Loved the hotel, definitely coming back if staying in Akihabara. Two 24/7 convenient stores just outside and a Starbucks on the 1st floor. Hotel is located from floor 6 to 18 of the building with the train station and some stores in the first 2 floors. Really good and very friendly room cleaning. Asked them to clean my room 1h later when they kindly knocked on the door at 11 and they just nodded and said "yes ok thank you". Massage chair included in my room. Good very nice and spacious bathrooms with rainfall shower with view. Wi-Fi is really fast and stable. Con: ask explicitly to not get a smokers room if a little bit of smell annoys you (smokers rooms seem bigger, so pick ur fights). I hate the smell of cigarettes but if you ask them to quickly deodorize the room for you, you won't really notice the smell as long as the keycard is in the powerbox so the AC is on. Con: kind of stiff mattress, but more comfy then any other hotel I've been to in Japan. They have adapters for foreign powerplugs in the reception for loan. Breakfast (07-1030) in a very friendly cafe named Portal Cafe on the 2nd floor of the building. Not that big of a buffet, but sufficient. A lot of places to eat nearby so could maybe skip this if the add-on is expensive. You can't find a better location in Akihabara.

It's my family's second time staying at Remm Akihabara and we love this hotel. Immaculately clean, stylish, great staff, and excellent rooms. The best beds and shower of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Perfect location just steps away from Akihabara Station, 3 convenience stores, and countless restaurants and shops. Last night we saw a live concert a 10-minute walk from the hotel. I hope to stay here a third time some day.

Strategic Point, a step from the Metro and Jr, highly recommended.

Visited again at year 2018, may. Room still keep clean n tidy, n as well customer service. Wonderful! Strategic location, locate just beside the JR station. Convenient transport from narita airport to hotel. Customer service is good, friendly and useful. The room is small but very comfortable. Clean room. Recommended.

Right in the heart of the Akibara district, just a few steps from the Metro and train stations. Stunning views of the city from the rooms which have a proper space for the hotels of the capital. A good place to stay in the courtyard of his visit to Tokyo.

Convenient location for accessing Akihabara. Rooms are small with not much space for luggage, but they're clean and comfortable. Rooms come with a massage chair, perhaps to make up for lack of a bathtub (a staple in Japanese homes and accommodation). The staff were helpful and spoke English well.

Location was excellent, right next to an underground station where you can get trains using a JR pass and within walking distance of Akihabara electrics town. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy but very very small. The whole room was just a little bigger than the bed. Breakfast was also quite good and had a few japanese options and a couple of western food choices as well so there was a good mix.

Check in and out were fast and easy. Great shower. Breakfast was convenient but food could have been much better for the price. Hassle buying breakfast tickets all but one time in a week's stay, like they never did it before. Lack of pillows and towels (I didn't bother asking for more so some of this is on me. ) I don't like that you can't leave the AC on when you are out of the room so you return tired and hot to a hot room. Elevators are very slow. One only goes down to the sixth floor and one of the other two are often reserved for housekeeping, also you always have to stop on the 6th floor every time regardless of where you are going. I didn't like the construction in the area which has been going on for more than a year, not noisy, but inconvenient for walking to and from the station.

At the center of JR Akihabara Station, you can walk 1 minutes from the station. Take the elevator on the 6 floor to enter the counter, customer service staff is very kind, the English communication is no problem, the counter has tea bags can be obtained, baggage check out can also be parked for a while, the counter also has vending machine selling room bath milk shampoo, if you like to buy home, The room was soundproof and the bed was very good. The bathroom is slightly small, there are shower showers, be careful to shower a start is cold water, and easy to accidentally cut to the shower, the room is not likely to open only a suitcase, the room has free Wi-Fi, massage chairs, TV content rich, free mineral water can be carried out, Someone will clean the room at 10 o ' Day, and if you do not need to clean the door to "do not clean the magnet" or "Do Not Disturb" to the outside, the best part is the very good location, whether it's to go shopping in Akihabara or anywhere else in Tokyo, the JR station metro station is not far away and the first floor has a good Starbucks.

Supreme location at a reasonable price. Rooms maybe old and small, yet a good place for shopper and a Sunday stay.

The room isn’t really big, which is normal in Tokyo, but it is bigger than other hotels. Internet speed is good. Breakfast so so, they don’t have any kind of fruits. It’s 2 minutes from Akihabara station, and there are electric stairs or elevators, which is really good when you are traveling with luggage. If you’re looking for electronics, this is a great hotel to stay at, as you’re just 5 mins walk from the electronics street. The room is tidy and clean and there was no smoke in the room when I entered (thumbs up). They don’t have a mini bar in the room as in other hotels, which I like, so there’s no questioning about whether I took anything from the mini bar. They have a massage chair in the room! I was like “What? ” Awesome! Do I recommend it? Of course I do.

Great views, best location close to shops, metro and lots of food places as well as right in anime and electric town. Hotel well finished and breakfast very good buffe. Only down side is that rooms are very small.

