Very lovely family, good food and location. I recommend this place as well if you want to relax and avoid many tourists :) also the best coffee in the world, therefore you have to try the breakfast…

We had such high hopes for out 2nd week of vacation. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to do. We we arrived the owner told us how it had been a long summer abd he was tired. We felt bad for him and you could tell he was exhausted. We had lunch at the hotel and it was very nice. He kept saying "best salad in Europe, best water in Europe. " I found it a bit strange but ok fine. Later in the evening we ate at another restaurant. I am not sure if this irritated him but from then on it seemed like he was unhappy with us. He was very short at every breakfast with us. I have been a waitress and this was really sad. After the breakfast I did not want to have to face him at dinner and have him grouchy with us. So we would eat somewhere else. I kept thinking ok let's eat tonight here at the hotel and give him some business but again he would be grouchy and we would not. Note dinner sre NOT cheap on Corfu. One evenjng we thought let's sit in the bar gave drinks and ice cream with the kids and play cards. Again, we were not felt to feel welcome so at that point I gave up and did not even go to breakfast. The rooms are basic but nice. The view is lovely from the terrace. The beach is quite narrow but the water is clear. They have beds you can take down the beach. If you have a neighbors who likes to listen thui videos on his balcony at night you will hear it from your room. Sadly we had one. The maid was great and very nice. The older woman who cook were also kind.

We were 10 day guests at this property. The very large room with terrace overlooking the sea. Impeccable cleanliness, hearty breakfasts by the sea. It takes a car to get around, but getting back in the evening to an oaseof peace like that is priceless. Beautiful holiday.

Breathtaking views from the room and the dinning table, friendly family business, great food and very clean rooms. Restaurant is on the beach, under blossom trees with the crystal clear water lapping by your feet. Perfect tranquil break! (Also has off-road parking)

A quiet place… beautiful.

The rooms are simple but beautifully kept and clean and with everything you could want, and a view across the Ionian to die for. The views apart, it is the taverna/food side of the equation that dazzles the most, with the very finest of home-cooked dishes prepared and served by the excellent host family — truly the best food we've ever eaten in all the Greek islands. It's this that makes us return again and again to this most hospitable and beautiful of holiday locations.

Akrogiali is the most relaxed and welcoming place we have ever stayed in during our travels and the Monastirioti family are quite simply the most loveliest people we have ever had the pleasure of spending time with…
Thanassis, Fotini & their beautiful daughters Stella & Marianna have perfected hospitality 100% … they all work so hard from morning until night, nothing is too much trouble and our time spent in Boukari is just so chilled… wonderful freshly cooked food, spotlessly clean rooms with 'to die for' sea views, clear blue sea to snorkel and swim in, warmth and lots of laughter
… the perfect place to relax & unwind! we've found our hidden gem and intend to hang on to it, we can't stay away

To the rooms I can not say anything, but that Akrogali is also a taverna!
The tables are situated on a terrace directly by the sea!
The view is terrific!
The food is delicious!
Our special tip: Grilled pork chops! And that, although it is a fish taverna!
Visit is worthwhile!

Rooms very basic but clean, breathtaking views, friendly owners in a family atmosphere. Great food, fantastic sea, ideal for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. Up on the beach, excellent Wi-Fi connection.
