Hotel Brasil Milan Hotel

Just to name a few bad things about this hotel: — I was not informed about the extras I needed to pay (10€ a day for cleaning? Really? ) — It was extremely hot in the room and there was only a Fan working but it was extremely loud — we could ear everything from the street and couldn't sleep with the window open (it's really extremely hot and it was May) — they cancel my booking when I was already in the room and then said it was a mistake but I received this email at 22.00 and had to call my bank to see if something was wrong and because of that I spend a lot of money… Just to discover it was a "mistake" (thanks to that I can not make a review on booking so it was a clever mistake).

Toliet is so close to wall you have to be small person. A lift that says can carry 3 haha. No air con. But room is clean and tidy ; Wi-Fi works ok.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Good location. I strongly reccomend this place for tourists.

Really clean place with good atmosphere in an old building. The street is a little bit louder, but the public transport is nearby.

Old building, there is a lot of noise, charge you 14 euros more to settle. The only advantage it has is that it is a 20 minute walk to the cathedral of Milan.

Location But all in all, just to sleep. I would definitely stay there again. The room is very small, in November it was cold. The man at the front desk did not speak English, only Italian.

All good, except a price increase in terms of towels and sheets that we added without us accepting it in booking. Otherwise the reception was attentive and friendly.

Paid for three people almost a hundred euros. Good for a city hotel. But longer than two nights must not be. It's been very well lived.

Experience to forget. Little cleaning place cramped with detached curtains and wobbly bricks scomodissimi beds and no service. They asked for tax and cost of laundry on site and no bill.
I do not recommend it!

Clean, comfortable room with nice, big beds and a reasonable bathroom. For those travelling on a budget. You'll be amazed with the courtyard in the building!

We took a room with private bathroom and great. Good price and close to downtown.

Excellent location, 20 minutes walk from the Duomo. Very clean and comfortable, in the corner passes the bus 60 that leads to the Central station and to 200 meters the bus 54 that takes you directly to the Duomo. Highly recommended, I would use it again…

The building was a bit old but the place was a nice little corner.

It is Nuuuul the bad game they make the scam cheaters compared to the VAT and the sheets C away from the city center bcp noise the poorly equipped room and small heating does not work in the room just outside (the reception)

Not bad at all for the prize just in the center of milan.

Great for those who want to spend little and do not expect much. The room is small and comfortable but a bit dirty to tell the truth. The bathroom also small but functional, has a fairly large shower enclosure with attached hair dryer and towels. Friendly and helpful staff.

It is in the center of Milan and if you book ahead you can get a good price. When you make the reservation do not include in the price or the service of towels, which has a surcharge of 5 euros per person and day, nor do you include the municipal rates of 2 euros per person and day. The building is very deteriorated but the rooms are spacious, very clean and include complete bathroom, also in very good condition. It is made of less a fridge or mini bar. It is not a good idea to rent a car in this city as there are no car parks and if you get one the price of leaving the vehicle on the street is 20 euros per night, at least in the area where the hotel is.

The place is clean and confortble enough if you stay for a night. It's ok but it's not beautiful or good looking.

At first I like it. The staff was nice, the room looked good for this price in Milano, it seemed clean althogh I found several hairs on the sheets. It's about 30minutes from Duomo. BUT when we were leaving they surprised us with extra fees — 28€ per person per night! We asked them several times on the phone if there is such fees but they said NO. We weren't prepared at all… and after we argue with them it magically turned in 36€ for all of us for the whole time. I am really disappointed by the way they did this. If we were prepared — OK but… they wait for the end. Of your holiday when you are in a hurry and expect you to. Just pay and go. They. Weren't correct with us SO I don't recommend it at all!

Hotel without many pretensions, 1 star positive note: Low price, comfortable beds, air-conditioned room, TV, quite spacious, near the stop of Porta Venezia negative notes: Poorly cleaned sheets, strange flushing noises, window glasses Very thin, malfunctioning shutters. In conclusion, hotel ideal for those who want to spend a night in Milan spending little.

Great Hotel, a bit old but great for business trips. Recommended.

Staff not the most pleasant but correct knowing English speaking, clean room, practical bathroom, pretty well placed (25 min walk from the Duomo). Good value for money!

They make you pay extras like linen and stuff like that just to make more money. Also, room is good but a lot of mosquitos at night. We had an awful night with people making noise in the hall and the checkin area and the mosquitos buzzing around and itching. And it wasn't cheap or well connected to the centre. I can't recommend it, sorry.

Cheap, location is bit out of centrum. Room is large enough.

It difficult for a family to live in an hostel environment that this place provides. The is one toilet for 5 rooms! There is a common microwave oven, and a soft drinks vending machine and free Wi-Fi. The bath area in the dormitories are just a glass cubicle inside the room. For people not used to this, it would be a shock. However the double rooms have a spare bath and toilet attached.

Huge noise, bathroom mediocre, next time I would go to another hotel.

Worst hotel ever, the rooms are in bad conditions, bed was horrible and caused to me back pain, even though it was in a good place/district near to Corso Buenes Aires it was too expensive for the conditions it offered. Also I was requested to pay 28€ extra for the towels use. Some info may say that they serve free​ bed breakfast IT'S NOT TRUE.

Great price considering the location and fact that it is easily accessible from public transport. Friendly staff. A little more cleaning of the sheets would not be spoiled.

Basic accommodation. Can't grumble as it was very clean. The location is quite a walk from the nearest Metro station but there are plenty of buses close by to take you into Milan Central. There are plenty of bars to choose from close by. Staff here were friendly and very helpful.

Good location in the middle of the city.

Pretty decent and a fair price. It's a manageable but not inconsiderable walk from the city centre and train station, so bear that in mind. Rooms were clean and fairly spacious. As a group of 10, we had two rooms of 5: one with a full en suite, one with literally just a translucent shower cubicle in the corner of the room. Being a young group of friends, we found the latter pretty funny and just got on with it, however for the more conservative of you there are more private communal showers across the hallway. I'd booked this hotel for our group and so dealt with the staff, whom on the whole I found to be quite unhelpful and unfriendly. They also hid from me, deliberately or not, the fact that they wanted the tourist tax to be paid in cash: I had no cash on me, so we had to have a whip-round. Not ideal when you're in a rush to catch a train. On the whole though, this is a good hotel at a decent price and is good for travellers.

Beds were reasonably sized, lobby was pretty with all the pictures as you walk in. Lift was small though and the key to our door was really difficult to use.

Only positive low price compared to the other but rather than having a smelly room and own that comes into the room to see the scenery out the window I pay a little more and I enjoy it.
I walked away, I had to pay also the day that I have.

I dont recommend this hotel. When ive called the reception, They nearly speak english and Dont understand what im saying. i wanted to cancel a reserved room, but the guy on the telephone thought I wanted to book a room. the longer I tried to explain what I meant, the angrier he got. at some point, he just hang up the rooms can be good, but the hotel stuff sucks.
