We stayed at this beautiful property from 27 to 29 June 2020 (too little). All perfect, spotless, great welcome, spacious room (having 3 son I took the family) and really professional staff. Thank you very much Stephen to you and all the staff.

My group stayed 3 nights at Hotel Britannia. It was a pleasure to plan with Stefano. His staff is kind and welcoming. The hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. There was information available for tours and restaurants. There is a lovely garden and a roof top terrace with a hot tub and lovely views of the bay of Naples. I look forward to recommending Hotel Britannia to my clients.

Fabulous family run clean hotel made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived staff very friendly nothing to much for them highly recommended we are returning in October close to town centre can’t wait to go back thank you all see you October.

Hotel Britannia is a jewel of a hotel. What Europe should be all about. Very clean room and washroom. AC worked great in a hot summer day (not something to be said about all Europe hotels). Stefano was an excellent host with excellent English. We told him we missed the complementary breakfast and then went on to provide hot croissants and Italian coffee. Managers of Hotel Britannia… take care of Stefano… or else he will be stolen by a better hotel. Also the location of hotel is nice with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Don’t walk to Sorrento just take the bus only 1.60 euro per person.

Great hotel, clean and good location, but the best part was the staff. Cant say enough about how kind and caring they were. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel and close to the center of Sorrento, solarium with hot tub and panoramic view, also gym, but what makes it the top is the kindness, sympathy and availability of all the staff, always ready to give advice, help, to meet the needs of the customer and make the stay fantastic! We will definitely come back, a heartfelt thank you to all.

Small basic hotel about 15 mins walk from Sorrento centre. Friendly helpful reception staff — all speak good English too! All areas very clean & beds are really comfortable. Only cold breakfast available but there is the usual range of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, croissants etc. There's also a bar. No complaints!

We have just left and would strongly recommend this accomodation to all our family and friends. The staff were all so lovely and approachable which made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean. Would definitely love to come back in the near future.

Lovely hotel in Sorrento. 5 nights and we felt very comfortable and happy with our stay. Big rooms, large bathrooms, great location and super helpful and nice staff. Recommended!

This hotel is the cleanest, friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in. I HIGHLY recommend this to mature travelers and newbies especially On our arrival they made our dinner reservations and all our outting reservations. They accommodated every change happily (change to a room with a view, request for a fridge and separation of king bed to twins). I seriously can't believe our luck. You won't find a level of service higher than this! I won't stay anywhere else when I return. They even iron the sheets and the towels. Who knew this even could happen at this reasonable rate?

Clean room but missing the basic stuff like mini bar, very small bathroom for showering, big room but doesn’t feel like comfortable. Approx 20-25 min walk from market place.

Very clean, very nice staff, a good 25 mins walk from the train station, no sidewalk for a portion  of the hiway, recommend taking a city bus to hotel only 10 min ride and very cheap, only 2 euro. No fridge. Very good A/C, very close to a look out point over looking the Grand Marina and you can see Mt. Vesuvius in the distance!  

Hotel Britannia's location gives you a wonderful view of Naples bay from the top floor where you can relax. It's located close to the center of the city where you can pick up a SITA bus to move around the city and surroundings. It offers a home-like atmosphere, spacious and clean rooms, some of them with balcony overlooking the bay. Staff was very friendly and helpful (reception, housekeeping, and breakfast service). Stefano made us feel at home, he really takes good care of his guests in all aspects. Ma. Laura is a wonderful woman taking good care of her guests during breakfast and housekeeping needs. You can find a lot of touristic leaflets about cruises and activities around Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi Coast hop-on, hop off buses. The hotel gives a restaurant pick up service from and to the hotel. Definitely we would return to Britannia for accommodation, highly recommended. Thank you Stefano and Ma. Laura for making us feel appreciated and cared during our stay.

Wonderful staff here. Very friendly and very clean. Stayed two nights and had a lovely time.

Good acceptance of large and clean rooms.

Only just left and boy did not want to leave. We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff for making our stay in Sorrento really enjoyable. The hotel is excellent, very clean and the rooms are very good. They are cleaned everyday to an impeccable standard. The staff can't do anymore for you. We had a small issue with our room and we were moved within the hour. The hotel is situated on a hill leading down to Sorrento which isn't much fun walking up in the midday… sun. But if you can't or don't want to be walking up and down hills Sorrento might not be for you! However the walk down and up is forgotten about once you catch sight of the incredible view across Sorrento and out to Vesuvius. The pictures don't do it justice. We will miss that view. So thanks again Stefano, Marie — Louisa and the rest of the team. Caio!

Nice hotel. Basic but for the money in the area was worth it. Slight walk out of town but there is a bus stop literally outside the front door. No pool though.

Me and my husband visited Sorrento in June and stayed at this hotel.
I must say, during the peak season, we were very lucky to find such an excellent hotel, at a very reasonable price.
Pros: 1st of all, the location. It is very well connected to the city centre. We had no difficulty finding it as all the taxis knew where the hotel was.
2nd, the staff members. They, especially the manager was extremely helpful, provided us with a map and explained to us the directions, places to visit etc. Loved his helpful attitude and warmth.
3rdly, the room. Our room was a sea view room with a cute balcony and the room had all the basic amenities like a. C, hairdryer in the bathroom, fresh towels everyday, toiletries etc. The room was cleaned everyday.
4thly, the hotel has an excellent terrace with beautiful view of the sea and mount vesuvius. All you need to do is take a glass of cocktail and relax, enjoying the view.
5thly the hotel provides you with a list of restaurants where you can go with the help of a shuttle service. Just call the reception and they will arrange a taxi. Lovely. Also, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel which you can use to go to the docks etc. Cons: tried but couldnot find any.
P. S : thanks for letting us have breakfast in our room. Enjoyed the cakes :)

Hotel a short distance from the center of Sorrento can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Mehh disponobilissimo. The rooms are new and clean, breakfast is not very extensive but acceptable. On the top floor there is a terrace for sunbathing.

We stayed five days at the hotel Britannia, for us it was a return, the new management headed by Mr. Stephen has made our stay excellent. Spotless rooms, linen changed daily, are spacious and overlooking the Gulf of Sorrento; the staff were friendly and always helpful, even at night, the solarium allows you to spend relaxing moments; the impressive breakfast is served in a spacious hall from accommodating staff with very fresh produce. The garden and the rooms are welcoming and comfortable conversation.
A truly heartfelt thanks to everyone who works in staff and is able to satisfy all guest requirements.
We recommend that you leave your car and walk around the hotel's location allows you to easily reach the city centre and all the beaches; SITA BUS stop right outside the hotel provides access to the entire Amalfi coast.
Thanks for the welcome and for all services rendered. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
