel like you want to go in there. We visited another hotel because of a things someone offered — but that place was nothing compared to this hotel! Horrible smell and a crowded entrance way! We loved this Marriott. The pool crystal clear! The jacuzzi at the right temperature! 😍😍🥰🥰 The service from everyone was exceptional and just royalty treatment! The room was clean just for one small thing we found in the bathroom. But was taken care of right away! We had an oceanfront and those sounds of the waves 🌊 was soo soothing! All the restaurants on site are amazing! Great food! Nothing but a great experience overall! And I would recommend this a million times! I mean as long as they meet the same expectations as mine! But really beautiful! They even had a turtle eggs reserve! And they were not giving straws because it is close to hatch season! All of this is also family friendly! So many activities to do with the kids! I would recommend!

Was ok. New Year’s Eve was loud until 3am. Staff didn’t let us know about our corporate coupon for dining savings. Two restaurants were not open. Not the best experience. Beach access and pool were closed for a private party. Sucked.

Very nice and expensive hotels. Staffs are very helpful and generous but I’m very disappointed that dead seaweed’s all over the sand. Not pretty, not very clean as it is shown on hotel website. Also, it is very noisy.

The only really messed up thing is that the cleaning staff left the door latched opened so anyone could have gotten in. Thank God we were getting back to the room shortly after. But everyone was very professional and nice.

I absolutely love this property and the staff, especially Miguel at the front desk and Edgar at the pool/beach bar. They're so thoughtful and accommodating and made sure my stays (five times in the past 11 months) were wonderful. The rooms are on the smaller side but always super clean and the balconies are very large. I had a suite for one trip and it was spectacular! the food at the restaurant was always really good but in June, they changed the menu and now it's expansive and even better! The breakfast is really great as well and so is all the staff at the restaurant. The location of the Marriott is also prime walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Cancun.

My family and I stayed here and the service was outstanding! All the staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The food was also good the breakfast buffet was my favorite.

Really enjoyed the JW Marriott property, the service is great and the location is unbeatable. They have multiple restaurants on promise, plus you can use the Marriott next door amenities. The Hibachi restaurant was very nice. They are only at 60% capacity. The pool areas are nice too.

Here is fantastic! every human here is above and beyond helpful and happy to make every moment the best. My room is fantastic… king with a balcony looking straight to the sea. Currently there is some work being done on the exterior — but that isn’t in the slight diminishing the experience of sunshine waves and pool lounging with drinks and lunch delivering right to me. The only part i’m sad about is checkout being tomorrow.

Absolutely beautiful resort! There is something for everyone here, from fine dining, to toes in the sand, while having a burger. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. BTW the lobby smells like jasmine. Definitely want to come back!

Omg. I love this hotel. I had a room overlooking the water, it was a fabulous view. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. I had lunch and drinks by the beach each day. The food is so delicious.

Love this hotel. The staff here delivered one of the best treatments among hotels at which we have stayed. The hotel itself is freaking gorgeous. The Ceilings are grand and there is water all around. I love this hotel. Also, we are good members and they made sure we felt like we were. I can speak more highly of this hotel. All of the food served on premises is amazing. So tasty. The service is great. We had an ocean view room with one queen bed and a sofa. Everything was spotless clean. The restaurants are really good. There a bar at the pool. There is plenty of things to do, even on rainy days.

Spacious rooms and a very nice resort. The pool is large and has activities. Most items on the resort are a reasonable cost. There is a resort fee but nobody explained what it was for. Still a great location for families and those looking to relax.

This resort is stunning! Everything that you'd expect and more from a resort in Cancun. The staff were fantastic, and very inviting. Every time we needed something from concierge, or guest services, they always provided, and in a timely manner. The Location is amazing, right on the ocean with an amazing view. It is a lil far from some attractions, but everything you needed was right here at the resort. The room was the perfect size for my wife and I, with very comfortable bedding, and very great air conditioning. I would recommend Marriott Cancun Resort to anyone planning a vacation to Cancun.

