Suite (studio with seating area) was spacious and roomy. We had multiple small issues, but they were resolved speedily, all except one, which was not directly the hotel's fault. Breakfast was good and ends at 10am. We came from the cruise terminal and did our laundry at the hotel. There is an area shuttle and an airport shuttle, which is convenient. We were tired, and did not use the area shuttle. We just ordered meals delivered. Honesty of cleaning staff: The staff member who took my husband's partial $10 roll of quarters (mistakenly left on top of the guest laundry washing machine) eventually returned it, after we had asked the hotel about it. He knocked on our room door and returned to us an envelope with our room number and $5 written on it. He said he was the one who found the used roll of quarters, and his supervisor said he had to return it. The problem was, there was $5.50 left of the roll, while the envelope only contained $4 in quarters. Anyway, we didn't bring it up again because we only opened the envelope later at night. The guest laundry is only accessible by keycard. Nobody else was doing laundry at the time since we had checked in early at about noon, and actual check in began at 3pm. The fault lies with my husband, who forgot the quarters, and it's a small matter, but we did have to change another $5 between the time of the theft and the return of the coins in order to finish our laundry.

I was only in town for an evening — — but this Hampton is beautiful! Very attentive staff! Very convenient to TPA and the (free) shuttle is extraordinarily efficient.

I like Hampton Inn for short term stays. They tend to keep a consistency among their hotels. Hot breakfast (included) is always convenient.

The hotel is in a great location for anywhere you want to be while in the Tampa area. The hotel is clean, quiet, and very nice. You need a key to access the guest floors by elevator. The parking garage used to be accessed by room key but now it is open parking and shares space with a car rental agency and patron from WOB so it is always very hard to find parking on the lower levels. The biggest complaint about this hotel is that I have stayed here often and eventhough the breakfast us complimentary, it lack variety. Same options every morning of every stay. Watery eggs are yucky!

My stay at this hotel was great! Staff was very pleasant and accommodating and our room was ready as soon as we arrived. Room was on the 4th floor facing Laser Spine building. Room was clean and fresh smelling (not stale like some hotels), up to date and modern (NEW! ) and beds were very comfy. I would definitely stay here again!

Best airport hotel I've ever stayed at. Exceptionally clean, great staff, good complimentary breakfast. Our room (2 queens + sofa bed) was very spacious. Surprisingly so. Free airport shuttle, and free parking. Nice outdoor pool & patio.

I stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites Tampa for a business meeting for 2 nights. From when you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and the check in process was quick and easy. A quick glance around shows you the breakfast area/common room and a little "pantry" of snacks and drinks you can get that is charged directly to your card on file, but it's a very reasonable price and not over inflated. The elevators are cozy and comfortable to ride in. When you get to the room it gets even better! You've got a nice cozy bed, a desk for all your writing needs, a large TV for some wind down time, and last but not least, the bathroom. The bathroom is simply gorgeous and amazing, but the best part is the little sign they place. I'm sure I'm not the only person who forgot to pack a toiletry of some kind when traveling and it's utterly frustrating. They have a sign there that says if you forgot something to reach out to the front desk and they will give you a complimentary replacement free of charge. This is a super h a relief and eases so much stress that I found that such a simple message could make my life easier. To wrap up, if you are deciding on visiting Tampa, definitely consider Hampton Inn and Suites.

Really enjoyed our over night stay. Wonderful staff. Great free breakfast. Coffee and tea always available in the lobby. Will stay there again.

The room was large enough for 2 people and very well kept. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up the space, and the desk attendant handled a big late night (past midnight) check-in crowd by herself. The continental breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at any hotel.

The appeal and look of the hotel is nice, modern and updated. Closely located to airport, shops and restaurants. Clean room and faculties though I noticed sinuses getting irritated and the minute I left the were back to normal. So, not quiet sure on the quality of air. Otherwise I give this location a thumbs up.

The king sized room with the accessible shower was great. I usually don't request housekeeping when I stay less than 4 days. They provided enough towels for my full stay. On my check out day, while checking the room to ensure I had everything, I found a previous guest's slippers under the bed. So, housekeeping needs to step up their game a bit. I had a great stay and would recommend to friends.

Great location for hockey trip Here for Thurs and Sat hockey games. Great location. Walked home once from games stopping at a bar along the way. Lots of bars nearby in ybor. Took ubers, trolley, and walked everywhere necessary. Room was nice with a king and pull out. Pull out want very comfortable. Nice to have fridge, microwave, second sink in suite. Staff was nice, though didn't need them much. Good breakfast with daily variety and lady putting out food and helping clean was extra accommodating and friendly.

Very modern. A very impressive room. Nice views of the runway. The breakfast was a lot better than most hotel breakfasts. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location if your looking to stay near the airport. Plenty dining options. Breakfast could be better. Very nice big spacious rooms.

Had a class there, used conference room. I wanted a Coke for lunch. Was told there were no vending machines, but could buy one at front desk. 16 oz Coke =$3.85! Woah. Will stick to water if there is a next time. No wonder they don't have vending machines. Not right! On the upside, conference room was nice.

