Hotel great. Breakfast delicious. Room large. The only shortcoming is the location, the neighborhood is not exactly beautiful and it is very noisy. But it's just a city hotel. However, the hotel is very central and you have 2 metro lines on your doorstep.

Rooma was small but Clean and new. Good bed. Nice service. Simple breakfast. Close to attractions and metro but not the best neighborhood. Overall good value for money.

Area seems shady, room has no amenities like a water kettle. Walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbors coming in at 1am in the morning after partying. Oh, we could hear the cars on the main road too. Breakfast area was stuffy with no ventilation. Breakfast spread was below average in terms of quality and options. I’m glad I only had to stay there for one night.

Central and very clean, the bathroom is small.

Very centrally located. If you want to sleep with an open balcony door, it's very loud. Street cleaning arrives on time between 22:30-23:00 … There was no wardrobe in our room. Just a niche with a clothes rod and a drawer … We lived out of the suitcase. We got more hangers though so we could hang all the tops. The staff were very friendly! The hotel clean. Breakfast okay. From the hotel we have bought all the sights. Omonia Square was 2 minutes away. Clearly many write, there are a lot of foreigners here … But we just bypassed that over the Omonia place and with that was good. There were no problems, even at night we were both girls on the way. We have just accepted the 5min detour. Price performance totally okay! Recommended!

The hotel is clean courteous staff good breakfast, the TV only takes local and non-satellite channels. Spent the first night in a room with no air conditioning but then we made change considering that the rooms overlook all on the street with shared balcony and the Windows also closed do not implement the din of the street below that also of Night is busy.

The rooms are not bad but the street noise is insufferable, it won't let you rest. You can't eat anything without leaving the hotel, they only have vemding of drinks.

İ don't understand the all negative comments. Very exciting location, close to all central venues, nice, clean room, enough breakfast and very friendly staff. Paying 90 €/night expecting 350€/night standards?

I loved this hotel. Simple but beautiful. The attention is impeccable and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.

It's more 3 stars then 4. But it was clean and everything was oke. Better than other review suggested. We had a room towards the back. The personal was very friendly.

It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, which is definitely not. Cramped, noisy and dubious area. Staff is very friendly though and I can say that it was always clean. For the money of almost €80 the night I expect at a 4 star hotel more.

Aesthetics and design inside the rooms are not really 4 star but works ok for what you need (good bed and good breakfast)

Location is close to metro station. Depending on which staff is working, may not receive the most friendly welcome.

The area around the hotel is very bad but the rooms are good and the staff is very kind. The breakfast room is comfortable but in sunday at 10 there was no food and no service.

1 star is enough for this hotel. They are not professional. Bad and unprofessional guy on the reception. If you are looking for a 4 star hotel don't book the chic hotel.

Not bad location. Small rooms and lobby. Bad breakfast. No usual services aside from room cleaning. It would be acceptable if it's a motel on the road but this one is a four stars hotel!

This is a pretty good hotel although maybe one metro stop away from where you'd prefer to be. The Monastiraki stop would be better. But it's probably cheaper out here.
The hotel is modern and clean. The beds comfortable and the shower/ bathroom good. Breakfast is a good quality continental with plenty to eat.
There are some very dirty streets round the corner but if you stick to the larger roads off Omonia you should be fine.

As I write this I am in the Chic hotel and I can tell you without a doubt, this is a run-down part of town. The graffiti is endless (all over the entire city and not just near this hotel), aggressive panhanderlers beg for Euros daily and, I even saw one guy seemingly shooting up drugs on the sidewalk one night. The streets are poorly lit and often smell like piss. The men's restroom in the lobby didn't have a toilet seat. Now for the good stuff. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is adequate and seems to have been updated recently. The bathroom is wonderfully decorated with new tile. My room is bigger than most European hotel rooms in which I have stayed. The queen size bed was just what I needed since most other European hitels have small beds. I wish my shower head functioned properly though. I found the hotel to be mostly clean but, there are a few areas that need attention. The hotel is within walking distance of all of the big historical sites. No need to buy a ticket for those hop-on hop-off bus tours. All of the front desk staff speak enough English. There are several very affordable restaurants nearby at Omonia Square. With everything considered, I would say you get what you pay for. As long as you don't mind the surrounding area, this is a superb hotel for the price.

Very clean, good service. Nice breakfast. Close to metro station. And to the center. The down side is that the area is not so attractive… And the room is a bit small.

This is exactly what it is. A four star hotel. The rooms are nicely kept and the cleaning staff does a fantastic job. The desk staff was also helpful especially the lady Fani. The Wi-Fi could be faster, at many times its slow because of many people sharing it. The breakfast is also great. The location is close to almost everything, just be careful at night. The reason this hotel does not get five stars is because the night we arrived to this hotel at; we were almost denied letting our 13 year old son stay the night by the man at the desk, Spiros at 2 AM. We put in a request for an extra bed for one of the rooms in advance and the request was not reviewed. We asked if he could have a spare bed moved to the room for the night and he denied it. He also said that there were no other rooms available for the night in which our son could stay and he would have to spend the night in another hotel. This was very frustrating as we were unfamiliar with the area, uncomfortable with letting our son be separated and he was reluctant to accommodate us. He insisted that of the five years of working at this hotel, "There is nothing I can do. " Finally, after an hour of struggle at 3 AM he supposedly called his boss and agreed to let our guest stay in a single room for the night at an additional cost. This felt like robbery. In the morning, Fani fixed this issue and we had no problems the rest of our stay.

Chic place in rough neighborhood. You better wach out in night time.

Hotel is great, the environment is questionable.

Lovely hotel in many respects and got a 3 for 2 offer on the web somewhere so was good value too. If you're sharing rooms with anyone other than partners you may not appreciate the shower design. Headed south directly to the Acropolis and thought I'd teleported into a Bangladeshi slum of some sort! Guys milling around, swapping things covertly and playing around with tin foil squatting behind parked vans.