Good place to stay if you have the opportunity but get ready to pay a hidden fee of $25 each day for using the pool and all the hotel amenities. Whether you use them or not, you pay. It adds up pretty quick and gets tacked on at the checkout. All inclusive gets my vote for the price. Perla, our housekeeper, made it feel very special and welcoming, she is the standard to strive for.

What beautiful resort… fantastic staff. My husband and I came to Cancun mainly because our teenage boys wanted a beach vacation (we usually HATE the beach) but this resort and location has totally changed our mind. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and very accommodating and the beach was beautiful. The temperature (last week in May) was warm but not too hot (highs in mid 80's & lows in the mid 70's) with a great breeze all the time. They had a rinse off area right where you get off the beach so that you can get rid of the sand when you are finished before heading to the pool. They have complementary towels for the pool and beach. Plenty of covered area to escape the sun. Waiters available for pool side and beach drink/food orders. Animated outdoor movies for younger kids at night with popcorn. Volleyball nets in the pool and on the beach along with soccer nets. There are excellent life guards on the beach and they do a great job of watching everyone and keep people safe by calling them in if they go out too fast. Most all the staff speak good English and do their best to accommodate all requests. We contemplated staying at the JW Marriott next door but so glad we went with this one. This is much more lively (in a good way) and family friendly. The JW seemed stodgy and more for the retired crowd. We will definitely be back.

We decided to eat at the Japanese restaurant Mikado. The food was okay, but nothing extra special. They also have hibachi. If you like hibachi, Mikado is a great choice. After dinner we checked out some of their other restaurants and their pool/beachfront. It was nice, open, and spacious.

The resort is top notch and beautiful. My husband and I have been truly impressed by the quality of service, friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. It seems room attendants keep your room clean all day! Rooms are nicely decorated, beds and bedding comfortable. Balcony with ocean view was awesome. The facilities: pool, hot tub, beach sun beds, gym, lobby, on-site restaurants, etc. Were all great. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort.

Came here for a weekend with my 11 year old daughter. The access to the beach is perfect, the pool and hot tub are awesome (swim up bar) and there are games everywhere — corn hole, ping pong, giant Jenga, giant chess, basketball, etc. We had lots to do together all day and night. The food options were great and service top notch. Would definitely come back. It was just what we were looking for.

I fell in love with Cancun. The people are very friendly, the beaches amazing and there are many places to go to eat or walk around. The prices in general are not cheap, but anyway it is not an expensive destination and it is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous hotel, comfortable and stylish accommodations. The beds were not standard "double" size that you'd find on the States, at 5ft 8" my feet were hanging off the bed — so if you're really tall you might want to reconsider. That's said the staff was really pleasant, the rooms were spotless, bedding clean and crisp. And let me not forget to mention the beautiful pools and beach access from the hotel. It's unfortunate that it's not an all-inclusive resort but there is still tons to do and lots of nearby restaurants.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… We just returned from 3 night and looking forward to returning next week for 7 more days with my children. I have to praise the staff, everyone from Jose the doorman, to front desk reception to dining staff. They are really why this place is a 5 star resort. I left the place feeling like I was royalty. It was very nice to be served and treated as though I was a princes for 4 days. Everywhere I turned there was always a staff member looking to see how they can assist me. What I appreciated most was how they saw me pulling my luggage and immediately they would come to help me. And here is the most important take away, I really appreciate the way they served me with a warm smile but without "the pressure' of expecting a tip. That was most important to me because that just always turns me off. But to this group of staff, I was more than happy to tip them and show my own appreciation for their genuine service. They do anything to make your stay comfortable and easy. Wonderful customer service training!

Overall, we are having a fantastic time! This specific property is doing a great job of delivering friendly service and a clean comfortable experience. We especially enjoy nice blend of the interaction with the natural environment all the while having access to this top notch resort. Very laid back and pleasant vibe all around.

