Stayed here for it's close proximity to the bus for catching a super early flight. It's walking distance from the train station and really close to the water taxi for getting around. The hotel itself was nice and felt very Italian. The only thing I didn't like was there lack of a shower curtain. Water would splash everywhere on the floor.

Ideal situation at 2 steps um! 2 bridges from the bus station.
At the carefour of two canals very lively during the day and very quiet at night.

Loved this marvel. Very close to the train station. Amazing staff! Mr Frenchesco at the reception was very warm and friendly. Got a room 2 hours before the check-in time which was a huge help for us.
If the hotel lacks in anything, the staff make up for it.

Great place to stay and not that far of a walk from train station. Hotel rooms are a little small, but hey, what do you expect from an old hotel. It was perfect for us. Hotel is right next to gondola dock. Sam and Kathy Olivares visiting Venice, Italy from Houston, Texas. Make sure you ask hotel for their free boat ride to Murano Island, but you have to pay for your ride back.

A cozy and cute hotel, well located… close to the train station and water bus stops. The rooms were small, but clean and decent. The canal view from the quad room was beautiful. Breakfast was decent, but there could have been more options. The best part of our stay was the Marco, at the reception. He greeted us with a smile and helped us with directions to different places. Highly recommended place. Go for it!

The hotel was just as advertised and the price was great too. It's very close to the bus and train stations as well as the vaporetto pickup. The breakfast for 1€ is worth it. It had pastries, eggs, fruits, meats and cheese as well as espresso and other drinks (water, oj, etc. ). The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

This place exceeded my expectations. It was clean and cozy. If I ever visit Venice again, I will surly book again. Breakfast was super good too! Be there early! Breakfast bar gets packed real fast because it’s small.

Convenient if you have an early bus or train, otherwise avoid. The room smelled off, the shower wasn't clean and the bed wasn't comfortable.

Lovely cozy hotel with a good view of the Venetian canal from rooms. Mr. Daniel & marco at the reception were very friendly n polite. We got a decent room with a canal view. The breakfast is minimal but high on quality & pricing. At 3 euros per person per day; we both, had a sumptuous breakfast. Rana at the breakfast counter was friendly n helpful to offer us things on request. Overall our 3 nights at this hotel was pleasant.

I was there for business reasons, so I can not judge the quality of the services offered by the hotel, I can only say that at the level of finishes I like, resume very style of 1500 about.

Bad impression of the hotel, it's true. Being in Venice a bit ' you expect to be chickens to pluck and this hotel does it great.
Booked a room with a non refundable formula for the night of Monday, December 11th (it is good to specify free rooms everywhere for a Monday evening), for the sudden snowfall and inhabiting the hill in the morning warning the hotel that for road problem I can not Reach Venice in the evening as planned. Being a non refundable reservation I only ask if you can possibly have a voucher also partial/symbolic to use for the next booking… after a week of pulling and spring waiting for the director I am told that you can not the Change of date. I repeat that I do not expect a date change or a refund but only a minimum sign of attention to a customer. I haven't even had an answer.
When the disaffection to the customer comes directly from the direction who knows what will ever reserve the rest.

16th century Venetian house converted to a hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, good rooms, and great location for getting and from the cruise port and taxi drop.

Convenient transportation, go out for two minutes is the Roman square can take the bus to the airport. We live in the 4 room, in the roof elevator can not reach the place, need to carry the box up the stairs. Room facilities are good, but also clean and tidy, the only flaw is the bathroom in the roof slanting down that piece, the bath is not very convenient, the water will splash out of the bathtub flow to the ground, and no exhaust gas exhaust fan.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Very nice room. Weird that there is no shower curtain on the shower, not even a place for it so it's not like it was missing. Also only one key for the room so if one person goes out alone the other person needs to stay awake to let them into the room. But overall it was a nice place to stay.

Beautiful location, right on the main canal and a couple side canals, with beautiful views. For example: the three connected bridges next to it. At the service desk, Francesco helped us a lot, giving us directions, recommendations, and even discounts. Beautiful, but small, rooms as well.

Small, but nice rooms. Three of us shared a triple room… which was crowded! Bathroom so small you don't have room to turn around, and no shower curtain so the floor gets wet. Breakfast buffet included that was very nice. Excellent location for everything.

Small and elegant Hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff Clean and well appointed rooms. Excellent hygiene. Simple Breakfast with some packaged product but for 3 euros I think it is justified. It's the only point that would anyway. The hotel is very near Piazzale Roma point of arrival of trains, buses and every means to reach the center. It is also placed on two channels so the rooms have a pleasant view. Piazza San Marco is about 30 minutes on foot, and walking in the centre of Venice is a real pleasure!

