Fantastic and right on the lake.

We have just sent three nights in this hotel. It has been a comfortable relaxing and pleasant experience. All staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is fabulous. Best breakfast we have had in Italy. Ferry terminal opposite the hotel an added bonus. Hope to come back one day.

This is a real family owned hotel. A very personal welcome. It is coming home in a warm atmosphere with character and personality. They become rare, this kind of hotels.

We spent two days here recently as part of a large group celebrating an anniversary. Everything about the hotel was terrific. The attention to detail in the room amazing, the atmosphere and food in the restaurant, including breakfast, amongst the best we had in Italy but above all else was the staffs’ friendliness, efficiency and desire to make sure everyone had a great time, both in the hotel and in Como. Loved it!

All our vacations in Italy since 1982 started en finished in this marvelous familyhotel. Very good kitchen, great wines and clean and spacious rooms. Delicious coffee and braekfast with fresh fruit and bacon and eggs, cheese and Italian specialitees. And Chopin, our little Yorkshire was always welcome. For 10 euro your car is save in the protected underground parking! We are still looking to be there back next year. Thanks to Armando, Patricia and the helpfull staff of this little paradise!

Together with my wife, we have spent couple of days in Hotel Posta and it was great! Hotel’s location is perfect if you are looking forward to travel around Lake Como’s surrounding area. It is just couple of minutes away from Como City, less than an hour from Milan and couple of kilometres from Swiss border. On top of that, the hotel itself is located ~50 meters from the shore of the lake and directly in front of it there is a boat pier where tourist’s boats and ships stop regularly. There is also a nice, public beach couple of meters to the side and two nice restaurants. Speaking of food the restaurant in Hotel Posta is awesome! Do not expect to see pizza on the menu, but you will find plenty of great, traditional and local Italian dishes all made in a home&family style. It is delicious, there is a nice selection of wines, and the service is competent, cheerful and helpful. The hotel itself is a family business with the owner running the place and being present every day, keeping an eye on things and cheering guests. There is also an underground parking available. Should you be arriving by car, I recommend you to notify the reception desk. Hotel Posta is a lovely place to stay and dine and we recommend it to everyone who is curious of the beauty of Lake Como.

Accommodation was very pleasant, and the best part was the breakfast to die for. Besides, the restaurant at the hotel, la varanda, was great.

… from Como always recommend it to those who want to enjoy a vacation. Great location, great restaurant ' The Porch ' (typical restaurant and open to the public) which is located on the ground floor of the Hotel, but above all very good personal family style, I like it.

I stayed one night at this Hotel and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
Everything was perfect: just arrived I was welcomed by Mr. Armando, dear, who explained where to park. The first feeling is go into one of those villas direct on the Bank of the Lake, right, in front of the pier.
The room was very nice indeed, attention to detail, in a style quite romantic. Quiet and spacious, the bed allowed me to sleep really well (which is not always happens to me when I travel).
The bathroom was a real treat: I figured I'd have a shower like that in my house, with the Gargoyle largo and a telephone even further down to brush without wetting your hair. I also tried the dinner at the restaurant, eating typical fish of the Lake: yummy, and the service was really excellent.
I will be back.

This place is a little gem of Lake Como. Historian and little one, its beauty lies in making you feel at home while giving you a crazy scene.
The whereabouts is wonderful and capable of all the tranquility that the Lake can offer, while not being too far from most "worldly" and very well attended.
Superb breakfast and comfortable rooms clean.
Great being able to park in the hotel garage that given the area, it's not really an optional common and obvious.
Would come back for sure.

I visited the beautiful Lake Como area last spring, and it was LOVE at first sight. I had the chance to stay at lovely Hotel Posta, which is just in front of the Lake, with an easy access to the ferry that takes you around the Lake. Loved the yummy breakfast: I'm not a morning person, but waking up at dawn, with a lovely view of the Lake from my room, was a real treat. The hotel boasts the good old Italian hospitality: loved the vintage touches of the furniture, and the warm smiles of the staff. The food at the Restaurant was delicious: make sure you try the local fish dishes! I honestly can't wait to go back to it and stay at the Hotel Posta again :-).