An upscale, newer Hampton Inn & Suites — — the rooms are definitely nicer than other Hampton Inns I have encountered. Lobby area is nothing special and it combines the dining area with the "hangin' out area. But the rooms are tastefully decorated in sophisticated tones of silver, grey and taupe. Room furnishings are thoughtful and the walk-in shower more than roomy enough for two. Situated right across from Tampa airport, the hotel provides a 24 hour on demand shuttle. The shuttle is shared by several hotels and a parking garage, so just be aware that the sign on the shuttle displays the parking garage's name in jumbo letters, while the hotel names are listed in relatively tiny type. The front desk did not mention this when I requested the shuttle from the airport, so be on the lookout.

Nice people, clean room, and very quiet for being on the end of an active runway. Bathroom setup was very nice. However, our hotel experiences are made our broken by the air conditioner, and it would not take the temp below 74 regardless of being set to 60. It just refused, and would cycle at 74, indicating it had been intentionally set that way to save a dollar. Officially, and without exaggeration the hardest bed we have ever attempted to sleep on. And a traffic pattern and parking garage so confusing it added 20min to check in. I guess these are all very subjective issues, but I still feel misled by all the good reviews from others. Weird decor, too. Lamp stands look like chains and foot stools are silver plastic alligator skin. Guess some people like that. Very nice people, though.

Nice, new hotel with modern features. Friendly staff. Parking is in an adjacent parking deck, which is a little obtuse but workable. We stayed on the top floor and hot water was in short supply, it took a long long time for the water to reach a comfortable temperature. The breakfast was below par compared to other Hampton Inns. Fitness room was comparable to other hotels. Still a good place to stay.

Super secure and newer hotel. Nice gym, spacious dining area, and convenient business center. I used my digital key throughout my stay to open the front door after hours, the elevator, and my room. The only gripe I have is with parking. The only option if arriving late is a parking garage that serves the Hilton properties. It's a bit of a walk from the 2nd floor, and if you come out the wrong side, you'll need to walk past the Homewood Suites to get back to the hotel. Otherwise, nice spot for a quick stay.

Clean, comfortable, classy rooms. Best bed I have ever slept on. Usually get a room with a stand-up shower which is very nice. I had a tub this time around and it's kinda small and quite slippery. The staff is extremely friendly and well trained. You get a beautiful view if the airport or the courtyard depending on side if hotel. I definitely recommend staying at this Hilton property everytim you visit Tampa.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel decor is beautiful. The staff was friendly and the hotel was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. The fire pit and pool area is REALLY nice. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies were nice and maintained the area. My children really enjoyed hot chocolate each night☺. We look forward to staying here when we visit Tampa again.

Very clean and comfy beds. Bathroom design looks great. Great experience here tonight. April at the front desk looked a bit down, but managed a smile when I bothered to have a quick chat with her. Elevators are fast. 1 min walk to world of beer for a quick bite or drinks.

I had surgery next door at laser spine and they let us check in 3 hours early so that was nice. The rooms were really clean and updated. Noise was not a problem besides the occasional airplane that would fly above but that never bothered me. Breakfast in the morning was yummy. One of the best free breakfasts I've had at a hotel. I would stay here again!

Room 723 — room and location were great except for 1 thing. The AC squeaked loudly every time it turned on or off, all throughout the night. If that 1 thing we're fixed, they would get 5 stars! Breakfast was above average.

The lobby and my room was clean and nicely decorated. The room had many USB charger ports located though out the room. The king bed was very comfortable and the sHowe was spacious. The staff was nice, friendly and seemed helpful. Although the A/C compressor was a bit noisier than I liked, it wasn't so noisy that I couldn't sleep. There were very few spaces near the hotel entrance, but there is ample parking in the parking garage central to the other businesses and nearby hotels. The pool area was a little small but the seating area adjacent to the pool is a welcome plus.

This was a really great place to "nest" until flight time the next day. Monster TV in the room. Downside was the limited and confusing parking situation. Someone even stopped and asked me where to park.

Very clean, new hotel. Can walk to a couple of restaurants and is less than 5 minutes from the airport. Great option for early morning flights.

The hotel was looked very modern and was clean. The staff was helpful and delightful. In the morning the ladies working the breakfast area always made sure there was hot food and were so cheerful.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorite part is the app that lets you unlock all the doors you need to without a key. I'm staying here on business and this hotel meets all my needs and at the Government rate no less!

Very clean. Good value for the money. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would have liked a tub and not just a shower stall. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because you can hear a lot of noise from the planes.

This hotel is brand new (Dec 2016) and is very well done. Located directly across the street from Tampa International Airport, there is airplane and street noise (on the street side of the hotel), but it's not terrible. The rooms on the back side may have much less vehicle noise. The double queen suite is very well designed and appointed. Beds, desk, couch, and lounging chair make for plenty of room to spread out and relax. Hampton's usual quality bedding and linens along with the bathroom towels are a welcome point of comfort. Breakfast is always enjoyable at the Hampton and this hotel is no exception. The selection is mostly the same, however, having the option of something hot (eggs and sausage) to something cold (cereal and yogurt) plus pastries and juices, there's something for most everyone. All in all, a very enjoyable hotel and friendly, helpful staff!
