Good value for money and very helpful staff. Booking information from Expedia did not match the hotel's information, and the front desk staff was very patient in solving it. Rooms are clean and sufficient choices at the breakfast buffet.

What a nice hotel we was given a big rooms on the sixth floor. Breakfast is good with lots to choose from. Staff are all very welcoming you with a smile. Close to the main attractions but not to close.

This is a great and terrible location. Room was very spacious good amenities like fitness room and sauna. There is a breakfast and a bar here. The only bad thing was good/bad thing was location very very close to train stop in fact hotel is the building next to it. Good thing easy to get here and get around city. Bad thing you may need ear plugs if you are a light sleeper trains stop at around 0100ish-0600ish ask me how I know. Overall great hotel I would stay again for sure.

Dinner could be better his room are actually nice if the air conditioning would work properly. That there was no coffee at the bar and the ice cream for Coktails was all and the next day there was still no ice cream I don't want to mention here. Staff very friendly breakfast fine no more also not.

Although location on the Ring, located in Cologne, still very far to walk to the Zoo. Restaurant nearby rather less to garn. Room large with Air Conditioning as windows do not go open. Equipment 80/90 Years style and kept dark. Bath with Tub in need of getting used to if only want to take a shower. Very high Exit — risk Of Accident very high due to Slip Hazard tiles. Breakfast well everything you have at Home can be found here as well. Resufficient For weekend excursion. For Holidays, 1 Week is more likely to do no.

Great service. Very large and spacious rooms. Cleanliness has been really very good.
Fridge didn't do and what I think is a shame the rooms are carpeted.
Bathroom also very large, shower despite 6th floor enough pressure.

Parking is a disaster, parking garage just for small car just big enough, disabled people have to run wide, as parking spaces of employees near the entrance already occupied. Unsuitable for wheelchair users, because of many stairs.
Disabled people do not come, but otherwise good equipment, large clean and good rooms, breakfast very good.

Great hotel in a good location. Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is quite good with many choices. The onmy reason i'm not giving 5 stars is because the free internet is limited yo 600mb per day, and that just doesn't make sense in this modern age.

Super central and inexpensive hotel with friendly staff. Hansaring stop right in front of it, but this means that train traffic is not overheard at night. One star less because of the noise, otherwise highly recommended. Large room with quite large bathroom.

So we thought the hotel was very good. The rooms were very nice and really spacious and comfortable. At the reception, the staff was also very nice and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and there was a lot really on offer. Unfortunately we were only there one night, but it was nice. Deduction only because of a nearby track, on which trains rattle even at night, but it didn't bother us that much.

Convenient location one stop from Hbf by S-Bahn (or 10 minute walk) ; large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and blackout curtains; great breakfast with lots of choice.

A very pleasant hotel : large, clean rooms, delightful breakfast, pleasant staff. Beware that the bar doesn't take card payments for some reason. Very handily situated for the historic centre of town.

Top hotel cheap with good breakfast. Very close to the cathedral. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area.

Perfect hotel to walk around… Large room and bathroom, clean the top is the breakfast… Only flaw in my room facing the railroad so a bit of noise but you can get used to the…

Pure City Hotel. Even if it has four stars, I would only have three. No practical wardrobes for longer stays. Man can hardly stow anything, lives out of the suitcase. Bathroom was not great clean for me, so went. Wellness and fitness area could have been saved, or only one of both should take. Beds are too short for people larger than 190 and not exactly comfortable.

A hotel with big but loud rooms, pretty good breakfast and kind service.

The rooms are very nice and large. The free Wi-Fi is an imposition so you can't do anything and better Wi-Fi needs to be paid in a 4 star hotel. The location also allows to wish directly on the train which is very noisy all night. No quiet night is possible without an indoor room.

Good location and at the same time also bad location. On the one hand close to the city, on the other hand the train parking directly behind the hotel. From just after 5 o'clock in the morning is ranked and the night passes by. The hotel itself is OK but the breakfast is good.
But always take a room to the courtyard.

