This is our first stay at the Kette Hotel. We love it! Quiet! Five minute walk from San Marco Square. Beautiful old building and friendly, helpful staff!

Great little hotel very close to St Mark’s Square and lots of restaurants, shops etc nearby to choose from. Staff are very friendly and helpful and our room is very comfortable and clean.

Not the usual modern clinical look which is a great thing. Excellent location in Venice and you can hear the gondoliers singing as they're rowing on the canals.

Very well located a few steps from San Marco Square, the hotel is clean, the staff are very nice and friendly. He speaks French pretty well. You're a good person. Breakfast is hearty and diverse. Lack scrambled eggs.

The staff are courteous, kind and ready to meet the needs of the guests (e. G. If it rains they give you the umbrella). Rich intercontinental breakfast and well-maintained rooms equipped with all the comforts. If you are lucky maybe you could take a room on the side channel from which gondolieri pass.

Was such a lovely place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. They always looked so smart. Easy to get around the city from there. Would recommend it and hopefully one day we will be back.

A very well placed hotel in the heart of Venice, 2 steps from Piazza San Marco. The Canal and its vaporettos is not far. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The reception staff is at your disposal and offers you many helpful tips to get around at the best cost. If you want to take a taxi boat, do not hesitate to order it at the reception, taxis that work with hotels apply reasonable rates. The rooms are spacious enough with a TV that offers French channels. The décor of the room is very "Venetian". It's not my style but it's the norm here. The bathroom is well equipped. A good address.

Amazing experience in Venice. Perfect for couples! Nice complimentary breakfast, AC, Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. A tourist's dream!

The perfect place to stay in Venice! Close to San Marcos Square and all the shopping. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the 5th floor was fantastic. The lack of air conditioning in the summer could be uncomfortable but with the window open and a nice breeze, the room was perfect in the spring time. Breakfast was simple but delicious as well and the front desk staff was helpful and accommodating. We loved this place and will definitely be back.

Our hotel in Venice; We came there more than 10 years ago and we went back this year: TJs as well. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was very good. Very good value for money. We hope to return as soon as possible.

Nice room we had the right to a private boat offered by the hotel to bring us to Murano magnificent private exit a big thanks to the staff for everything.

Fabulous hotel and very helpful, courteous and polite staff. We arrived via a private taxi transfer, direct to the hotel’s private landing. The hotel quoted 380 euros return but I found a less expensive agency, for approximately £230 return. It was a seamless experience and the only way to arrive in Venice, expensive but well worth the memory, just bite your lip and pay it! It’s only money! Very close to Piazza San Marco and central for all the major sites. Turn left to St …Mark’s and turn right for Accademia. We had a 3 night stay in a superior room on the 4th floor overlooking the canal. It was clean and comfortable and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job providing clean bedding, towels and toiletries. The bath and shower worked well and the water was piping hot. The gondolas passed by our room and sometimes accompanied by an accordion and a song! Just wonderful, you could not make it up! The breakfast service is serviceable, a small room with a central station housing croissants, pastries, bread rolls, cheeses, cold meats, boiled eggs, cereals, fruit and a selection of juices, jams and spreads. The coffee and frothy warm milk is excellent, served in clean and white cups & saucers. A very slow toast machine on the bar… take a coffee with you (possibly a brandy too, it’s that slow and needs two rounds)! We were celebrating a birthday and received a complimentary bottle of fizz in our room, on arrival. A lovely and thoughtful touch.

The hotel is a small palace is beautiful! It is super luxurious, the Lobby and reception. The rooms are very nice and, in general, are clean, although we note that they are old and everything has a lot of use. The views of the majority of the rooms are on the canal. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It has an excellent location, though, as all hotel in Venice, you must go with luggage in tow and from San Marco (Boat stop) to the hotel crossing a bridge with stairs… So, to take it into account, patience and strength.

Great location, excellent service. Nice old school charm. Breakfast is included for all rooms and it is well done. Tax is additional — even if your booking site said it was included. Minus for a safe that didn't work. Big minus for poor heating that would not shut off, and yes I do know how to use a thermostat.

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk from the San Marco vaporetto stops, and the piazza itself. The gondola traffic below our window was heavy, so we got some free concerts during our stay. Nice selection of foods at breakfast, though the dining room was a bit cramped. Overall, happy with my stay.

Premium location. Short walk to the St Mark's square. But the hotel is located in a quiet inner street. Slow Wifi.

A well-located Hotel in the centre of Venice; View of the canals, theater nearby, the area is very quiet. The staff at the front desk are helpful and attentive.
The breakfast buffet is minimalist, the service is efficient. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are nearby.
We had 2 rooms (133 and 134) The décor is a bit dated and deserves a facelift but it's charming, alright with the Venetian ambience…
The bathroom is very clean. The mini bar is well supplied.
Television is a small flat screen of old generation and no international programming.
Good Hotel Overall if you prefer the central location rather than the comfort of the room.

Nice place, friendly staff, good breakfast, good location to st Marc square. Rooms are not big, but clean, beds comfortable, but about 18" high.

Nice and friendly staff and great location. However, the hotel is old fashioned and even if you request a queen size bed it is two single beds pushed together. Breakfast is ok but nothing special.

The hotel has been his best times behind him. Much is quite worn out and you will not necessarily look in every corner. For the price it offers but a very good location and a very good equipment.

When we arrived at the hotel the man at the check in counter seemed annoyed but was trying his hardest to be friendly. He was upset that we were traveling with a baby who wasn't listed on the reservation (I wasn't able to list him as a guest on the booking site as he is 1 year old). The concierge was incredible — reminded me of Grand Budapest Hotel — very quick to take bags and show you to your room but very quiet and friendly. The room looked old but we had a great view of the canal. Bedding felt used and dirty though I'm sure it had been cleaned. Great location. Breakfast was a pretty good buffet. Overpriced for what you get.

Hotel very well located home perfect breakfast adapted a bit small room big silence at night in all j liked.

We stayed here on the 5th of February — our room was beautiful and had a great view of the canal — there is no a/c in the winter months — luckily we were able to open the window for fresh air and a cool breeze — the staff was very nice and the location was prefect — minutes from San Marco Square — wonderful shops and delicious food I gave it 4 stars because the mattress is flat and hard — they could do better and get new mattresses.

Overpriced and over rated — tiny bar dining room can get crowded a cold continental breakfast so if you are looking for a full breakfast buffet forget it, small rooms, bathroom small lift wouldn't fit more than 2 people at a time. Venue does not cater in anyway for disabled people in wheelchairs. Only good aspect was that staff were friendly and generally helpful.

Average Hotel, no tea and coffee making facilities in room, we had to have air con looked at as not working properly. Water in bathroom only ever lukewarm but this was not too much of a problem as 33 degrees outside. Room could have done with a revamp, a little tired looking. Front desk staff helpful, and very polite, breakfast plentyfull but breakfast room very small so could get crowded.

Small hotel, a fair bit to 4 stars, but the situation is ideal to visit the centre of venice, 2 minutes from san marco square. The best thing is the peace of mind for the night.

Kette hotel was well situated for main sights and easy to find. Decor was slightly tired but hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were pleasant and very helpful and as we had been given twin beds instead of a double — which incidentally they dont have! they agreed to make up the beds as doubles immediately. Rooms were a bit cramped and poorly laid out but we only used this as a base anyway so didnt plan spending lots of time in them. No provision in rooms for tea and coffee making and prices in bar were steep but in line with other bars in this area of venice. Breakfast was plentiful but no hot option available.
