An affordable place to stay and very cute. However I requested a room with air conditioning when placing my reservation and then was told upon arrival that none were available which was disappointing and there was no hot water, but otherwise it was fine.

Muy pocas veces dejo un review o un comentario de algún hotel que visitó, pero esta vez siento que debo hacerlo ya que el hotel “Cervantino” tiene las personas más amables, lindas, y cálidas de la ciudad de Tapachula. El precio es muy bueno, las habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. Totalmente recomendado si viajas solo o acompañado te aseguro que te tratarán como parte de la familia. Gracias gente de Tapachula y gracias hotel Cervantino y personal, hicieron mi estadía un placer.

I like this hotel because it provides good services, the friendly attention of its staff, it offers authentic coffee from Chiapas in the mornings as courtesy and its reservations are easy to do until WATSAP, give suggestions for visits to very good tourist places.

The overall stay is good. The problem is that for a simple room… which normally is for 1 or 2 people… if they enter 2 you charge extra person… as is possible… The worst thing is that you do not explain when you arrive… very disappointed.

We stayed here for 3 days and felt so at home we didn't want to leave. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in a room without air conditioning, and I worried that it would be warm during the day, but with the ceiling fan on, the temperature was just fine. Hot coffee is provided in the mornings & the cafe next door, La Dulcinea, is delicious — you must try the strawberry milkshake and blackberry tart. Wifi was strong, and I enjoyed that the hotel was just a few blocks from the park, which had plenty of restaurant options. It is a great place to stay and head out during the days to explore the Izapa ruins, nearby volcanoes, waterfalls, etc…

I really like this place every time I come to Tapachula, Chiapas, I always stay at this place, and the staff is very friendly, Its Worth every cent.

I stayed here four days and loved it. I was here from Oaxaca on a visa run. The rooms were very clean. The staff were very alert and kind. And I often ate at the café next door, La Dulcinea. Great food and very convenient. Also, I twisted my knee when I fell at la frontera. I had to stay an extra two days. The staff essentially took care of me. They got me prescriptions from Farmacia del Ahorro. They brought me food. I received excellent care. I could not ask for better.

Great basic hotel for a quick stay in Tapachula. 2 blocks from the collectivo terminal to CD. Hidalgo & right around the corner from el Pastorcito taco place.

The rooms have everything needed, kept very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the heat in the room, Which it Compensates for the fan.

The service is excellent. The price is right for what you have. There are rooms with air-conditioning and other with fan. All have a private bathroom. Attention: does not have water of regulated temperature, just room temperature and has no other services at hotels much more expensive.
