Great room — friendly staff — really good location — just wonderful.

Went to the most wonderful wedding reception here. They food and wine was amazing and the staff were very attentive. All set in the most beautiful rose gardens right on the canal.

It is a hotel full of charm! Cosy, clean, exquisite service… Spacious, comfortable, very complete rooms… Just fantastic… an Italian palace from the 16th century, converted into a hotel with charming gardens in which you can taste a very full and rich breakfast, varied with views of the canal. Beautiful, it transports you to ancient times, full of magic and mystery…

Very well placed hotel along the Grand Canal. The staff is welcoming, caring and takes care of the guests. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need. Breakfast is so. I would recommend this hotel without any problem.

Kindness and sensitivity to the customer. Seen on display in the hotel an authentic old Chinese bed… conference room, convenient location and accessible from the train station and from Piazzale Roma… lovely bar on the ground floor, the garden and in general the whole environment…

We were a few years ago and in quality/price is a Grandisimo hotel to enjoy the best city in the world as it is Venice, very well located to the canals, restaurants and cafes, no doubt I recommend, to put some paste would put the rate you have to pay in Italy of 7 euros in all hotels, but it is a lesser evil, all load dictionaries.

My newly husband and I checked in yesterday for a 4nights stay. We booked a deluxe room but. The room 208 was beautiful but infested with insects and lices crawling on the bed, pilow and matress. When we went back To the reception desk to complain and showed the videos the desk assistant gave us another room for the night. He also said the insects were grom rhe garden because they left the windows opened. What a lie it was clearly not that. This morning we follow his advise and went to the reception desk. The lady was aware of the situation told us the room 208 was now closed. We dis mention to her thaï we booked a deluxe and not a standard room and therefore would like another room. She gave us another standard room but this time pretending it was a junior suite. Juste unbeliveable. Do not go to this hotel! The breakfast staff was very nice though but the food is too limited or à very poor quality. Contact me for videos and more photos.

Superb 4 star hotel, the style of the hotel is fabulous for a romantic stay in Venice (it was the first time for me, so it was great with this hotel), the staff is very friendly, small hotel of 22 rooms, so the service is personalized, hotel With a certain friendly and family spirit.
The rooms are very property… nothing to complain about, the hotel is very charming period, with period decoration. It is the former Casa nigra, a poet and political scientist ambassador called Costantino Nigra.
The particular Venetian mansion dates from the 18th century, the outdoor gardens are splendid… to try in spring or summer to have breakfast at the edge of the Grand Canal with the Rose Garden… it must be very romantic! A stay to be renewed in the month of May/June… In a nutshell a stay PERFECTO!

I wanted to really like this place. It is super cute from the outside and the gardens but my room had no effort put into it. I get I was in a single but some inexpensive sprucing up would greatly improve the experience. Like maybe replace the worn out off white bed cover with a colored one. Or one just less worn out. The stones under my shower were loose and needed some resetting. They really should lower the small TV too, it’s at the height of the door frame! A bit comical. The receptionist was not helpful at all and told me to go to Magnum, the corporate ice cream place, to eat. Really?! There’s 100s of restaurants in Venice and you send me there? Obviously I ignored her and just went wandering, finishing a cafe with a good breakfast and lovely environment less than 5 minutes away. Pluses: real espresso at breakfast, the views, quiet, convenient to train station, walking or taking the bus-boats (blanking on the Italian name) is not too bad.

Stayed here recently to visit a few friends in Venice, great hotel, I'd stay again in the future.

A very good hotel very well located with a great garden on the Grand Canal — one of the few. Room excellent with plenty of room and a stylish bathroom. Food was very good and reception staff outstanding. Would recommend for a short or longer stay and will return Thanks.

It was very close to the station and the staff were very helpful.

Nice and quiet hotel, very good concierge service. I suggest you visit Murano. There is just enough to make a coffee or tea in the room.

Negativissima experience. I spent too much, unfriendly and unprofessional, cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Don't think I'll come back again.

Last year during February stayed there. Loved the place and nice views.

It's a different hotel in Venice. Convenient as close to the train station but it also transports you to the full in the Venetian atmosphere more intriguing. 22 Suites well catered for, with exotic antiques furniture. Garden facing the Canal. Also suitable for weddings.

Excellent location for a romantic weekend in Venice
Staff very friendly and helpful in meet the demands of us guests, such as the Council for the excellent restaurant proposed for the evening.
The room we booked was the Superior Junior Suite, well maintained and very clean.
Average price for a four star hotel.
Certainly recommended for audiences who seeks the "treat" in this wonderful city.
We will definitely be returning in the spring, where you can appreciate their flower gardens and you can have breakfast overlooking the Grand Canal, amongst the roses.

Excellent location, walking distance from the train station and from Piazzale Roma. Overlooking the Grand Canal has an amazing flower garden, where you can SIP an aperitif and watch the gondolas sail, for maximum relaxation.
The suites, all different, are stunning, particularly the most luxurious has a panoramic view over the Canal through a small terrace which looks like Romeo and Juliet. Intimate and cozy. A true idilio for the heart.
The apartments offer a beautiful view on the passage of the Venice Historical Regatta.
