Great hotel to stay with family. Private parking lot is very safe. Cozy courtyard and exceptional outdoor swimming pool.

The building is a short walk from the lake and is the ultimate in comfort! The staff is friendly and helpful, meals are hearty and really good, not to mention the interior, SPA, rooms and bathrooms. A dream in which I would return immediately!

Great location overlooking the lake and great quality/price. There are also many facilities such as the spa and a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the lake. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful the same can not be said for the staff of the Imperialino restaurant who is rude and of little sympathy despite paying a decidedly high price but fair for the quality of the food on offer.

Very nice staff! Amazing location — perfect spot to see all areas of the lake from. They also updated us for our honeymoon and left complimentary bother of prosecco and chocolates.

Very mediocre. Good for a basic hotel but nothing extra. If you can housekeeping for anything it takes them 40 minutes to come if they come at all.

I had lunch at this property as a guest at an event. Everything is perfect. Wonderful and professional staff, courteous is available. Great food! Great wines! Cold and hot aperitifs perfect for the occasion! Beautiful location and lead salon on the lake, a breathtaking view! An unforgettable day!

I was at the hotel restaurant on occasion with a wedding, in a magnificent location right in front of the lake.

You eat incredibly well and the view is amazing.

It’s a 4 Stars Hotel, as a 4 it’s not Perfect. Clean, but there are 02 Bathrooms for 08 monolocales. The breakfast Is supreme. The restaurants around are not cheap… I may say You eill have a lovelly stay, and lots of autorize! 9 for me!

Pleasant Place at the shore of the lake as.

We had an amazing stay. We were greeted by very friendly staff and given a free upgrade on arrival to the villa imperiale. What an amazing room with an amazing view. Absolutely beautiful hotel and the best part is that the boat dock is right outside. Would definitely recommend staying here. Negatives: No iron in the room (but this is standard unfortunately for all hotels in Switzerland and Italy). They do have an ironing room where you can iron your clothes for free of charge.

Very good location. In 5 minutes on the Hong Kong and 20 minutes by boat to Gomo. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Aich the food is plentiful and tastes great.

It also has a private terrace with lake view. The istorante is well run thanks to the very attentive room manager and the professional and tireless waiters.

Vaguely quirky hotel that was somewhat empty when we were staying. Rooms are sizeable but the aircon/heating was virtually impossible to control. Hate it when you pay a lot for a room and then find out that the sauna or steam room is extra to use.

Meters from Lago di Como. A magical place. I was out of season. But the place is wonderful!

We made a dinner and I must say it was not that great. 5 Star probably just the waiters and the building itself. I can't give an opinion on the rooms because I haven't seen them.

It's what you expect from a structure like this: cleanliness, order, punctuality, courtesy, efficiency. We stayed with an 8 month old girl and felt at home.

Luxurious environment and attentive to every detail, competent staff and friendly enough (in a location like this I think is clearly more important than the first aspect), high-level cuisine with quality ingredients, well-manicured dishes, combinations not Exaggravated and perhaps precisely for this reason well-managed.
The costs in my opinion are quite honest if assessed in the context of the whole (only the view can be worth 30% of those).
One punctualization: All those who have reviewed it evaluating the cleanliness of the rooms, the reception and the luggage have not noticed that this is the Account of the restaurant Imperialino and not the Grand Hotel Imperial…?!?!?

You can do what everyone wants, quiet according to the people who at that time attend it. Appearance and pomp of what they have and who you want to point out.

Me and my girlfriend loved this hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful, and the room — or suite I should say was fantastic and had an incredible balcony view of Lake Como. If you're the type of person who stays in 4 star places all the time I'm sure this isn't that special, but if you're the more appreciative type I think you'll be blown away by the place. We will be back!

I attended a professional event at Grand Hotel Imperial celebrating teams attending a football tournament. In the hotel, they organized the aperitif and final dinner. The location is breath-taking, directly on the Lake of Como, with a magnificent view on the water and the other side. The location is facing the swimming pool, and having dinner there is so romantic. The infrastructure is very convenient, including the parking, and personnel is very kind. The environment is mixed: the older part of the hall has a XX Century style, warm and welcoming, while the most recent area is more modern in style. Excellent quality of food, even if ours was a standing dinner.

We were in Lake Como for our wedding and stayed in Grand Hotel Imperiale for a few days afterwards. The service from this hotel was appalling. We had booked three rooms (one we had paid on Expedia and the other two booked through the hotel's website) months in advance. We received an email from the hotel the day before our check in date (and on the day of our wedding) saying that our card pre-authorisation didn't work and if we didn't respond within 2 hours, they would cancel our room. I'm not sure why they would do the pre-authorisation the day before when we had booked this months in advance and only given us 2 hours to respond. Needless to say we didn't respond in time (too busy at our wedding) and our room was cancelled. We called the next morning and managed to get a lower grade room. When we checked in, the woman showing us our 3 rooms told us the one with three beds was the triple and the one with one large one with a sofa was a double. She got this wrong and we didn't know until my in-laws checked out and it turns out they were in the double which means we paid for the triple. The hotel rooms itself were old and dated — certainly not a 4 star hotel. We had recommended that our guests stay in this hotel and I feel terrible for doing so. Based on discussions with those friends, they were really disappointed with the hotel spa facilities and the hotel itself. Would definitely not recommend staying here. There are few options for restaurants in Moltrasio.

Great service, very helpful and nice hotel with great rooms. The spa is small but very nice and relaxing. Great location with pool right on the lake! Would love to come back.

The Hotel looks very well, tidy and clean the guests are immediately greeted by the reception and the porter who took the luggage even from the car!
I loved the room: airy and large with a pleasant terrace the only flaw in the bathroom, in my opinion a little dated, there is a shower closed but a bathtub with the para sketches on one side and there is no shower that is detached and is not the best.
The Spa really nice and intimate and small, the only drawback is paying €20 per person and you can stay only 2h.
Last note garage fee €20 per night.
Stay with arrival Friday evening and departure Sunday double room (at 12 leave the room), price including parking R Spa 600-650 €.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel amenities were incredible. The hotel is just steps from the ferry to all of the other towns in lake Como and is surrounded by great culture and restaurants with an amazing view. There is a grass tennis court, a great spa, and restaurant that are also part of the hotel. Overall a great experience at a reasonable price for the area.

We had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The physical location is beautiful with a wonderful pool on the lake. Grounds are large and well landscaped. Restaurant on the lake has very good food and a world class view. Easy access to the ferry boats. Hotel as a car park and it's an easy drive to Cernobbio and other attractive locations. Hope to come back!

Noisy area, breakfast too expensive. We had breakfast at the Albergo posta next door. The staff was only more friendly.

Some might find it a bit dated, but we loved to old charm and it reminds you of old times grandeur. Fantastic service and we got a beautiful room in the Villa next to the lake. We'll be back!

We stayed here last fall. Room was comfortable with a Lake view. Staff was extremely attentive. Hotel is convenient to the Water Taxi. Planned on a 2 night stay, but liked it so well we stayed an extra night. Room price was reasonable. We had the breakfast buffet each morning and it was exceptional. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Superb location, friendly during dinner but lots of ability to understand the type of people at dinner and the type of event we attended.

Great location, but room that was supposed to be a suite with two separate chambers… Did not have real separation (which defeats the purpose, when traveling with kids).

Cannot best the views. Comfortable and well maintained, staff is very friendly and accommodating to English speakers, and the town is just perfect and not at all crowded.
