It's like coming home The hotel is perfect, the rooms, the breakfast and last but not least the staff.

Easy to find and very helpful staff. I would happily recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rekjavik.

On the island's classics, a tiny, cozy family hotel. We had come up about 14:00, but Liedadlo came to us already, so we stood already about 12:00 in the hotel. Mrs. Receptionist told us that our room is not yet ready, but immediately instructed Mrs Upratovačke and has not yet taken us to the coffee room and gave us a few tips for excursions in Reykjavik. Really very nice lady. Mrs Maid was finished in 20 minutes.
The room is very tiny, čali fresh flowers on the bedside tables! Bed comfortable, nevŕzgajúca. The windows have a very interesting opening system — for hooks.
The bathroom has a shower with super water pressure and the water I know to be hot enough! Toilet clean, supplies of towels and toilet paper. For my taste of storage space or in the bathroom or in the room very miniature. In the bathroom we had cosmetics on the ground and in the room to dress on the chair. This is the only little thing To Me "Vadila". There is also a safe, which we gathered.
The overall impression of the hotel very good, although by the main road, through the windows there is almost nothing to hear.

Easy to set up, convenient and nice staff. Easy access to all attractions in Reykjavik.

Good for a very short stay. Avoid the room 101, on the ground floor face to the street. Parking is free, in front of the hotel, and about 25 min to walk to the city centre. Staff is nice and helpful.

Good for a very short stay but was not very comfortable for us. The room on the ground floor faced the street and was just too small. With 2 pieces of hand luggage open it got very tight to walk around the bed. Found garbage on the top shelf, the towels have also seen better times. Parking is free in front of the hotel — and about 25 min to walk to the city centre.

Clean Simple hotel. Easy to reach by car. Shopping facilities also within walking distance.

Small room but clean and warm. Nice welcome with coffee and cakes. The bathroom need some improvements… no radiator, no toilet brush and when you make shower the water goes everywhere even if it is a curtain.

Nice hotel, looks unimpressive on the outside but rooms are a decent size. Bathroom was a bit chilly as no heater in there. Bed was comfy and had a good sleep. Friendly staff and quiet. Breakfast buffet was continental, which was nice. Free coffee and tea 24 hours a day (self service). About 5 parking spaces but they always seemed free. About 20 mins walk to Reykjavik centre.

Love this place! Maria and her staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and are very knowledgeable of the area and activities.

Excellent value choice in Reykjavik! The breakfast is a great value, the rooms are clean and very serviceable and the location is right next to a bus stop.

Hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and decent sized. There is lots to choose from at breakfast. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from downtown Reykjavík and is near to local shops and cafes.

This hotel was very nice, modern. It had a good breakfast included and the staff was nice. In the standard double room there was plenty of space, and everything was nice. The bathroom was a bit small with a cramped shower. There is a balcony overlooking part of the city. The location is outside of what we considered walking distance of the bar and restaurant districts.

Such a great place! Friendly and homely with everything you need. Good distance to city and airport too.

The hotel is not exactly central. But for a short stay with the car ideal. The rooms are very small but clean. In our room the window was not tight and it moved on all the time. Everything else is OK.

Staff is awesome. Breakfast was good. Accommodations are tiny and the pillows are hard.

It's a very cozy and inviting hotel with good service. The location could be a little better but it is not a problem at all.

My wife Irina and I stayed at the Hotel Lotus this past week on our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. Maria the owner in particular was absolutely phenomenal to deal with. She was very accommodating and always helpful with the rooms or information and advice on excursions or local sites to see. The rest of the staff was great as well and always friendly. The rooms were European sized but very tasteful, clean well decorated and furnished nicely as well as the rest of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also great. This was one of the few hotels we could find that even had breakfast provided so the fact that the food was great quality was a huge plus. I'd greatly recommend the Hotel Lotus to anyone staying in Reykjavik. Thanks Maria!

Friendly staff. The hotel rooms are good and the breakfast is greate. The location is better if you want to stay near the road. Long walk downtown.

Great friendly little hotel. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and happy to help with directions and recommendations.

Very nicely furnished, rooms are spacious. The morning buffet is not huge but it is enough. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but no problem. It has enough nearby. Hotel is located in the near center of Recyavik. Wireless available free of charge.

Beautiful hotel! Amazing staff excellent service would highly recommend great value for money the lady is so helpful she helped us with our whole trip to Iceland when we got there and before through email thank you for a great stay will defiantly be back the in future! And also thank you for our champagne and treats xx.

I really enjoyed staying here. I missed my flight and emailed and received a response right away. When I arrived the next morning Maria greeted me and showed me to the dining area and even took the time to describe the wonderful breakfast options. My stay was fantastic. Maria was so helpful in every way possible. The room was adequate and cozy. I highly recommend.

Great little hotel, the place to say in Reykjavik. Feels like a guesthouse with the very helpful and friendly staff, but then has the all the refinement of a big commercial hotel. Hope to stay again.

It's a very nice place to stay in Reykjavik. Very friendly staff, very helpful to get sometimes at the bottom to stop a lot of space. The rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet is served with love.
