My wife and I with our 6 month old made a booking in to Magas hotel 8 months before checking in. For a 130 euro a night hotel, I was vastly dissapointed. Especially as this is realistically just a 1 star hotel. Is this hotel suitable for families? No, the reason being is that there is no space outside to park a rented car. The entrance is also swamped with mopeds and quad bikes with no space to manoeuvre a buggy. Even though we booked this hotel 8 months in advance and informed them that we had a baby, we were given a room at the top of some very steep shallow steps. Lugging a buggy up and down stairs daily was tiring. One of my biggest issues was the shower. Hands down this is the worst shower that I have ever used. The actual shower base is probably about 60cm and the taps are badly designed. Not only is the basin so tiny but the tap protudes so much from the wall that is takes up about a third of the basin space and you are constantly hitting your lower back against it. To add insult to injury, the shower curtain doesn't even go all the way down. There's approximately a 30cm gap from the bottom. This means that the bathroom gets absolutely drenched as water escapes and goes everywhere. Washing our 6 month old in a tiny shower base whilst trying to get into some sort of squad position proved incredibly tiring and painful. It's an accident waiting to happen. Also worth mentioning that the toilet basin was dripping constantly throughout the length of our stay.
