Nice place to stay in varkala cliff. Nice view and a silent place. The ambience outside and inside the cottage is good.

Beautiful location n setting. The huts are cute n cozy. Reasonably priced. Staff are friendly n helpful. But they could be little more careful with cleaning of the rooms as the one we got had ants n spiders webs n lot of settled dust in a corner. We were not provided any sheets to cover and no towels, but later towels n a soap was given on request.

A very good resort with good atmosphere.

Very nice place to spend time next to see. A lot of shops and restaurants at a walking distance. Shopping will be expensive though.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff really friendly and helpful. Has great hammocks and has a communal feel which is great to meet fellow travellers. Quite cheap too and location is perfect to see the sunset while sitting in the garden area.

Nice place to stay and very near to the beach. But the rooms are not what we are expected. No towels, glasses, bedsheets even no supplements in the washroom.

We stayed in a room for two nights and in a hut for three. For single travelers and couples, I'd definitely recommend a hut. The location is ok. There's closer accommodations to the beach, but not necessarily better ones – it's like a compromise you have to make. The price-performance ratio is good and the staff ok. What really defines this place is its cozy ambience, with a nice little palm tree garden and hammocks for everyone to relax in.

I stayed in a normal room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect.

5 star for location and the accompanying beach which is nothing short of spectacular. Sadly, everything else needs a facelit big-time. The rooms are below par, the management amateur and the facilities half baked. They can really make this resort into something great post tackling all this!

Worst experience ever. We booked through Agoda two monthes ago (five rooms for 03 nights for our 15 family members with aged parents and kids). When we arrived at 9 p. M all the way from Kochi one of their staff provided us only 03 dirty rooms without any basic aminites (no water to drink, no bucket/ mug) that to in a under-construction building. But the bad experience not yet finished then another very rude behaved person come over and denied our booking whereas we had valid booking voucher with full payment done. But he said Agoda is not paying them money so he is not going to give us room to stay. My question is if you have problems with Agoda then why the hell you people not taking action against them instead of harrassing tourists who already paid money. That person literally threatened us to cancel the booking and live the place otherwise he will throw us out and cut electric line. Anyhow we accomodate ourselves in 03 rooms and spend the night because we were with small kids and old persons with us. We requested to provide altist a mattress to sleep but they behaved like we are staying free. Being a frequent traveller and a travel professional (ex Cox & Kings I ltd) I never ever faced this kind of experience before. We left the place 01 day before just because of their rude and unprofessional behaviour. Many more to write but if you don't want to ruined your holiday please don't go there.

Super sceneic location except the service.

No parking facility, bad flooring, open flush tank in toilet, half closed partition between room and toilet, need to walk 5 mins to reach room from public parking space.

A resort with a nice and wow environment situated in a cliff the resort faces sea.

Nice Bamboo cottages on north cliff and close to papanasanam beach. Only thing annoying is that there is no power backup and huge power cuts are there is day time.

Very rude staff. Waited for 20 mins for the staff to arrive. Not clean and very small rooms. No Wi-Fi and very far from the beach!

Worst people… Worst staff… Don't know the basic respect for the guest. Simply bad and violent. Setting up the local fellows to threaten u. Plz don't go there.

Place is good for those who like to stay in a hut. It won't be suitable for families. Its just a hut like setup. The room is so congested.

I had visited this place in September 2017 and have a very bad experience. The rooms here are very bad no food with no amenities. They mint money to the extent you cannot pay so much for such kind of rooms. I had booked two rooms for 2 days for 4 members ended up paying 14k with no amenities. The rooms were leaking while raining outside. The owner also behave very rude and shout at his guest's. Totally not good option.

Though they market as bamboo rooms they provide you normal rooms. The bamboo huts are old and even if they give you a chance you won't get in there. Gave 2 stars for cost and location.

Great place to stay in varkala. Right at the edge of the cliff with a great view. Perfect place to unwind. Although wouldn't recommend the same for families with children.

Clean shacks & toilets with an amazing view of the sea at just 50 meters. Lot of eateries nearby with decent crowd. Also the two colored eye cat will keep you entertained.

Simple, no frills stay at very economical price. Decent rooms with basic facilities, nice ambience with plenty of hammocks to relax in. The sea breeze and the shade will ensure a relaxed environment. The approach road leaves much wanting. The cliff facing walk ensures you have a great view and easy access to scenic views, food and shopping.

Awesome place for hangout with friends and family… owner is so friendly… No disturbance… You can see sea from room.
