Most impressive building in lovely grounds. Not too far from city centre. On the pricey side. Free parking. Excellent staff. Ask for the buffet breakfast in the sun room as the breakfast room is quite dark. Air conditioning in the comfortable rooms. The Talbot hotel nearby is better value.

I stayed here my first time to Ireland, it’s a great location, walking distance to the Irish Sea, and from Dublin if your up for a 4 hour walk which to me was enjoyable, but even the taxi fee into Dublin was cheap! This place is absolutely gorgeous! The food is amazing, and the staff are excellent! Only one problem, but I noticed it in at a lot of places in Ireland, just be careful, the bathtubs are higher, like a step or two up, and a lot have marble flooring, so it’s hard to get in and definitely dangerous to get out, I fell twice getting out of the shower! I stayed in the Helens room, lovely view!

I have to travel to Dublin regularly for work and get placed at this hotel. For me, it's a delight as the hotel is genuinely fantastic. From the warm welcome at reception during check-in to the exquisite service in the restaurants, I cannot fault this hotel in any way. David, who works in the Orangerie bar/restaurant, provides first class service with a smile throughout the day. This restaurant, during the winter, has the most incredible open fireplace providing a warm and homely feel even on the coldest of nights. If that's not enough, the main building is sensationally stunning. I imagine it must be a very popular wedding venue given the periodic decor and picturesque grounds, which are maintained to a very high standard. Rooms are reasonably-sized, clean and well-fitted (albeit the television selection isn't brilliant and may require a revamp). I haven't tried the apartment / premium rooms, but they look beautiful. Views generally either look out across the grounds (my preference — odd numbered rooms) or across the vista towards Dublin centre — if on the even numbered rooms, the higher the floor the better the view — rooms on the fourth floor provide the best view in either direction. Most importantly for any traveller, a comfortable bed and warm, powerful shower comes as standard in any room.

Loved this property, Very comfortable, beautiful bar and lounge area. The landscaped grounds are just icing on a very acceptable cake. Restaurant Brunch/ Breakfast outstanding. Dublin, Ireland has some great staff from all over the World. Each of them sing the praises of a beautiful City.

Everything about our room was excellent. The customer service left a bit to be desired though. We needed to extend our stay by one night and it took 3 days to get our reservation right and many many phone calls. Overall would stay again if in the area but I'll make sure I get my reservation details right the first time.

I was there for a work event last night and the meal was appalling! The plum tartlet was a large, whole, hot tomato dumped in a rock hard pastry case with a couple of slivers of onion on the side of the plate. When I attempted to eat it, the pastry was that hard that it went flying off the plate. The mains of salmon was accompanied by a potato stack with black lumps in it and completely inedible. Bitterly disappointed with what I had anticipated to be a lovely meal. The only plus I can add is the beautiful interior and grounds of the hotel.

This hotel has a lot of potential, when it first opened it was wonderful. I feel it has lost a lot of its sheen and needs a good make over. Parts of the hotel are tired and in real need of decorating. The bar in the reception room was difficult to get a drink with large queues, managing large events might need some further thought and man power.

It's tired and needs a refurb. Been coming here for 8 years and it's not changed. Rooms are dated with poor bathrooms. Beds are two single beds pushed together with two single duvets. Breakfast quality is the worst I've had in Ireland. Check out is incredibly slow. The inside does not live up the outside, sadly.

Outstanding hotel and service! From our first viewing experience of the Radisson to planning of the wedding reception, to the actual wedding day and morning after staying the night there was truly fabulous. Myself, husband, family and friends were blown away at how fantastic the service was from the get go. With getting everything right for our big day we knew from the beginning that all would go perfectly due to the genuine and such kind responses from staff members. From making an appointment with Mario and meeting him at the venue on the first day was incredible. Anything we asked for he kindly responded with Yes that can be done. There was no difficulty with anything and his emails with any information needed with regards to the menus etc where prompt. Looking back this really took a lot of the stress and pressure out of things and for that we were truly grateful. So as we left Mario and went up stairs we decided to have a coffee and celebrate and we got talking to Liam at the bar beside reception. We told him the news and he was genuinely happy for us. Liam put us at ease with his great sense of humor, warmth and reassurance that it will be a beautiful day. I have worked many years in sales and customer service and I love it when I see passionate people providing an excellent service. So with that, we left the Radisson extremely excited knowing we had made the best decision to go ahead to book it. It’s rare I do reviews but it’s also rare that the service is a 100%.