We celebrated our honeymoon at this Resort, the staff was friendly, the resort had numerous dining options from casual to fancy and our room was top-notch and gorgeous. The maid made friendly towel animals to leave for us. There are numerous activities for us to go for adventure and gym and spa for relaxation. We had the best corner room with all windows for the beach scene and a wrap around deck. Loved it.

Everything is beautiful to the tourist they treat it well even when for all service they ask for tip and it depends there if the service improves. It is understood to be an important income for them.

Of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. These in Cancun give beautiful colors and very fine white sand. Very good to walk on it.

Amazing location with a great layout clearly set up for maximizing sun exposure! Huge pool with an even more relatively huge hot tub. Many rooms have pool/gulf views that are sublime. The staff and service is attentive and very nice. Large, beautiful beach that they maintain pretty well. Lots of food and drink options between this and the JW next door. Definitely worth the price!

Beautiful hotel, lovely pools and cabanas on the beach. The staff were all amazing and helpful. However, they put us right next to the construction, which I completely understand when a hotel needs to renovate… but they were still hammering at 10:00 AT NIGHT! Completely unacceptable and even worse was the response from the front of house manager who apologized that our expectations were not met. Apologized (barely) and said that hotels must undergo construction to keep things up to date — not a single mention to address that construction went on until 10:00 PM. Very poor customer service from management. But, luckily, your staff was warm and welcoming.

A beautiful hotel on the beach of Cancun. This resort has some all inclusive options also. It's a beautiful location, actually one of the nicest resorts on the strip. It's a little bit more expensive but you can find great deals too. Lots of great food choices are available. They also provide pool and beach service so you can spend your time e relaxing. The staff has been super friendly and they all seem to speak English pretty well. They also have a great convention space.

An excellent place to stay for your time in Cancun. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is truly unbelievable; watch for local specialties. The beach and pool are a great way to pass a day and relax. Ask the concierge about excursions; we took a private driver and avoided much of the chaos with the big bus tours.

My bf took me here for my birthday trip. I was definitely amazed by this location. Construction is still ongoing but we only heard noise after leaving our room. We made sure to inspect the room before booking which helped our decision. Big thanks to the reception for allowing us to inspect the room, and gave us the last king size bed! Oh, and do try the pizza and ice cream. Both were excellent!

I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful hotel for a quick getaway for my birthday and it was better then I could have expected! Gorgeous views, pristine rooms and the service is like no other. I enjoyed my time on the beach and before I could get up to get another refreshment someone came over quickly before I could stand all the way up. I felt like a princess. When I visit Cancun again, this will be the place I stay while I venture out and explore.

This hotel has excellent facilities, service and restaurants.

We stayed for 5 nights in November and had a great time. The staff were all very helpful for finding our way around and figuring out what activities to do. The restaurants on site we're good but we found ourselves going out most nights. We had only minimal nose from outside/other rooms. The pills and beach were both nice and well maintained. My only complaint is there is not much to do directly around the hotel but it is very easy to get a cab from the lobby or walk down to the main road to get a bus.

A little far south in the hotel zone for me. Most of the malls and restaurants are farther north. At this writing a bus ride is only 12 pesos and they are frequent (and can resemble a thrill ride). The hotel itself has great service and amenities — What I would expect from a Marriott. All rooms seem to face the ocean which is a bonus. The ocean in this part of Cancun tends to have a lot of waves — calmer beaches are past the Fiesta Americana Cancun.

Place is very pretty. And the pools are close to the beach so you can enjoy both. Just a little side story. When we checked in, they gave us a room that's already occupied, we walked into the room seeing clothes on the bed… We ran out and let the front desk know. It took them one hour to gave us another room. : (

The Casa Magna is located in the zona hotelera in Cancun. The beaches here are clean with clear turquoise water. We booked one of the cheaper rooms on the property so it is small, with two double beds. I wouldn't call it luxurious but it is nice and clean. The bathroom and shower is very nice. The hotel common areas are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are several restaurant options between the Casa Magna and the adjoining JW Marriott resort. The food and service is better than most hotels I've visited in the States. Although the hotel zone is rather isolated, transportation is easy. Tours for day trips will pick you up right outside the lobby doors. This is our first visit to Cancun, and it's been great so far.

