Feeling welcomed in a hotel is among the first reasons that leads each of us to return. We will definitely return to Sorrento and will return to be guests of this hotel where we had a great time. Our expectations were high, having already seen extremely positive reviews, but everything worked better than we expected. Thank you and soon!

Lovely hotel amazing staff, fantastic location.

Pro’s: good value in a central location with lots of eateries around. Clean and good service. Nice breakfast.
Con’s: limited power points in bedroom, dodgy Wi-Fi that keeps dropping out, no vehicle access so need to drag luggage down the narrow street some 150m from drop-off point.

It is a good hotel in a extraordinary location. The room is very small but we could handle it. It was clean and the balcony makes the difference. The breakfast is poor enough. The staff were friendly.

Nice clean hotel. In the centre of town so great for walking everywhere. Small rooms. No swimming pool but plunge pool. Just right for cooling down. Basic continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. Great Topflight reps.

Was there in June 2018 with my husband, loved it. Perfect location, central to all activities… very clean, all staff members were very accommodating. Will definitely return to Hotel Astoria in the future.

Very clean, smells good and fresh. Carefully decorated with lovely Vietri ceramics which we really enjoyed.
Very helpful and professional staff especially Rachele with her kindness and professionalism that has given us many valuable suggestions and directions on where to eat and what to visit in the surrounding area. I personally appreciated the treat of apples on the reception desk offers to customers that make you feel at home: it's a gem! Near restaurants, shops, pubs and tea rooms, the theater and all art and touristic attractions behind the sea view balcony of the municipal gardens. We had a room with lovely balcony overlooking lemon trees and garden. Everything perfect. We will definitely recommend it and for sure we'll be back to hotel Astoria.

Clean and adequate as a central base for exploring Sorrento and local area. Breakfast ok, staff helpful.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of sorrento. Great location for loads of great restaurants and shops a stones throw away. Very clean typical Italian rooms, ours had a balcony overlooking lemon trees and garden/patio area. Although no pool like many hotels in sorrento, theres an area for you to enjoy the sun on sun beds and chill out on a hot day. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Home now after a wonderful week in Sorrento. Hotel Astoria was fantastic. Superb location, staff very helpful & professional. We had a room & balcony overlooking the town & absolutely loved it, we watched the town wake up every morning & close every night. Everything perfect. We will definitely be back to hotel Astoria.

Fresh, clean and well located hotel. Somehowe confuded staff when we checked in. Expect to hear every neighbour as the rooms are porly sound insulated.

Quite happy. Very centrally located. Very clean rooms, helpful staff, great breakfast. Power shower, rooms cleaned and towel change every day. Would recommend.

Plastic sheets and bed very ugly.

Pros: Nicely decorated, well-maintained, good location, friendly staff, great bathrooms. Cons: The walls are very thin! We could hear everything that went on in the next room! It made it very difficult to sleep.

I actually had quite a positive first impression of this hotel: even though the interior color scheme is a bit fruity, the building is well-maintained and both interior and exterior seemed in good condition. The service at the front desk was slightly slow and the beds were not anything special, but these points were mostly forgivable. The thing that makes me give a 2-star review is the fact that the walls are apparently quite thin: my wife and I both struggled to sleep when we could hear the person in the next room snoring loudly the whole night. I can understand if there's a party going on next door and the rooms aren't 100% soundproofed, but this was frustrating for me. I'm not sure I'd go back for fear that I'd have bad luck and get stuck next to a snorer again.
