2 weeks in Bali, for honeymoon, 2nd week here, and best holiday experience ever. The resort is first class enjoyment from start to finish.
The staff are the friendliest people I've met on any holiday, always greeting you with a smile and Om Swastiastu. The facilities are great the food is to die for, we had villa with private pool very spacious and comfortable. They cleaned twice a day and replenish all drinks and tea and coffee. Regular drop off and pick up to Ubud town so handy.
Enjoyed Alena so so much, will definitely recommend to all, and can't wait to return. Matur suksma to all the staff. Mr Kevin and Jane xx.

Amazing resort. Daily yoga except sundays. Beautiful pool. Nice food. Shuttles free into ubud. Daily guided walks. Super helpful staff. Free foot massage. Couples twin 1.75hr massage, scrub and wash for 975k rupiah. Excellent value. Would highly recommend.

Staff, food, atmosphere, views, environment, rooms and service are all 5*. Lovely and quiet, so easy to hire a bike from the centre and drive to the waterfalls. Resort offers free shuttles hourly into Ubud and the airport!

Beautiful hotel in nice quiet location. Best beds and beautiful pool. Staff is wonderful and breakfast is divine. Love the pool and free yoga and free walking tour. Only 10 minutes to ubud with free shuttle. Will stay if I come back.

We loved our stay in the Alena Resort. The staff was always really friendly and showed a lot of effort in every case. We had a few massages and enjoyed them to the fullest. The breakfast is also totally yummy! We did a Balinese cooking class, which was a lot of fun. We would always come back to this little and familiar resort. 100% recommendation!

We recently stayed here for a week. The location was perfect — approx 20min drive from Ubud centre but there is a free driver service every hour from the resort to town & collection service. So the benefit of being in a quiet chilled jungle location but close enough to town. We stayed in one of the suites which was stunning & had a balcony overlooking the jungle. The staff were always friendly & smiling and very helpful. They even surprised my hubby with a birthday cake. We arranged our airport transfers through reception & also our sunrise trek of the mount Batur volcano. I also did the complimentary morning yoga and the tour of the rice paddies which were both great. I would definitely recommend Alena as a resort & would love to go back in the future!

The best place to stay in ubud. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful, family friendly. The staff is beyond amazing and friendly even our 1 year old baby didn't want to leave them. The pool and food are amazing. And it's 15 mins away from the city centre with the resort free shuttle.

The place is simply fantastic, a true asylum from the troubles of everyday life. We loved the location, food, garden and rooms. Big kudos to the most wonderful driver Gusti who showed us wonders of the island during an all-day trip (highly recommended! ) and to the chef for always spoiling us with the delicious meals. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!

Stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon back in July this year. Wish we stayed longer. Great room with facilities, nice, clean and peaceful area. Shuttle bus comes handy for pick up/drop off to Ubud central. Will definitely come back when we have a chance.

Alena is a small resort close to Ubud center (about 20-30 minutes if there is no traffic jam). It is very quiet and offers the peacefulness someone would looking for in Bali. The people who work there, are very friendly and make you feel like home! They are very positive and genuine personalities, always with a smile and a good word, willing to help you with anything you need. During our 6 days stay there, we really liked our room (a suite with a garden) : it had a huge bathroom and a huge very comfy bed. A big thank you to all the guys there: all the Gustis :), Nordon etc for their hospitality and kindness to us! Our driver Gusti D :), a new friend from Bali, helped us a lot during the tours with all the information he shared with us about Bali and it's people. We would prefer to spend all of our holidays there instead of the other places we visited. We would definitely go back!

Loved this place! So serene and intimate, we never wanted to leave! Only thing that could be improved is the food, it's just ok, I'd stick with the salads.

I got a villa with private pool room and natural view, it was so relaxing and silence. The staff was really kind and helpful. I am so in love with experience breakfast menu especially tamarillo rebus, it was so refreshing.

Amazing boutique hotel, special place in a green surrounding. Very beautiful and serene, even in the rainy day. The staff were very kind, smiley and alway ready to help. The room was comfortable and cosy. We also got complimentary 15 mins massages and yoga lessons in the morning. Honestly, it's a great place to stay in the are of Ubud, highly recommended.

Nice peaceful and small resort. Good staff, rooms r clean and service is excellent. It's a drive of around 15-20 mins from the ubud city center, but they have shuttles every hour, which makes the commute easier, else you will be charged 100, 000 Indonesian rupees for a drop n pick up. Breakfast was good too.

Beautiful resort & spa in ubud, has recommend for your next stay in ubud. Villas, rooms and restaurant very good qualities. All my tourists that I had reduced to this resort, were satisfied.

Well what can I say about the Alena hotel…
if you want a relaxing, tranquil paradise then book this hotel.
It's in a small village area about 20/30 min ride from Ubud. Surrounded by jungle and rice fields. It's a beautiful complex consisting of 14 rooms and 3 villas with private pools. It has a beautiful spa area, restaurant and they provide a free shuttle to Ubud and back every hr till 10pm. When you arrive at the hotel expect to be greeted by a warm balneese welcome from Yanti and the team.
All of the staff learn your name very quickly and give you a personal greeting each time they see you.
After check in you get to take your welcome drink and depending on your arrival time the balneese afternoon tea of tea or coffe and cakes.
Your then take on a tour around the complex and then taken to your room or villa.
The Rooms are beautiful with big comfy beds huge bath tub and waterfall shower. Beautiful stone sink. Nice big wardrobe and TV that has some English movies on.
You get 4 bottles of water daily, basket of fruit daily and afternoon tea daily and breakfast! They provide bath salts, shampoo conditioner and lots of other toiletries such as toothbrush with tooth paste, sewing kit, comb to name but a few.
Free yoga class and rice field trek daily.
This place is so beautiful and tranquil and relaxing you can't help but unwind during your stay.
They staff are only too happy to help you with anything you may need.

A quiet place in the heartland of Ubud.

This hotel is perfect! A very pretty hotel in a very peaceful area surrounded by trees! I love sitting at breakfast in the sunshine looking down on the pool and enjoying amazing food! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday with helpful and very lovely staff.