The service here is very friendly, and helps with quality any doubt. It is easy to make reservations with restaurants or activities. Cancun beach is delitosa and the water is blue and refreshing.

All to been excellent. From the entrance where Diego I surrender my room key. All is perfect in my room. The toilet is excelnte. Thank you Rachel and Melina. All the employees are very helpful. The service of Jiovanni in the pool also excellent. This is the second time that I have the opportunity of staying at a Marriott. The first was in Puerto Rico other service and very nice hotel. Thank you for the excellent service.

Great place to visit, friendly staff, in-house currency exchange (however many places will accept foreign currency in Cancun), gorgeous layout and ocean views, well organized gym, spa, dining options. Conveniently located in the hotel zone not far from shops, movies, clubs, bars, beaches, outdoor activities and the airport. Cable and Wi-Fi are available in room.

Went for lunch pool side and had the most amazing beef skewers. It was cooked perfectly and came with cilantro rice, guacamole and pico de gaio. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in Cancun.

The rooms are fairly standard, but it's right in the beach. We have a great balcony overlooking the beach. Nice pool, good restaurants, great service from the staff on site. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Good location, great staff. Rooms weren't particularly special but comfortable nonetheless. Very nice facilities, and the Argentinian restaurant, although not very Argentinian, was excellent.

This place is terrific! I visited only a couple of days but wanted to stay permanently. The pool and beach were as good as they get. Highly recommended.

The best of the best, excellence first and foremost.

The locale has a refreshing tropical ambiance. The resort is well kept and even grand in some areas, including the lobby and the pool. The latter is right next to the beach, which is exceptionally clean. The rooms themselves are a little on the small side, but pretty standard fare. Room service does a fine job changing our bedsheets, replacing towels, etc. The La Capilla restaurant is also pretty good, and there are several other restaurants located on resort grounds.

Nice hotel and service, just like you would expect from Marriott. There's a convenience store on site that's very expensive. Beach/pool drink and food prices are comparable to what you'd pay in US. Chairs and umbrellas are free. There's only one pool and no free activities for kids (there's a kids club but it's quite pricey). Great option if not looking for an all inclusive but extras add up quickly, especially if traveling with kids.

Room was a bit small and there were no mirrors except in the bathroom and no full length mirrors. We were there for a business vacation and it would have been helpful to be able to check your overall appearance before leaving your room. The attached restaurants were good and provided great convenience. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and very clean.

It's a great hotel if you do not want all inclusive. I have been here 2 times now and 3 times to all inclusive resorts here in Cancun. If u want more private but willing to pay more come here!

Great hotel, staff was always more than willing to help you. At a time of year when I went which was July the hotel never felt crowded. There is direct access to the beach, transportation is feet away, and the weather was GREAT. Good time at this hotel.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful resort and the absolutely fantastic staff. They were so friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed for a spectacular stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well situated. It's definitely worth the upgrade to the ocean view rooms, where you can have private breakfast on your own patio overlooking the gorgeous water. Definitely indulge, if you can, in the romantic dinner on the beach. Delicious food, impeccable service, and a totally romantic experience!

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site Very nice hotel with expansive open areas, excellent pool area and beach access. Plenty of restaurants on site, and you can take a short cab ride or even take the local bus to access less expensive restaurants in the more happening area just to the north. There are two convenient stores within a quarter mile walk from the front entrance for many common items like beer, orange juice, bottle water, coffee, etc. And even a McDonald's if you want to save some money.

If I could leave 10 Stars I would. Great amenities, excellent staff and a gorgeous view to compliment the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort.

A great hotel, three year in a row, I'm going to miss this year.