Magnificent hotel, rooms were very quiet, even with the knowledge that a large, loud Christmas party was going on, we didn't hear a thing in our room. The rooms have all the amenities needed. Decorated nicely for the holidays. Bar had great service. Talavera Italian restaurant down below was very good and busy. Only two complaints would be a lack of change (Euros/coins) available to be made by the front desk staff and the Wi-Fi was not very strong in the room.

Amazing venue and fabulous decorations and probably one of the best g and t s in town, however food is disappointing. Came here for a charity lunch and no-one on our table could eat the lamb because it was so hard. Ordered the venison on another occasion and it was hard and dry. Coffee, cocktails and atmosphere definitely the high points.

We had our christmas party there recently. Some of us used public transport and the pedestrian entrance wasn't lit up. The service was slow while we waited between courses. Those of us who ordered a christmas mains received turkey slices instead of craved, hard sprouts and not a roast potato in sight. As we were on the first floor our drinks had a long way to come from the bar downstairs via reception. The surroundings were most opulent and plush which created warmth and comfort.

The hotel is real eye candy with it's old Villa and beautiful park. The staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. Nevertheless I would have awarded 4, 5 stars if possible as I wasn't completely satisfied with every aspect of our stay. There was a bit mould between the tiles in the shower and stains on the window as well as a broken switch. None of these things would justify a whole star less, though. On the bright side they have USB charger sockets next to the beds, a beautiful orangery and the breakfast was absolutely worth every cent! I would recommend the hotel at any time!

Shocking service! I left an expensive bracelet in my room when I checked out. I called the hotel so many times and they were too busy to look. Then funnily enough it wasn't there. The only person who went in the room after me was the cleaner. I know where in the room I left as I only took it off to have a shower. So it must have been stolen. Wrote a review on trip advisor. And the asked me to contact them as they take all negative reviews seriously. So I did contact them and guess what they couldn't be bothered to respond. Don't take any valuables as they will just steal them!

Good location and enjoyable breakfast. However, decor tired, with many areas of damage not repaired. Staff at reception curt and unfriendly. Initial room given, very noisy due poorly insulated adjoing door to next door room and loud TV on. Given alternative room on complaining — but seemed too much trouble. Really is not a 5 star hotel. Maybe twenty years ago — not much seems to have been done in the intervening years…

Service is very good. Food is particularly tasty. Not entirely kid friendly, but they understand the importance of catering for kids. Happy kid = relaxed parent. Toilets are hit n miss. Depends what is on in the hotel. There's a Porsche club and a post wedding BBQ — male toilets are terribly messy.

Absolutely amazing. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely girl at reception, very kind and helpful and extremely professional. Nice service in the architecturally beautiful bar. Impeccable service (even catering to my picky-eater boyfriends off menu request) in the restaurant. Highly recommend the meat and cheese plate! It's a beautiful building with old world service. Only complaint is our fireplace didn't work, but in the overall scheme of things that doesn't really matter! When we asked about it the lovely night manager did his absolute best to fix it. The garden view from the balcony is top notch. Also — the bed is glorious!

Fancy appearance, that is why I made my booking. But the decorations and the facilities in the room is showing the age. And it is quite far from city. If you want to experience different styles of hotels as me, one day is enough for staying.

Stayed at the Radisson for our work party, fantastic night. The staff were great, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The venue magical. Our room was fantastic, real luxury and night time room service and breakfast a real feast. The spa unfortunately was a disappointment. Had booked my makeup to be applied, having been asked what way I liked it done they seemed to do the complete opposite. The false lashes were glued to my cheek at one point. And they hadn't the products to achieve the look I was after, I ran up to my room for my own. I feel I shouldn't have had to pay anything, as I left the spa with only lashes after 1 hour. And had to remove them as the overuse of glue left my eyes red. I later reapplied my own lashes perfectly.

Hard to believe this is considered a high-end hotel: the service was absolutely dreadful. The staff appeared to be teenagers uninterested in their work and entirely untrained for it. A few examples: 1) I arrived at 5 a. M. With luggage. The young woman at the desk saw me outside the door and then turned away, waiting for me to come in alone (it was dark, and no one was around). I waited for a porter or valet, but no one came, so I struggled up the stairs w. My 2 bags. It then took ages for a porter to arrive to help me to my room. 2) I asked for more milk at breakfast, and it took 20 minutes to get a pitcher. 3) No one cleaned my room; I arrived back at 6 p. M. And the bed was still unmade. 4) My wake-up call was 25 min. Late, making me late for an important meeting. — — I could go on and on, but basically the point is: Do Not Stay Here! Almost any hotel in Dublin is better. And anyway, this one is in the middle of nowhere, and I can't imagine why you would want to stay there. I was put here by a company and did not make the reservation myself. Not recommended.
