My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for 10 nights in 2019. We had booked again for 2020, sadly because of Covid we couldn’t return. We saved our reservation to return and plan to June 2021! We can’t wait! The hotel is in the heart of Sorrento! The staff go over and above for you! Always so helpful! Especially Enza, Katia, Mrs. Daniella and all of the front desk staff! Hope everyone is staying safe at this difficult time!

We had such a wonderful time. All the staff were superb especially Maitre D’ Giuseppe x.

Lovely 5 star hotel in a great location
We had dinner on the 4th floor open terrace… food was one of the best places we have eaten in Sorrento.
You can also go there just for rooftop drinks… Highly recommend.

Stayed here in October 2019 for four beautiful nights in this gorgeous hotel! We fell in love with it the moment we stepped inside. Even the outdoor sitting areas are comfy and beautiful! I was surprised by the pillow menu! The service and hospitality was truly amazing. I’m definitely staying here on my next return to beautiful Sorrento. Views from the pool are stunning.

We stayed here for our first 4 days too Italy for our honeymoon! fantastic hotel from the staff to the food and also the amenities! I can go on and on about this place! we will be back for sure! only bummer part was the pool area was closed due too the weather and time of year we are here… other than that magnifico!

Top shelf from the moment we arrived. Courteous, helpful and very friendly. The view we had was a bonus. The rooftop pool and dining experience were things you’d have to see for yourself. Wow.

Amazing hotel! Wonderful staff!

Everything about the hotel is exceptional! Most importantly the people that work there. The front desk people were exceptional! Especially Enza and Emma! Two amazing and genuine ladies. So sweet and genuine. So helpful and sincerely wanting to make sure that you feel special! They were so warm and amazing our entire stay! The restaurants for both breakfast and dinner were excellent as well. Luigi the restaurant manager was one of the most professional and sincere man that I have met anywhere in business or personally as well. A true asset and he so needs to be appreciated! Also Salvatore and Francesco. Two very special and unique men who make every second of our time there so special! Even when you try to cut a cherry tomato with your fork and it splashes all over your shirt and you make eye contact and laugh your head off about it. They are amazing. Yes the hotel is beautiful with a great location, amenities and rooms but these very special people are what makes it above and beyond any other 5 star hotel. They all need to be complimented, appreciated and to be recognized!

Gracious staff, terrific location, beautiful views of the Bay of Naples, Mediterranean Garden (even a secret garden), rooftop pool with luxurious lounge chairs to catch the sun or relax under an umbrella. Spacious bathroom with amenities, good lighting, makeup mirror. Sitting on my balcony I feel like a very special guest, pampered & appreciative.

Simply magnificent hotel. Nice and clean rooms, impeccable room service. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. The freshly cooked eggs and pancakes are really a treat. The garden is cared for and full of life. Staff friendly and always helpful. The pool is gorgeous and the bar is really nice. A place where I would come back so many times. A guarantee here in Sorrento.

We have had the most amazing stay at this hotel and are sad to leave today. The attention from the staff has been fantastic. We love Luigi and Antonissio (apologies for bad spelling) who have been very welcoming and made us feel at home. The hotel is immaculate and the location is perfect. The roof top pool is a welcoming tranquil place to chill after a day out exploring and the food in the restaurant is delicious. Coupled with the stunning views and evening entertainment there is really no need to go out in the evenings but sit back and relax and enjoy the service ambience and views. We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

Popped in as walking past always liked the look. It said roof top cocktail bar so we thought why not open to the public. Well the view was amazing we sat and watched the sun go down what a sight well worth a visit. The staff were welcoming a very romantic place to have drinks x.

Wow Wow and Wow We have just arrived back from 11 nights in this beautiful 5 star Hotel in Sorrento in Italy, Grand Hotel La Favorita, it really made our holiday and was everything you could want from a 5 star hotel, the food was very good the room was excellent and clean, they couldn't do enough for us! I found all the staff amazing and really friendly, I would 100% recommend this lovely Hotel and if we do go back to Sorrento that would be our first choice.

