Modern, well designed hotel. A hideaway in the mountains. Great atmosphere, clean air, birds chirping, trees everywhere. Room is beautiful and has a balcony overlooking the forest. Service is exceptional with well trained, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel.

Finest and Comfy stay at The mountain courtyard. Fabulous view of forest from the room balcony. Very spacious room with all modern amenities and well furnished. Enjoyed our stay to the core.

Best place to stay. Wonderful ambience, food was amazing. Above all staffs were so friendly. Special mention to Mr. Sabin from Darjeeling, who gave us the best service in restaurant. Well enjoyed with family. I would strongly suggest this property in thekkady.

Loved the whole experience. The idea behind building a resort in the middle of the Forest is amazing. Very well planned and executed. The hospitality is good. The breakfast spread is nice. The view from your room is breathtaking! Would recommend for a relaxing stay for the whole family.

One line expl:-Refreshing and enriching. Location-Located in the midst of cardamom plantation and jackfruit trees, completely silent and relaxing environment. *Helpful and courteous staff members. *We could get the Dinner according to our special requirements. Food — Buffet had a good variety of dishes and the food was tasty. Rooms — Budget rooms available. Swimming pool was awesome but recreation center needs improvement. All other activities like dance performance, cooking show were also brilliant.

I had a short stay at the hotel. It has a great external facade and a sprawling courtyard, but the rooms could do with a makeover. The furniture was old, the room had a musty smell and the shower in the bathroom was just a little more than a trickle. The only redeeming quality was the balcony. In a nutshell, the rooms are a far cry from what's shown in the pictures. We had booked two rooms — tamarind and forest view (got an upgrade). The latter was slightly bigger and had a balcony facing two sides. Others than this the issues of old furniture, musty smell and bad shower remained the same. Room service and breakfast was ok, staff was courteous and helpful.

Loved the place. The staffs are amazing especially those guys in restaurant. We walked in to the restaurant at an odd time and they served food without showing any sign of discomfort… very good. Special mention to the guy from Darjeeling. Sabin… very humble and helpful. Other guys were good too. Nice spacious rooms and neatly maintained property. Recommended for all.

You should try once, it's good to stay and feel peace. There is swimming pool, multi sport activities room, trekking, good food. You can feel that you stay in between of jungle. The room are spacious and staff are good and well manner.

One of the best resorts that I've been to lately. I read somewhere that it received the award of best mountain resort in South India, don't know how true that is though. The staff if very nice, the rooms are clean, the pool is nice as well, the view is amazing, they even have lots of outdoor activities that you can take part in. In the evening they serve free tea and snacks to everyone. Should definitely consider staying here.

The resort is located in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms have a great mesmerising view. The pool and the garden are very well maintained. The hotel also has a cultural program in the night, which lets you witness the traditional dance form. We stayed for only one night, wish we could extend our stay. The staff is very courteous and helpful. All in all, a truly wonderful experience.

EXCELLENT! We stayed there for one night as a couple and wish we could extend it for another day. The place is situated in a lovely cozy hilltop away from the hustles and bustles of city. Staff members welcome you on arrival with a hot cup of cardamom tea. Tamarind rooms are good in amenities and staff members are very well behaved and cordial. Biking during the morning hours are the best experience. Great view from the room although we had garden viewing room. Villas are having the best view but they are costly. All over a nice experience and will like to come over again.

Very big, clean and nice rooms with big bathrooms. They have a nice dinner buffet with a variety of different dishes and they opened the restaurant very early in the morning just for our early breakfast as they wanted to serve us freshly prepared food instead of food boxes. Really worth staying.

Excellent hotel with serene surrounding. Stayed for a night on 25 Jan. 18. All Staff are courteous & helpful. Right from check in till check out, excellent service. Food : We had ordered Squid dish on menu but was expensive compared to its quantity served. Buffet breakfast was excellent. I recommend traveller's to go for this hotel for their stay in Thekady.

Outstanding property amidst the forest away from the bustling city. Beautifully made rooms with all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The spa facility on site was good and a nice retreat for a decent price. Food was good and appetizing no complains. They even provided an evening tea and coffee service out on the hotel park grounds which was fun.

Super. Just enough out of town and so close at the same time. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The architecture is a mix of contemporary with Stalinist style, but the facilities, the garden, the meals and the staff are fantastic. Everything is clean too.

Away from City shore make this property a best city away experience. They have good sense of the Hospitality and have preserved the beauty and utilization of nature to the best. Loved the Campfire and amphi-theater. The food served their needs no word to brief; they were enough finger licking. Just needs better execution in serving the guest on time. Rooms quality was better, view from room was also exotic. THe best thing I loved was room was away from Air-Conditioner (Invitation to utilize the Nature more & More). Can earn the better ratings, if the management puts more activity for guests.

This property is literally on a mountain… the way towards the hotel itself is a rugged experience of climbing a mountain. The jungle theme compliments the surrounding very nicely and gives a feeling of living in the wild while enjoying the modern luxuries. Good activities for kids and adults for recreational and educational purposes that wouldn’t make you feel bored or away from the bustling city.