My wife and I stayed at the CasaMagna in May of 2015 and we thought it was very nice. We had an ocean view room on the 6th floor and it was very clean and extremely quiet. The service in the hotel is top notch. The people that work at the CasaMagna were some of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met while on vacation. We tried two of the restaurants and although the service was excellent we thought the food was below expectations at the price point. If you like to swim in a pool or just get a tan the hotel will be fine for you. We are kayakers, snorkelers, and surfers and the hotel does not accommodate any of these activities. Buses run from the street in front of the hotel to the nightclubs in Cancun.

This hotel is top notch. I like Marriotts in general but this one is one of those where I wanted to extend my stay. Service is great all across. Beautiful beach front, I can tell Marriott pays a lot of attention to details and you can see that on the beach, how clean and neat it is. Employees are kind and well trained, Restaurants are very good. The rooms are well maintained, clean and the beds are very confortable. The ocean view from the rooms is fantastic. Internet is everywhere. My wife and I like the location becuase it is close to everything you need and the taxi or bus stop is right outside the hotel. The place is well airconditioned if you need a break from the heat. The JW next door is supposed to be better but this hotel is so well maintained and service is so good that I will have a hard time deciding for my next stay beteen the two.

Very nice hotel with expansive open areas, excellent pool area and beach access. Plenty of restaurants on site, and you can take a short cab ride or even take the local bus to access less expensive restaurants in the more happening area just to the north. There are two convenient stores within a quarter mile walk from the front entrance for many common items like beer, orange juice, bottle water, coffee, etc. And even a McDonald's if you want to save some money.

If you're ready to be treated well great choice but DO NOT FORGET your Wallet! PESOS IS all that matter here, bring it and you will have a great time! Renting a car is great also; very reasonable. Don't worry they have a boat load of rent a car by airport and Google GPS works great.

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway after my daughter's wedding and decided on the Casamagna Marriott. All we wanted was to relax and do absolutely nothing and we could not have been more pleased. As a tourism professional I think I tend to hold a property to a higher standard and the Casamagna did not disappoint. We had an oceanview (an upgrade from what we originally reserved) Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The pool was large and accomodating and the restaurants offered a lot of variety. If you stay here you can also use the restaurants next door at the JW Marriott. The servers were like family by the end of the week. Manuela and Yujairia were exceptional! They always had a smile on their face and were ready with a suggestion for dinner on site or in town. There was some construction going on but we were never disturbed by any of it. The hotel was located in a great spot along the hotel zone, super close to shopping, dining and excursions, but still very private and tranquil.

I was just at this Marriott over the past weekend (9/1) and the Hotel, Staff, Food, everything was OUTSTANDING. You can better believe it that I will be back! I Highly recommend this Resort as a place to stay.

Hola! Recently me and the love of my life stayed for our second time at the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort. I have to say that our experience this time was just as enjoyable as our first time. The staff their are first class in customer service and ensuring that your every wish is satisfied. We definitely felt like we returned home! We had a beautiful ocean front view that was breath taking to the sun rising and the sound of the ocean. The food at the surrounding eateries are delicious and provide an array of options from fancy to a low key sports bar atmosphere. You have to treat yourself to any one of the spa treatments or if your like me have three:) I left there floating feeling relaxed and beautiful. What can I say, we love the CasaMagna Marriott and look forward to returning very soon! Gracias to the staff for making our stay special. Don Snyder and Deneen Joyner.

This was am incredible vacation spot. Beautiful beaches. Great amenities like the spa and workout facilities. The restaurants were really good to and there is quick access to many address to shop and eat. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was very clean and the service was great.

I wasn't able to experience this beautiful resort! I booked an all inclusive on line through Expedia. Only to find out the resort had oversold their "all inclusive" rooms. I double checked my reservations before travel only to discover I no longer had all inclusive. Very unhappy with Expdia and the Resort. Their attitude was, "oops. " Horrible customer serv ice.

Excellent and paradisiacal place. I highly recommend it.