Absolute excellence. The hotel is architecturally stunning. It favors wide spaces and elegance without ever expiring in excess. Attention to detail and sophistication characterize all the decorative and furnishing choices. Beautifully kept and rich in varied plants and trees are the hanging gardens, with patterns and colors that are also found in the green areas placed on the panoramic terrace (the Gulf of Naples is at your feet…) which houses the pool and restaurant bar on the 4th floor. The reception rooms and those on the dining/breakfast floor are aesthetically beautiful on sight and very comfortable in use. The service is equal to the architectural majesty: the entire team of the hotel is attentive and available to the customer, welcomed with delicacy and almost affectionately pampered; Wishes are fulfilled on time and even anticipated if possible. Professionalism reigns in all articulations: from the very efficient reception to the timely administration, from courteous baggage handlers to scrupulous maintainers, from the kind room service to the fine staff of the bars and the pool (a canister), to end up at the splendid staff of the restaurant service, with cooks, pastry chefs, waiters and kitchen staff, all masterfully coordinated by Maitre Luigi.
The Favorite is not simply "recommended": it is an exhortation to approach a dimension of well-being that is found only in the best hotels in the world.

5 star is a correct evaluation for this hotel. From the staff to the cleanliness, restaurant quality and location. This is one of the nicest stays we have experienced.

My wife and I were welcomed by other guests and the ambience of the place was fantastic not over crowded and felt valued (lughi) made our trip very special! And would highly recommend this place! The roof top terrace view at sunset was worth a visit alone.

High hopes were sadly not met at the hotel restaurant BellaVista. Lovely views and ambience so all the ingredients for a lovely meal. The food was quite good but sadly the staff let it down. Quite abrupt, critical (! ) and not at all friendly which muted the occasion. The staff would do well to visit "Terrazza Vittoria" at the Continental and learn from their staff who are amazing!

The evening at the Grand Hotel la Favorita will be unforgettable for the rest of my life. Beautiful live music by the duo Cam Tham who with his notes managed to engage and amuse everyone present. Breathtaking view from the terrace with pool especially at sunset where an explosion of colors lit up the sky. I highly recommend the hotel if you want to spend a dream holiday.

Our tour group stopped here for lunch. Salad was fresh with tasty tomatoes. Pasta was outstanding and dessert was nice. Main course was average but did not detract from overall experience. Nice view of the Mediterranean.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Right in the middle of Sorrento so easy walk to all the sights. Lots of space, nice private garden and classic rooms make this hotel a joy to stay in. Super friendly staff who go out of their way to help you with any questions and where to find the hidden gems of Sorrento. Good food in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet one of the best — enough to feed you the whole day!

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon recently and loved it. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially as this was the first time we had visited Italy and didn’t know what to expect. Gianluca in particular went out of his way to help when we had any queries and to organise any trips we wanted to do. The hotel itself is beautiful with its traditional Italian decor. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy with cleaners coming in every day to replenish toiletries etc. The added extra of chocolates being left everyday was also a lovely touch. The gardens are beautiful with its many lemon and orange trees, fairy lights and furniture to sit and enjoy the scenery. The restaurant and breakfast area is also amazing and the buffet breakfast selection is the biggest I have ever seen with the food itself being fabulous. We would highly recommend staying in this hotel at any time and thank the staff for making our honeymoon that little extra special.

I've been to a wedding and the only word is "exceptional. " Everything perfect from the courses not to mention the place! Food of excellent quality and well done, abundant portions, great service and fantastic location! I highly recommend it!

It was a very nice Hotel. Comfortable rooms, well furnished with personality. Staff available 24 hours a day, large public spaces and gym areas and incredible rooftop pool. What to see if you stay in Sorrento.

Excellent service and great views! Sat up on the roof top and enjoyed prosecco and a beautiful sunset! Prices were very reasonable.

My wife and I stayed at La Favorita as part of our honeymoon in Italy. We very much enjoyed the location of the hotel, it is in very close walking distance to restaurants, shopping and some nice views of the sea. The hotel staff is very accommodating and professional. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was quite delicious! The hotel rooms were also quite lovely, if we had to he picky… the mattress was a bit firm. But otherwise our stay was very enjoyable and we would be back in a heartbeat!

My mother and I spent a glorious week based in this hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic, so helpful and friendly — they really looked after us. The decor is stylish and both the rooms and public areas are very comfortable. You can't fault the location either. It's perfectly placed for the town. We found the food to be excellent and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was outstanding too. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. Decor was nice and amenities were great, but I feel like they went for amenities over core hotel offerings. The bed was a rock and the walls were thin. This made for a less than ideal sleeping situation before our journey back to the States. I'd recommend this hotel to heavy sleepers but I feel like there may be better options.

Third time we where at the hotel and everytime it's better and better. Accomodations 10/10, breakfast 10/10, lunch and dinner on the top terrace 10/10. Fantastic staff and a special recomondation for the head waiter Luigi and his staff. My finbal score for this hotel is surely 10. we will be back next summer.