Perfect Resort in the middle of Forest. If you wake up early enough you can hear the Malabar Whistling Thrush sing, from your room. The staff and service is exceptional. Rooms are beautiful with higher rooms in the main building give perfect morning and evening views. Approach road needs some work though. The place has hammocks, swing, play room etc to keep adults relaxed and kids busy.

Nice experience at the place. The support staff will keep you connected to natural beauty. Had a decent options for buffet lunch at this place. Nice pool. Well maintained garden and tea shop in the evening.

The place may be a bit interior and you may start to rethink of your choice… But behold… It is the best place to stay in Thekkady. Most of the tourist points are nearby and the view from your balcony is breathtaking… You would love to have every morning start like this… But hey… You are on your vacation… Ain't you ;)

The resort is very beautiful. The view from the room is mesmerising, staff is very courteous, rooms are very comfortable, breakfast buffet had lott of options, small programs in evening. We had a pleasant stay. Stay here only! You cannot miss this. Kudos to the whole team.

Around 4-5 kms away from main Thekkady village. The hotel situated on a hill and surrounded by plenty of greenery. There are two different blocks. Ones on the right are like cottages and the other one is more like hotel building. The balconies from cottages open up to a small valley with lots of tree. The view is quite soothing n peaceful. The hotel staff is welcoming and warm. They will also explain about the local activities. The food in the restaurant was a bit below par. The fish that I ordered wasn't fresh and wasn't well cooked either. The breakfast in the morning was rather good. Provided a lot of options with good taste and quality.

We were truly mesmerized by the scenic beauty of this beautiful resort. It was very well maintained and has an international standard. The management is very warm and welcoming.

Very beautiful resort. Located bit far away from the town but makes it up with its other features. Excellent view of the mountains from the resort. Well maintained garden. Decent restaurant though bit disappointed with the vegetarian fare. A pool is also available. A good option. Value for money.

We came stressed and tired to the hotel, but left rejuvenated and happy. This hotel has been the one we measure all other hotels against, and so far they have all come up short. Besides that staff was so helpful, fetching, looking after, overall I loved way of customer service which you provide it was a great experience for us. The room were amazing, clean and it's looks brand new Every day we had the buffet, and every day we were surprised how much it was changed from the day before. The food was incredible good, and very beautifully and tastefully displayed. I am a great lover of coffee, and the morning coffee was a tasty and delicious way to start the day. All in all, I am consider this, the best hotel we have stayed on, and can highly recommend it to all.

Keep the ratings aside and drop in to this hotel… Trust me ull enjoy every bit of this hotel from starting you step in to front desk the staff are so polite thn the person who showed us the hotel was AKHIL … What a gem of guy! Gave each and every answer of the questions were asked and made necessary arrangements as well… View absolutely stunning … Morning brkfast the lavish one with lot of variety… We had forest safari in the morning arnd 4:30 … The hotel staff made an arrangement of packaged food items for the safari so tht we couldnt miss our brkfast… Cheers to mountain courtyard and their entire management… Do keep such management in coming years…

We have stayed two days in this courtyard in may 2017. Hotel is located in forest and in huge area. Our cottage is surrounded by cardamom plantations. Good view from the room balcony. Great swimming pool, our kids enjoyed a lot at the pool. Break fast is awesome. Rooms and bed linens are kept clean. Being a very big property, it has plantations of all spices and fruit trees. Greenery is all around the property. We have relaxed in the spa. Memorable and wonderful stay.

A beautiful romantic resort. So carefully designed with spacious, the balcony outside the room give a wonderful valley view with lush greenery. We spent most hours in our balcony and not to leave the place. They Coming with more inventory and amenities. I can't even think of one negative about this place. The food served great and care taken by the entire team was awesome. Maintain the same standard and personalized service.

The place is tucked deep inside from the main road. A bit on the expensive side. Make sure that you have around 1.5 to 2 k for a proper dinner for two. The staff is good. If you go during off seasons there is a high chance that you will get upgraded to villa's even if you book a normal room.

Excellent location. Excellent food. Very nice staff and very very good service. For sure I recommend. It is surrounded by forest. But No AC in many rooms. But doesn't required AC because of climate.

A very under rated property. Well maintained, courteous and hard working staff. Every staff member is there to make a difference! Definitely a 5 star resort by any standards. Special thanks to Sajan — never says no to any reasonable requests. Greatly appreciate the warm hospitality extended to us.

Had a amazing new year at the mountain courtyard. We arrived on the 31st early in the morning and even though the checkin time is 1pm we got a our room at 8 in the morning with out extra charges including the breakfast for that day. Also for our late checkout on the 2nd jan. We got a new room to stay till our bus left in the night. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The food at the buffet could have been a little warmer but we always went quite late for food… The ala carte items we had where perfect. The new years party itself was awesome, including dance performances, games for adults and kids, bonfire and a dj. If you want to go to Thekkady I would highly recommend this place.