We had a beautiful room overlooking the canal, perfect location with restaurants any minutes walk away. One in the same building. The staff were fantastic and very helpful during our two night stay while waiting to board our cruise. The only caution is if arriving by train there are a number of bridges with steps to cross the canals, a real challenge with heavy cases. If you are not fit I suggest having your cases picked up at the station and delivered by barge to the hotel, or take a water taxi.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Rooms are decent size, hotel right on the corner of 2 canals. Small cafe and restaurant down the way. Very close to bus station and only slightly further to the train. InIn vicinity of many restaurants, cafes and gelaterias. Overall would definitely recommend.

Bonkers and brilliant! No bar or restaurant and a bath you could not drown a mouse in BUT, who cares, when their sister hotel is next door and Marco pours the best prosecco in the business. Now the good bit. I have stayed in many hotels but never been looked after like here. Francesco is the best concierge I have ever come across. Friendly and helpful but not in your face. Came here for 4 days.

Decently sized rooms. Great staff. Easy access to airport, trains, boats, and cruise terminal. The people mover will take you from the cruise terminal for €1.50 to Piazzale Roma which is where the airport busses and boats are and basically borders the hotel. The trains are over the Grand Canal and maybe a 5 minute walk or one water bus stop. Comparatively cheap food at the vendors at the end of the area. Be aware that the public bathrooms (WC) in Venice cost €1.50 and only take change. There are a few stairs to get to the hotel because of the canals. There is 110v in the bathroom. A mini-fridge with free water. Free Wi-Fi. The only real downside is that there was now shower curtain. Not sure if that is normal there, but there was a drain on the bathroom floor so it isn't a big deal if you get the floor wet. Looks like the hotel is aligned with the Best Western Hotel Olimpia next door.

Location and friendliness the strengths of the structure.

The room was somewhat small, but the service was friendly, and the breakfast was free and delicious.

We spend 200 euros, room are small and old, in a small room to eat ordinary breakfast, drinking bad coffee. But the Canal landscape is very beautiful. We need a place from parking within hundreds of meters, and this location is really convenient. However, a bit noisy at night, if you don't mind lugging suitcases around, on his way to the city center, I think you can find a better value for money hotel. But the staff was really friendly, no reservation problem even if our children require additional mattress.

Very small front desk area, but our room was spacious and the air conditioner was just what we needed after a very hot and humid day. Irene at the desk is very attentive, the breakfast staff was efficient. Cleaning staff also very efficient. Wi-Fi is good. Location is ideal for transportation, very good starting point for our two day stay.

Very good location for who likes walking clean, and good price. Close to the railway station and the bus to the airport.

We booked a room here, but the hotel is currently being remodeled. However, I am giving it 5 stars because of the friendly service of the man at the desk who arranged a wonderful room for us at the Hotel Olimpia next door. The hotel itself could not be more convienent to the Pza Roma, where the people mover lets off from the cruise terminal. It is the closest hotel from what I could see. The bridge was not bad at all, but we had large backpacks and travel light. It is a very short walk to the train station too. The Hotel Arlecchino receptionist also arranged an early morning trip to Murano for us upon our early arrival. Thank you for a warm welcome to Venice.

Very good location, near the railway station and of the Rome square, place where converge the buses, as well as also the mooring of the vaporetto.
The hotel itself is impeccable, very good breakfast, excellent and soon to support thematic tourist, very tidy and clean.

My mother and I stayed here in November of last year and enjoyed it very much. The staff was very helpful and it was very conveniently located. I have to say, it was difficult getting the mass amount of luggage over the two bridged from the bus terminal to the hotel, but would have been much more difficult if it were located ANYWHERE else. Althought the room was fairly small for US standards, for European standards I think it is about average size. The bathroom was fairly large and had good water pressure. Everything was clean and well kept. The best part was the fact that we had a balcony that over looked the bus terminal. This building even had an elevator, which I understnad that some of the smaller hotels lack. It was very small, but large enough to carry our bags up. We couldn't ride with them, but none the less. We didn't have to carry them up to the 4th floor. The staff was very accommadating in regards to holding our baggage for us on the day of checkout, before we headed over to the ship. This is an excellent location for cruisers coming in a day or two early. If you are looking for a hotel near St Marks or close to the Pont de Vecchio, it is not as convenient. We were able to walk to the Square but it took a while to find it. We had never been to Venice before, which accounts for that. We didn't eat in the restaurant there, but if the others say that it was good, I would go for it. I found it difficult to find food in Venice with the flavor I was hoping for.