Bit basic — no coffee in the room for example… Bit dated. But spacious and 15 minutes walk to cologne station and to the edge of the 'main town'. A little bit of train noise in the evening but didn't disturb my sleep. Very large room (maybe I got lucky? ) And generally the hotel seems nice and classy with glass elevators and wooden floors downstairs. For a central hotel at a good price I was happy. Similar to holiday inn quality. Good business travel. Tram stop right outside is very useful. 2 stops along and you are right in the middle of the bars.

Very pleasant and quiet hotel and therefore ideal for seminars. The single room was almost huge, on the whole clean and well maintained. The pillow here could not be used, so better bring your own or ask at the reception if you can exchange it. The food was very balanced. For lunch there was always a choice between fish, meat or vegetarian.

Very nice! Only drawback: glass door to the bathroom in a double room. May not be suitable for non-couples. Very friendly staff, good service, delicious breakfast and very central location, nevertheless quiet. Clean and cozy.

A hotel that has come into the years. We were given a smoking room unasked (where by the way there was no findable ashtray in the room, so we could not explain the smoke first). In addition, the flushing in the room throughout the night. Four stars did not deserve this hotel in my opinion for a long time.

It was our second visit and we were thrilled again. The rooms are large, bright and clean. The central location is very good. You can find all sorts of shops nearby to shop the S Bahn is also not far away so you can reach everything quickly.

The rooms are nice. I would not comment on the sport and sauna equipment that In did not try. The rooms are clean. Bathrooms as well. Quite well located, it is easy to find a few nice place to eat around.

Very disappointed at a 4 star hotel that they interrupted us on 2 occasions. Once at 5pm to clean the windows and once at 10am to clean the room before our midday checkout (despite a do not disturb sign)

To be found just a few yards from the station, don't be put off by the appearance from the outside. Inside on the ground floor the reception staff are marvellous and will help you find your way around. Up in a high speed lift the rooms are fantastic. Well furnished with lots of little extras to make your stay comfortable.

Is a very good location, right near the S-Bahn station. Rooms are very nicely decorated and everything you need is there. Breakfast is great, there is something for everyone. Always happy.

Great nice rooms. Clean and quiet. Sauna and central location near the main train station. There is ample parking in the car park. Breakfast good, only the choice of bread and buns could be improved. The bar is nice and has up until about 11pm, but no food.

Really lovely hotel. Industrial feel, mininalistic. Staff are courteous and knowledable. Really good spread for breakfast. Continental as they say. Excellent facilities and a stones throw from the Cologne Dome.

Located just 1 train stop north of Cologne Central station, the hotel has a very convenient location. All the necessary amenities are there, although I would prefer they provide a better breakfast.

After exactly seven minutes in the waiting loop I was told in broken German, "I am alone at reception. Can you call later? Ok? and Clack.

Was pleased with the hotel. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was good.
The hotel is well accessible by car, but there is also a lot of traffic. The train station didn't bother me very much.
At night you should keep the windows closed on the street side.

Got an upgrade to a nice suite. Very quiet considering the location. The carpets are a bit spotty and breakfast could be better. But overall worth the money.

The Rooms where really huge, you've got so much space this was amazing. They where tidy and clean, had nice Interieur. You've got an whater Boiler in each room and Shampoo and a small Lindt Chocolate Heart so cute cause the Lindt Headquarter is in Colone. There is Always somebody at the reception (at nicht too) which you can aks questions and they are really friendly and helpful. The Location ist really Central near the Dome.

Itz very near to restaurant,, shopping mall,, train transit,, metro,, itz the centre of berlin,, itz decorative & itz facilities are good.

Clean, neat, good breakfast choices — very German. Media Park is couple minutes away and Cathedral is maybe 10-15 by foot. Internet is from the Dark ages, only 512 kbit\s and with 600MB limit but of course You can alway pay and upgrade. Even free city Wi-Fi is better an more available.

Just about Your average downtown hotel: Neither bad nor fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful but not outstandingly forthcoming. The rooms have the common amenities and are in average shape. No surprises, reasonable value.

Old 3 star hotel. Good location. 10 minutes walk to DOM, Rhein and hauptbahnhof. Room is fine. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Everything is working. My room is on the 5th floor but view is blocked. Hotel is just next to the rail road from right so make sure get a room on the opposite side. Lots of Turkish restaurants in the neighborhood. Getting to parking was really a challenge turn around through narrow lanes four floors to get to the roof top! Overall worth the price. Parking is expensive. 17 EUR.

