Location was great. Breakfast was awesome. The bathroom was not very spacious.

Great updated and clean hotel. Modern restrooms with amenities (shower soap/shampoo) and warming towel rack. We stayed here 2 different times. The first night we stayed on the 1st floor. The room was on the smaller side but sufficient for our needs (and by all means, way bigger than some of the other equally priced 2 occupant rooms at other lodgings). The 2nd time, we stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was much bigger but I loved staying there both times. They have black out curtains and windows that open. They also have 2 USB ports near the electrical outlets so that you can charge your iphones (score! ). Complimentary morning breakfast had great variety and was delicious and filling. They have very limited parking spots behind the hotel (about 12 spots) and they fill fast. If filled, there is a parking lot close by that has free overnight parking (just ask the front desk). Front desk is super helpful and nice. There is a small mini bar near the front desk and the bartender makes funny jokes.

The location is great. Pretty centrally located. Good service and delicious breakfast with plenty of choice. In the room, however, could give more storage space and a larger wardrobe (at least for two people) would be great. In addition, the bar is nothing special. We would still recommend it.

Check In & Check Out was a very simple process even though we arrived at 1.30 am. Our room was extremely clean, modern and well equipped. Location is fantastic with a 5 minute walk to the main restaurant area. Staff were very professional and catered to our many needs. Will most certainly revisit.

Wonderful hotel for the price. The rooms are clean and modern, the breakfast is good and the service is friendly and helpful. As a 3 star hotel it has it's limitations of course, like no restaurant, a pretty small bar, but considering the price in comparison to other hotels you would have to pay way more to upgrade.

Really great hotel in a very good location. The staff is very friendly & helpful and takes the time to answer guests' questions. The rooms are very clean and modern. There is free Wi-Fi and a sufficient breakfast.
From the hotel it is about 300 meters to the water. The view is indescribable. The shopping street is also within walking distance of about 5 minutes and offers everything from pharmacies to souvenir shops.
Furthermore, the hotel is located directly at stop 12 and is therefore directly served by the excursion buses and airport shuttles.

Really nice, clean and modern hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious! The bed was super comfy! Pretty good location as well. Really enjoyed my time here.

Happy hour is a great deal at the bar friendliness and quality of work from the staff is uncanny. Staying here was an absolute treat for my trip to Iceland. Noteworthy: No restaurant, no safes in the room. Complementary breakfast was phenomenal with a wide variety of high quality delights. Truthfully I wish I could reserve a review of 6 stars for experiences like these. English speaking staff, they will store your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready (we got there 10am local time and wandered the city). Elevator, automatic doors, wheelchair friendly.

Lovely modern hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. Rooms are clean and warm. Morning breakfasts are buffet style and very nice. Don't go expecting a full English fry-up as you will be disappointed! Only criticism is that the alarm system in the hotel went off every day, but the Hotel are aware of this problem and by the time you read this the issue will hopefully be resolved.

Beautiful, clean hotel with simple and comfortable rooms. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops in Reykjavík, so it was very convenient. They also have a great complimentary breakfast selection! The staff was so kind and friendly.

Great hotel. Comfy, friendly staff, and delicious included breakfast. For the cost it's convenient for tourists, and very comfy. Right by a bus stop for tour companies as well, so in winter we didn't have to stand outside or walk far while it was snowing to wait for our tour buses.

Good. Recently built hotel. Rooms are nice though quite small. Beds are great (note: a longer duvet cover would be good for tall people). Breakfast was good. 20 minutes away from the core center by foot but there are many nice shops and restaurants closer by.

Very clean. Breakfast lovely. Single duvets on double bed doesn't work. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is located in a great location of Reykjavik. Is not quite so huge and thus it almost seems familiar. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful. I would check in again at any time!

Good hotel for business travellers. Located just easy enough to get into town centre or the main roads. If available free parking is also a perk.

Has most things you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are comfy, showers are hot, cleaners are friendly, breakfast is included and is okay. Relatively good value for money. No frills, not fancy, no safe in the room, no room service, but if you're staying in Iceland and want to save some cash to do other things, it's a good place to go.

Very helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and a good breakfast all go a long way to making one's stay here more pleasant. Reasonable rates and close proximity to shopping and sites make it a perfect place.

Very good. Reasonable price, good location. Number 12 bus stop directly outside. All tour operators picked us up from our door.

In the centre of Reykjavik and just 5 minutes walk from the main Street, hotel was always clean, rooms always fresh. Breakfast was great and again staff couldn't be anymore of a help.

Very nice hotel, hotel staff was fun and helpful, and the location was very good (walking distance of downtown Reykjavik). Our room was a standard double. The room itself was small compared to American hotel standards, but not cramped. The hotel was modern as well, everything seemed very new. The included breakfast was filling enough to forego lunch on data we went hiking, which was definitely a bonus considering food prices in the city.

We had a wonderful stay here. Hotel was spotless! Rooms were lovely, bed was so comfortable, TV had a great selection on channels, shower was great. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Truly the best thing about the hotel are the staff! The staff were all amazing, particularly Maria and Daniel who made our stay unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks a million.

Fantastic small hotel just a short walk to the high street and all the sights of the city, 5 min walk to the sea also. Rooms and very clean and new and an all you can eat breakfast gives you a great start to the day, all the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, really enjoyed our stay here, thank you Storm hotel.

Fantastic. We had a balcony room with views of the bay. The rooms are very comfortable. Great shower! Breakfast is included and you can eat as much as you want.

Basic hotel. New and Clean. Small rooms. Reasonable breakfast and bar. Off the main strip a bit so fair amount of walking to the bars and restaurants.

The standout part of our stay was the service. I read about some local Icelandic snacks that I couldn't find. I asked a lady behind the counter and she mentioned that I could them at most supermarkets. We went out for a walk in town for about 2 hours. When we got back the lady handed me box of those snacks and said she went there during her break and bought it for me. She wouldn't accept any money that I offered. This is above and beyond and shows the commitment the staff there has for customer service! The rooms are clean and very well maintained. As with most hotels from Europe there is no alarm clock and fridge. For some reason they also don't have tissue paper. I'd come back to this hotel.

Really loved this hotel. Clean and crisp. And good value for money. Across the road from a beer garden… what more could a beer connoisseur want. Only negative point is that it is a fair walk to the other side of town, where all the interesting restaurants appear to be. I suppose I could have found out how to use the bus service?

Great hotel & very well located. The staff are always very helpful. The bar's happy hour could go on for an hour or 2 extra & surprised it closes at 2300 a bit early by Irish tourist standards.

Hotel rooms are not the largest but fine for a short break although a wardrobe would be nice. The beds are very comfortable though. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. The location is a good base for exploring Rejkjavik — we walked round all the major sites and bank to the hotel comfortably in and 5 hours.

This was a great hotel. Would choose it if coming back to Iceland. The breakfast is great. The staff are great. The hotel is clean. The rooms are minimalist, warm and inviting. The bathrooms are huge and cool. Very close to the main shopping street.

Great hotel with excellent room standard. Friendly staff and good service. Breakfast was alright, not a huge selection but all foods of a higher quality. The temperature in the rooms are quite high so open a window or balcony door. We used a rental car so the garage really did come in handy. I can really recommend this place!
