We left as a couple to visit the Eternal City. We were extremely disappointed with our stay.
Positive side: the location!
Negative side: the reserved room (with balcony) was not given to us. Instead we were placed in a room without balcony on the street side. The peculiarity of the rooms on the street side is the presence of a bar just below that is open every night from Monday to Sunday and closes at 5:30. The rooms are soundproof and it is impossible to find sleep. Also in this room an inability to connect to Wi-Fi (too far from the terminal).
The day after this first evening we will complain at the reception. We finally change to a courtyard room with balcony, by the way we were under classified, which is a first for my part. The cleanliness of the room is to be revisited (presence of hair on the bed, a bottle of soap already used in the room). The soundproofing is non-existent, the comings and goings in the hallway will prevent us once again from sleeping (the bass bar below are also heard).
Note that the breakfast is to be taken in this same bar that prevents you from sleeping downstairs, it is very light (a yogurt, biscuits and drink per person). Once on 2, the person in charge of the reception is in this bar, so you will have to pick it up in the bar if you want info.
At our departure, we expect a commercial gesture not to have given us the right room and to have us under classified. We won't have anything.
