One of the friendliest hotels I have ever been allowed to visit. Best location. Quiet rooms. Super nice staff breakfast was terrific. 2 walked to Marcus Square.

No service, no client focus. Absolutely don’t recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation to Venice. It was located in a great spot, extremely close to St. Mark’s. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable, and our experience was 5 star. Thank you Hotel Montecarlo Venezia for providing us a great place to lay down at night.

Wonderful hotel and staff clean rooms and bedding each day plenty of hot water from a powerful shower. Complementary afternoon tea which was absolutely scrummy wonderful cooked and continental breakfast in abundance 2 minutes from St Mark's Square shops and restaurants adjacent to the hotel complementary trip to the island of Murano. The staff there did everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. This is a brilliant hotel and location I cannot recommend it highly enough. If we ever go back to Venice then this would be our first choice of hotel to stay at.

Beautiful hotel steps from San Marco basilica. Excellent fresh breakfast with different choices every day. Afternoon tea and treats in the afternoon. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

A bit old fashioned. The rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear noise from the street. The first employee we met at the reception desk was really weird.

Great hotel, service of quality, services included in the price like the boat — taxi that takes you on Murano directly to the glassware, or that picks you up on your arrival on request and that will drive you to the bus station to reach The airport. The staff were extremely friendly.

Excellent in every sense of the word. Service and exquisite kindness on the part of all the employees of the hotel. The location is perfect as it is just a few metres from St. Mark's Square.
As a detail add that the hotel offers "tea time" 16.00 h to 18.00 h A service of buffet tea and coffee (and sweets to accompany) without hesitation I recommend place and will return on our next visit to Venice.

We really enjoyed the afternoon tea and the wide choice of selection on the breakfast buffet. Our room was spacious and well furnished and was a comfortable base for our stay. Very well located REALLY 4star hotel with nice staff. They take care of details, setting bed and tables as it should be. Nice and neat environment, polite workers. Big variety of delicious breakfast. Afternoon tea is a great idea, and gives something extra to guests. English language to improve, but enjoyed time there and would recommend!

It has an excellent location, the entrance to the ground, no pier, two minutes walking to the cathedral of San Marcos, Ducal Palace, Campanile and the column with the lion. Very well connected by vaporetto, water taxi, gondolas, etc. A very good breakfast buffet included in the price, spacious room and very comfortable.

Very central Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Right breakfast. Expedia's contracted room was very small. A major and overlooking the street meant a supplement of €20/night. Recommended.

Very recommendable hotel in the middle of Venice. Only 100 meters from St. Mark's Square and good value for money. The breakfast buffet is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. The superior room is very spacious and our (room 308) had a large bathroom. When booking online, it is only necessary to concoct at 14:00. The staff is very friendly and so the Montecarlo can only be recommended!

The totally French dining room gives pleasure to contemplate the details… the Super Breakfast.

Fantastic hotel… the staff are just wonderful and so helpful. Very central location and they organised a private taxi to collect us from the airport and deliver us close to the hotel and sent a porter to pick us up and our luggage and walked us the short walk to the hotel. Very comfy bed, double glazed windows so very quiet. Toiletries in the bathroom, safe, hairdryer… TV and iPod docking station in the bedroom and loads of hanging space and drawers etc.
Amazing breakfast and free afternoon tea with cakes and ice cream… highly recommmended…

Com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around… We stayed at the 6-person apartment, it was super. The apartment was very warm as we came during the winter, and very well located as well (few steps to San Marco). The apartment is well equipped, we cook several times during our stay. It's definitely a positive recommendation.

It was a very noisy hotel. Ask for a room in the highest floors and away from the elevator.

Great location in San Marco, just a few blocks from the main square. Room is a decent size, and has AC and tea and coffee facilities. Would stay here again.

I was very disappointed with the personal treatment. No complaints in regards to the hotel and everything to do with restraint, but we had a very unpleasant experience. We decided to stay one more day so breakfast ask at reception if there is problem of rooms, we were told that in principle there was no problem, without specify anything else. After breakfast we made the reservation by Booking. The surprise came when the next day to leave us to do we pay for two rooms the reserved by Booking and the second by the commitment that as we were told we acquired to ask if there was possibility to stay one more day. On your own reserved us a room that does not occupy or hold anyone.
The justification that we gave is that not might give you output to that room, when that night nor much less was the hotel full.
I didn't like the little flexibility and understanding that had a situation that was little more than a lack of understanding. I had to pay €180 for a room that does not occupy, which taking into account that we had previously been a group of 6 people for 3 nights I think a lack of sensitivity and personal touch.
For this reason when you return to Venice, I think back, I will not raise me returning to this hotel, I do not recommend it for that to any incident put the economic gain to common sense and to the well-being of the client.

Very nice hotel, luxurious, but shame on 4 nights past on place two with an annoying noise coming from some sort of air conditioning, impossible to change rooms because full. Otherwise lovely, more than ample breakfast.

Room was comfortable and neat clean. The staff was amazing, helpful and caring. Breakfast was nice, especially the prosecco was classy! They gave advices for tours, restaurants and stores.

The hotel is stone throw away from san marco square and walking distance from rialto bridge which is where you would like to be. The rooms are nowhere lile promised on the websites… the rooms are very crMped especially the washrooms… Only a dwarf can use them and I can bet noone can sit or fit on to the pot in the loo. As it is pushed in a corner of a very small bathroom… Someone must have lost their marbles to design it this way… There is no charging point in the room except disconnect the TV n use it as charging point… And sound proof my ass… you can hear all sounds in and out of rooms and walls… Wish I hadnt booked this place. Very dissapointed.

We really liked this hotel. The rooms were fairly tight — no extra space. I loved the design of the bathrooms. Wifi in our room was outstanding. We could almost stream video. And it's location is tough to beat. It is a little more than 100 meters from Piazza San Marco. The front desk was friendly and very capable with English. My one concern is security. They request that you turn in your key when you go out. They do not check ID when you return and ask for your key, so, theoretically, anyone could get your key. Best advice — book this hotel, but lock your valuables in the safe in the room.
