A charming hotel that is in a beautiful location, on the lagoon in front of Venice. Every detail is carefully cared for by the owners. Rooms that are cosy and clean. You eat very very well. Very nice and caring staff. The beach is also a good one not far away.

Had a lovely 3 night stay in this hotel, very clean and staff on reception are really friendly, even lent us umbrellas as was raining I will be back, great location.

Best. Hotel. Ever. Charming and quaint, Hotel Villa Mabapa is a great place to stay while in the Venice area. Very nice rooms, delicious breakfast, and warm friendly service.

Our 3 bed room had 2 bathrooms.

Good rooms, nice location but the restautant is a joke. Worst experience I've had. Was supposed go get pasta with lobster. Got some over cooked pasta (probably heated in microwave or on stove) without any pieaces of lobster. What an insult. So stay away from the restaurant and you will have a nice stay.

Absolutely adored this hotel, it is very comfortable and spotless, and is very classic looking. Has beautiful gardens and the people who work there take pride in their job. They also love when you try to speak italian to them. They are more than happy to help you learn italian and offer lots of things to do in the city.

Beautiful place. Love the area and the view. The hotel was beautiful on the outside, especially the little outskirted pink hotel area for a couple extra rooms. That small area is where we stayed. The air conditioning was terrible and its filters were clogged with dust. The rooms were small and the bedrooms had very little lighting. The beds were also very stiff. The employees there were rude to many of us. Not friendly whatsoever. Their food that they make was not good. It was the worst food of all we had in Italy. Everyone I knew could not finish it. I DO NOT recommend eating there except maybe for breakfast. The food far from good enough to match the cost, and it is definitely expensive. I would go to the hotel for the great area it is in and the island it is on. I would not go if you are looking for a great hotel to stay in.

This is definitely not a 2 star hotel. The room smells and the decor is worn with rust in the bathroom. The shower was non functional. When you turned it on the water did not drain and black particles, dirt like substance and strange white material floated in the shower. Management was called and said it is cleaning materials and it is draining enough. We were not given any options for a bath tonight. Very disappointed in this hotel. Very bad experience.

Lovely place on tne water, courteous staff. Perfect spot away from crowds in Venice, near the beach, but only a quick boat ride away from San Marco Piazza.

Just returned from a 4 night stay and cannot fault this place rooms were always very clean the food is amazing the staff were brilliant always very helpful and couldn't do enough for you especially Rosa in the bar they were very informative about the area. The hotel is situated perfectly in a quiet area but only a 10min walk to the main street or the beach and only a 15 min ferry to Venice itself. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Typical Italian middle-class hotel on the Lido with a very good cuisine. Portions are small, so you should order at least 2 courses. Very nice operation.

I tried the restaurant catering at an event in San Servolo. It was amazing, accurate, not at all discounted and I could taste some traditional dishes. Congratulations! I dare not imagine what it means to taste the dishes just out of the kitchen! I would highly recommend:-)

Typical Italian middle class hotel on the Lidl with a very good kitchen. Portions are small, so you should order at least 2 gears. Very nice service.

Annoying Management wants to bring Hotel down? The old beautiful hotel has deserved better than the current management: We booked from 2 to 3rd Feb 2018: — No reaction from the receptionist because we were freezing in the icy room in february, although the heating was on in the corridor, — Shrugs the shoulders when she hears a bottle of wine for free should be given according to the email from the booking agency, — The ticket to Murano was only offered 30 seconds before the tour started, so we were unable to attend, — a nice servant in the breakfast, who was behaving friendly and normal, — other customers complained about a broken shower and to pay 15€ for a cheese with bread. We would definitely recommend you to book your hotel in Venice somewhere else.

Perfect hotel Mabapa! Lido is a wonderful island off Venice, Italy. I can't wait to go back next summer!

Comfortable, quiet, beautiful surroundings. Pleasant, friendly staff. Lovely rooms a welcome change. 10 minutes walk along the seafront to the vaporetta. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel on the Lido, Michael the host knows all the hot spots. Hooked us up on a tour of the glass factory in Murano, and saw the lovely Burano. The room was big, and there was a huge breakfast everyday. Very accommodating staff, would recommend, and return again. A+++++

I had the opportunity to arrange a lunch here for my wedding 30. Kindness, professionalism and culinary art have characterized and characterize the staff of the hotel. The agreed price was adjusted to the various and good courses. The environment is beautiful and refined; The villa is surrounded by a large space, in the front, and by a very large garden, in the back.

Hotel is too old with small rooms, trees are everywhere which is having lots of flies in the balcony, unfortunately bad smell in the toilets sometimes, the best part is their staff very nice, pleasant and helpful and the hotel is in very safe area which is makes my stay little good but overall it was bad experience to me, cuz the hotel was reserved through travel agencies not by myself: (

Very rustic historic hotel, air conditioning isn't best however, and they checked us into room that wasn't ready and got yelled at by cleaning lady. Would come here again due to rustic nature, good food and nice area.

Location is on Lido Island, close to the water bus terminal. Rooms are a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. Very dated decor.

This is a nice and quiet property, and if you are visiting Venice a great alternative to staying in the very busy city, especially during peak vacation season. We really enjoyed our short visit.

Second time I've stayed here and would go back in a heartbeat! It's so relaxing and peaceful, we had a room with a balcony overlooking the garden and woke up to blackbirds singing. It's about a 15 minute stroll from the Main Street and vaporetto stop on Lido and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn't eat there, apart from breakfast which was lovely, eaten in the garden, as we could never face the thought of a big meal in the evening as it was so warm (and also there were few vegetarian options for me) but the restaurant has a very good reputation. The room was fairly small but had good storage and everything we needed and it was lovely and quiet, the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful relaxing break — thank you Villa Mabapa!

Friendly, helpful staff. A little far from things to do in Venice but so much easier to get to the hotel and get your luggage in and out so I'd say it's worth it. Water bus is super easy to navigate back and forth.

For my birthday, my wife had the great idea to invite us in March 2015 (from
22 to 25). It was an opportunity for me to live a dream awakened child: Discover Venice, its history (in the sad final) and its lagoon.
She also chooses this hotel.
Wonderful! Competent and friendly staff who knew how to accommodate our young children (2 and 3 years old). Nice kitchen but, in my opinion and on the few days spent, would gain to vary. Room (ours) comfortable and spacious.
Good memories.
We promised to come back.

Hotel: the rooms are spacious and well stocked in linen and furniture. A bottle and a plate of cakes are offered on arrival. Highly qualified personnel, and at the front desk Michel is full of humor and smile to meet any demand. Don't miss the smile is good and hotel. The restaurant has a good cook, and the morning at breakfast, one that does not find its happiness does not exist, there is something for all tastes and nationalities. I particularly recommend this hotel which presents quiet, the charm and conviviality. Good stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this Hotel, staff were extremely professional and helpful as I was with my 11 month old baby, nice location with 8 to 10 mins walk from Lodi S. M. E water boat station, a COOP store just around the corner if you forgot something to pack or just buying bottled water. You get free bicycles to wonder around from hotel with a small refundable deposit of €20.

Impeccable Hotel — between the car and the normal passenger ferry. Direct views of Venice (if you step out of the Hotel or one of the "good" rooms). Not luxurious but still very much recommended for visitors of Venice. (Ferries depart every ten minutes! )
