Hotel 1 star. Good breakfast with wide choice. Clean room, though a bit dated. Value for money in the average Venice. The staff were very helpful. Great location.

Location was nice and quiet on a canal. Rooms were nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The Windows did not satisfy me, toilets not easy, no bidet and Czechs. Too many stairs and no lift if I saw well… Everything else very satisfied. Bored blankets, maybe an isolated case, the room is pretty.

Its a good hotel to stay. They have very good rooms at lower cost but comfortable enough. Rooms are narrow as that is common in Venice. Washrooms even narrower than normal but still reasonable place to stay in the most expensive city of the world.

I stayed here from 6 to 9/04/2018 with my boyfriend. We had a great time, better than what we expected. The cleanliness and the location are the real potential; The staff not always accommodating but nothing to complain about, they kept our suitcases even after we checked in. Breakfast Wi-Fi Perfect. Highly recommended, we will be back.

We chose this hotel for our stay in Venice, and repetiríamos it without hesitation. The hotel is perfectly located, very close to St. Mark's Square (less than 5 minutes). Around the hotel you have plenty of places to eat, shop and have a drink. Very close to the Dal'moros (pasta site for take away from a must visit).
The room we booked was with bathroom, and nothing had to envy a 3 star hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff is super attentive and polite (they speak several languages and help you in everything you ask) and the breakfast is perfect (it doesn't have much choice, but you don't need it because what it has is delicious). Special mention for the croissants that put you just sit down.
We were in two rooms (the 15th and the 3rd) and both were very nice (the bathroom of the 15th we liked more).
The only downside I would put is that it has no elevator.

Locanda Silva is very close to Piazza San Marco (5 minutes on foot) and to the Vaporetto stop for Lido, Murano, Burano or other smaller islands.
Cleanliness, courtesy, availability and friendliness make this small hotel a nice starting point for a visit to the city or the Venetian lagoon.
Also recommended during the carnival period for the central location.

Kind if Hard to arrive from the train station. Good ti spend one night. Close their doors at 3AM.

Following a 20-day cruise I had the pleasure of staying at Locanda Silva. It is only a 6 minutes walk from San Marcos square. When I entered this small hotel, I knew it was something special. The host were very friendly. Although I arrived early in the morning, they had a room ready. I was also in time for breakfast and the breakfast room is wonderful! The rooms are small but nice, and well-appointed. I recommended this hotel a whole heartedly. The pricing is quite reasonable, and, you can walk in several directions once leaving the hotel.