Nice clean and neat hotel. Nice welcome. Small flat It is just glued to a train station but you get used to the noise of trains quickly. :-)

Although at first impact it may seem cold and not cozy, the hotel turns out to have large rooms, although not modern, but breakfast quite complete. Excellent location to visit the city.

Very nice place to stay. I strongly recommend to choose this hotel. Rooms are clean. I had a chance to stay in surprisingly big room with king bed. Breakfast is very very good and very varied! Staff is helpful and is able to advice how to move in Cologne. Internet connection is free but only 600 MB daily. For more you have to pay.

Nice, modern hotel in a historical building.
One of few Paternoster lifts that still exist in Germany are fully functional available.
The Azimut hotel is well maintained. The room prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Very nice modern hotel just in front of train stop close to the centre of Cologne. But there is not possible to open windows so avaliable is only air from ventilation system which will make you dead if you stay more then 3 nights. I booked a room for 5 nights and just left after 3rd, was feeling really bad, my eyes were so dry that I couldn't sleep, my throath as well. When I was going out I felt strange breathing fresh air… STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO COMMIT SLOWLY SUICIDE.

More like suitable for a business trip than a family vacation, this is still an enjoyable place to spend a few days if in Koln. Staff are very nice — everyone speaks English. Breakfast is decent.

Location was great right next to a station and still walkable to hb. Room was big and clean. Free internet was crap so I bought the premium, but rest of the facilities were great. Breakfast was good too.

Very clean everything, Breakfast was good, selection could be a little more. A relatively small TV. Bathroom and rooms are modern and of high quality. I would book it again.

The hotel is located nearby a large train station and the Dom cathedral is only 1 km away. TV is rather small compared to the size of the room and the warm water wasn't having a consistent temperature. Wi-Fi was rather slow. There's a large breakfast area with a width variety of choice's. Coffee however wasn't made from freshly ground beans.

Well it would certainly get 5 stars if they offered free Wi-Fi in the rooms instead of paying 7 euro/day. There is free Internet on the first floor however. The rooms are bigger than the reception (big rooms) and very nice as well. Could use a mini fridge in the room as well. A pair of flip flops maybe? Still, I recommend it.

Great location, easily walkable to downtown. The train stop is 20 meters. Spacious, pleasant overall. I didn't like the reception, cold and unwelcoming. Recommended for business trip.

We have booked 2 double rooms for one night in Cologne, at the check-in they informed us that it would have to make every guest, but it has unfortunately taken us. There is only one double but it has us ordering beds with pure set. We should pay but still two double rooms, we got free breakfast but.
So we were two couples, in a double room with a glass door to the bathroom. Never again.

Average hotel. Wifi costs money and is slow. Situated on a metro line which makes accessing the centre easier.

Negative: — at the location of the hotel, should one be aware that many young (drunk) party people in the area is underground, kiosks, and appropriate.
-The hotel staff was rude and incompetent (wanted despite booking a double room a "twin" for which we should independently compose the beds offer us; something emphatically, we got our right, if also quite willing to again).

Summary
We also Hotel were 4 star the previous day in a (Pullman), we give this hotel a direct comparison only 3 stars. Would the price we got however, €65 online booking, for a night, and two people, the hotel of the prize money worth 4 stars.

Truly a class hotel. Everything very clean and absolutely straightforward. The location is also great, 15 minutes to the Cathedral. What is a bit daft, the hotel own parking cost €15 per day.

Top price. For a kurztrip in Cologne real class. Very nice big rooms and very friendly staff. The only shortcoming is the paid parking garage.

Will stay there again when in koln.

Very large, modern rooms, very clean, good breakfast, free LAN/Wi-Fi, very close to the metro and train stations, 10 minute walk to the Dom. The only problem would be if you get a room with the view to the rail tracks, but even then the noise won't wake you up.

I live here always happy for a long weekend! No Wi-Fi in the rooms, only lan. Own routers bring ;-).

This hotel had large modern rooms at a great price. Within walking distance of the Dom and the HBF. I had a quiet room on the interior. The hallways are labyrinthine and the doors have no peepholes. Good, pleasant service.
