Clean, comfortable rooms with a really nice service crew and assorted animals living in a kennel in the backyard. I had a good stay.

On the 5th floor under the roof you can cut the air! The water runs out of your body, you can't dry out that fast!

It's a lovely location. The station is close. The no. Good waifai. There's a bar downstairs.

Any live music event in or connected to the hotel! 08. On 09.06.2018 at night still 00:51 o'clock and on the 2nd floor very loud to hear! Sleeping despite severe fatigue was not possible before 2 a. M. After a friendly request at the bottom of the bar, the music was even turned off at 1 a. M. Leiser would have been enough.

The next night from Saturday to Sunday was, as expected, music down in the pub, but noticeably more pleasant. Sleeping was no problem this time!

Otherwise the hotel is clean and very tidy. The service is exemplary!

The rooms are already in the years and the bathroom is partially dirty. The food didn't taste so good and there was a burnt soup and at the breakfast was served older sausage and cheese with hard rim. But what was positive was the good situation. And to the partially nice employee.

The room is very dirty and very dusty and the staff is sometimes very unkind. A soup we have been served burned. Dogs from the owner walk around in the food hall while the people are at the food. Little choice at breakfast.

Refreed, soups totally salted.
In the showers everything full of mold and from all the drains it stinks.
The beds are uncomfortable and dirty.
In the rooms it stinks and the windows are very over.
The staff is often unkind apart from 2. And the owner.
Dogs barking everything.
Very overpriced water (5€ 700ml) doors you can almost not complete and have to be closed very laboriously.
Showers are also very tight and old.
In some rooms, the TV doesn't work and many things fall apart.
It is only done once clean and the floor is mostly stained and dirty before visiting.
From a scale of 1-10 (bad too good) I would give — 4.
Terrible.

It was just terrible: — You come in, there is — the photos are not allowed, yes, why only.
— It smells like wet dog, so extreme it even bothers me (even though I have dogs of my own).
— dried plants on each floor — bathroom full of hair and dirt, a smell of Wadden Sea and dirt.
— very loud, it will still be played with the dogs in the yard at 10pm.
— clairvoyant — Total, broken carpet, got old in the years and not been cared for.
Just a shame how the guest is treated there. Unkind boss.

OK for one night. Simplest old-fashioned equipment. But clean. Clean. No bright light. Just burned. Flashlight required. Funny Carpet runners. Shower modest. Price good. Very good location. Food and drink in the house and neighborhood. Railway station vis a bis. Little traffic noise. Background noise from the pub downstairs. Nice reception!

Clean and good located for someone going to trade show.

The room was really dirty and smell was really bad. Only good thing in this hotel is location. I don't recommend this hotel not at all.

Room was not so nice, smelled from the toilet awful and in itself the furniture as well as the toilet very old (Mozzart time see curtains), the bed was located or The slat grate broken through. Other rooms, on the other hand, looked better than that. What good was the connection to Deutz Station and the Lanxess Arena as well as the staff.

Very centrally located hotel. Old Town and Lanxess within easy walking distance. The hotel has a pub and a bar.

Several times there have been guest, always very nicely served. Price-performance for Deutz at the location perfectly reasonable, price-performance if man-woman Durst or a morsel needed very well. Mood has always been cheerful and so far excellent. Some time and some Kölsch to spend at the bar is stressed for better than any therapy. I can recommend it to anyone.

After the toilet cistern falling off the wall the management were overly rude and went as far as accusing me and my partner of vandalising the place. Replication of fawlty towers.

The rooms are clean and cozy furnished, furniture also all the newer date. That is basically the most important thing in my opinion. However, the renovation work has been made very very amateurish (wallpapers, tiles, faucets, electricity etc). We had a room in the direction of the train station, here it was quite noisy, windows had to stay closed. The hotel is generally recommended, but with one or the other limitation.

Well our experience at this hotel was terrible, misleading publicity, the pictures do not correspond with the interior of the rooms. We never perceive so much lack of courtesy on the part of the staff. We encasquetaron a room from the 50 years with a children's sink and a shower with bumpers when the rest of the rooms we could see were refurbished. It does not work Wi-FI or TV x cable, we go a trompe l'œil. Run away before you come to this Holel.

Never again! Carpet full of stains, rooms very inhabited. TV and WLAN do not work. After complaint we were offered another room, but would have paid 20 EUR more! Unfortunately we made the big mistake and paid in advance. Won't happen to me anymore. The operator does not collect and keep his price-performance promise! Criminal action!

Well… it's good for a night or two. It was OK for the price I payed. It's clean but not up to date. The mattress is unbelievably soft. They give you a voucher for a free beer for the pub downstairs. I can't complain about anything. If you're looking for a place to sleep while touring the city — this is good. If you're looking for a nice vacation hotel to kick back and relax or want a modern room with AC, fridge and a big TV — this is not it.

Small cozy rooms, clean. Nice management people.

Their service was really good. I liked the way they treated us during our stay. The rooms look great too!

Needed a cheap hotel with good location in Cologne for a night.
Location:
within sight to the Bahnhof Deutz — just perfect! Also a few restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. One finds the Skada very fast and is also within a few minutes on the 'right' side of the Rhine.
Room & clean:
I had a quiet room to the backyard. It was really clean, the institution has come however in the year. However very clean and had everything you needed. Actually very "charming".
Shower curtains are what I liked (like in all hotels of the world) unfortunately not. And the rooms are actually somewhat suspicious.
Conclusion:
Charming, small and friendly hotel in a top location at fair price. If you can see on the establishment and a few small flaws throughout it is recommended. I can't say anything to the catering trade, used the hotel only for overnight.
Paid I have for one night by the way, 39, 00€ (about HRS 5% Cologne "Tourist tax", without breakfast).

Old and tatty, needs a refurb badly. Staff nice and friendly, but carpets bare and not a cheap place to stay (€200 B&B although I did book last minute in fair season). It's clean enough, but the facilities are lacking. Little things like no shampoo or shower gel and extortionate charges for Wi-Fi. I won't stay here again, despite it being practically next door to the Messe.

The location was good as it was near the railway main station. The room, though small, is neat and tidy. But the lift was a drawback in that it did not go to the any floor of the hotel direct, one would need either go up or down one flight of the staircase to go to the room. This was not user friendly especially when the customer moved in he needed to drag his/her luggage through the staircase to the room and do the same when checking out. There was only one receptionist when I moved in and she did not speak English. Hence, there was virtually hardly any communication at all on my checking in. Luckily on the next day I met another receptionist who spoke English. There was no free Wi-Fi which hampered customer's external communication.

The hotel staff are very nice and the location is perfect for visitors. Unfortunately, Breakfast is totally overpriced (Breakfast 12, 50 € for a couple of fried eggs) and the rooms smell musty. A Standard such as Wi-Fi costs 2.50€ an hour is absolutely ridiculous. For one night ok, but longer definitely not.

Very nice staff and for a short break in Cologne suitable super. On foot you can quickly access to the centre and the Lanxess Arena is nearby. The price performance ratio is super. I shall gladly come again.