Good clean spacious rooms. Next to Starbucks, 24 hours convenience store. Also next to akohabara station, easy to go by train to anywhere in Tokyo. Bus terminal and taxi stop are nearby. Restaurants, cake shops are abundant. Since it is in akihabara you can shop for electronic goods. Try Portal cafe at noon for their parfait. Its delicious.

Out of all of the hotels I have stayed at in Japan, Remm Akihabara is my favorite. Its location is perfect — just around the corner from Akihabara Station's central gate — so lugging suitcases from the train to the hotel is not a problem at all. It is also right next to the famous "Electric Town" section of the district, so you can easily go back and forth between the hotel and the many stores and restaurants the area is famous for. The staff is friendly and speaks good English, and are happy to accommodate any requests. The room itself feels appropriate for the area, with an iPad available with information about the hotel and other useful info, a much-needed massage chair, and, of course, a wonderful Japanese toilet. The shower was amazing as well, with a high-pressure "rain water" custom faucet that allowed me to experience the most refreshing shower in my life. If and when I visit Japan again, I will make it a point to stay at Remm Akihabara as long as possible. Even if visiting other districts, the Yamanote train line is minutes away, and I can't imagine a more comfortable, reasonably priced hotel in the country.

Great location and great view. But the space is pretty tight and a little far away from Narita Airport. Will like to visit again.

Although the rooms are small by North American standards, it excels in all other areas. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms apart from size are clean and modern. The washroom is fully loaded with essentials in car you forget to pack something like your hair brush. Every floor had a vending machine with a good selection. The bed is super cozy and the pillows combine with it to give you an excellent sleep. I found not reason to complain about anything. I rate it a definite stay.

A very stylish and comfortable hotel conveniently situated moments from Akihabara Station, 3 minutes from Tokyo Station. Small room but exceptionally comfortable bed and incredibly refreshing handheld shower. I was concerned about the seemingly low-powered air conditioning but in 10 minutes the room becomes a comfortable igloo. I just spent 20 minutes in my room's free massage chair which was very relaxing. Great hotel in a great location. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Small room but it's standard Japanese size. Room was very clean and had an amazing shower. They also included a massage chair which was great after a long day of walking. Staff is beyond friendly and really accommodates to your needs. The hotel is also conveniently located to everything you need.

Well located, right at the Akihabara station for this also extremely quiet in the rooms (our room was on the 10th floor). The Peersonal could be a bit of English, but was a bit overwhelmed. Per day there was a bottle of water per person (0.5l). The room in itself a bit small but very comfortable bed and good bathroom with one.

Really cool hotel in a great location if you're visiting Akihabara. The room is one of the smaller ones we've stayed at so far in Japan but it's worth it for the location. Our room had a massage chair too, that was a bonus. Very friendly staff.

The central hotel in Akihabara. Ease of access transport to everywhere in Tokyo. The hotel offer complimentary breakfast is so lovely. Room is small as Tokyo standard but so comfortable. The shower room got premium toiletry and there are sold in the lobby. Happy to stay here again.

Cozy room with great amenities and location.

Really good location, friendly staff, great breakfast, good amenities, decent internet, awesome bedeffective AC and the rooms have a massage chair! The only downsides are that the rooms are quite small, so don't bring larger bags of luggage (there's no closets in the standard rooms), and there is a large glass window separating the bathroom from the rest of the room (there is a curtain though). I'd definitely stay there again!

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. Great location, right in the heart of akihabara with close proximity to the subway and JR station. Rooms are a bit on the small side but that is to be expected in Tokyo.

Clean and nice rooms with a massage chair, tablet, rainfall shower and even pj's! For sleeping. The room is very small though. Barely enough space for luggage but it is nice and modern. The bathroom is the biggest suprise. The bathroom wall is next to the bed and is clear glass. So don't expect any privacy in the room. The hotel staff is very friendly and accomidating to foreign guests. The staff was so helpful I'll give it 5 stars in spite of the small room size.

My wide and I stayed at the double room on the 15th floor. The room was quite spacious considering it is Japan. Also, loved the location of the hotel. The Akihabara station connects to the subway and JR system.

Great lil' hotel in the heart of Akihabara. The rooms may seem a little small to the average American but I found it to be just my size. The random, censored Asian porn was a plus?

The rooms are small, but the bathrooms are great since the showers have two different heads and the always amazing bidet. One bizarre issue — no matter what level you press on the elevator, it will always stop at the 6th floor which is the hotel lobby. It seems like a minor oversight, but it really is annoying if you just want to get to your room. There's no room service since the Remm doesn't have a restaurant, so you'll have the official option of getting breakfast on the 2nd floor at a cafe around the corner in the same building. If you don't mind having curry chicken and juice for breakfast, then this might be the place for you, but I opted to go somewhere else each morning. What the Remm has going for it is location. It's close to transportation and lots of places to eat and shop for electronics you can get just about anywhere else in the world.
