THEY STOLE $2100 from my safe in the hotel. do not even book with them.

The hotel was too hot. Granted, it was hot outside too, and they don't claim to have airco. Still, it was so unbearably hot in the hotel that we had to book another hotel with airco. I didn't ask for any kind of refund, being too near a heat stroke to think or argue properly, but I wasn't offered it either. The parking spaces are cramped. It was noisy, you could talk through walls. In other circumstances it may be good value for money, for us it was wasted money.

Room was ok, asked for a spoon for my daughter and they gave me dirty cutlery. Looking for something I noticed that they dont vacuum under the beds.

Price is good. Is close to the centre. Is clean. Both German and narrow are spoken. Point Deductions due to longer Waiting Because the Hotel did not find the Booking over the Internet. Further Deduction because the Payment on Site proved to be difficult because card Device has almost not accepted a Card.

Very friendly staff 5 stars ⭐️ Located within 10 min walking distance to public transport (KVB) and near to the shopping areas such as (nuemarket). The bathroom is a bit small specially the shower. The room is good for a very quiet sleep with no air conditioning (just open the window and go to sleep with nature). Breakfast is just ok. There is kiosk next to the hotel you can get a very good coffee at a very reasonable price.

Location central. Staff friendly. Cleanliness can be improved in real terms, but is improved in a timely manner after complaint. Breakfast I can't judge, but in the immediate neighborhood plenty of options. As a "place to sleep" completely sufficient.

The rebooking to another room, as the assigned one was right on the ground floor next to the reception, was hassle-free. The staff are very friendly.
The room was large, but not very clean (next to the bed, for example, lay. A crown cork that still dalag after 3 days).
The room was quiet. But unfortunately without any curtains.
Breakfast is O. K. The tight parking spaces for EUR 22 per day are far too expensive.
The location is very central.

For the price everything tip top. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was all there. Gladly again.

I like is a quiet place …

My room was smelly, dusty and dirty (cobwebs everywhere). Not to mention stains of unknown (maybe for the best) orgin on walls, visible against the light. Room with iron and ironboard had broken lighting — good luck with ironing your shirt for next day at the evening. I didn't expected much and I still got disappointed, especially that stay there it is not that cheap.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean nice room. Good beds. Gladly again.

Hotel halfway between center and university in the area full of shops and restaurants we stayed for a week in three in this hotel simple and unpretentious but in a great location between the university and the center. With two tram stops 1 or 7 you will arrive in Heumarkt, with 1 in Neumarkt and with two at the university. From Neumarkt with two other Metro stops you will arrive at the Duomo or at the station (adjacent).
We used a triple, not huge, but enough. Bathroom with bathtub with a little high edges to climb over to take a shower.
On the landing in front of the room, a little closed, there was a bit of bad smell, but not in the room or in the other spaces.
We did not partake of breakfast (€9, 00), preferring to eat at the nearby Kamps. The breakfast room is under the road plan. Staff Despite the freezing days, the room was well heated.
Good value for money. Spent €320, 84 in three for 5 days.

In the old town. Good beds. However, hardly any parking spaces. Otherwise recommended.

A no frills hotel in a good position for Karneval. Rooms were clean, good shower, fairly quiet, no complaints.

Worst experience ever. The staff were friendly but the manager was just RUDE. She had an attitude that she thinks the owns the place. Maybe she does but who care's we paid for a room and her duty was to put even a fake front. Room was super small, and with no hot water, in the middle of winter. Bad bad bad. Please pay a little extra and choose another hotel. This was just a bad experience.

The room is very clean and the bathroom is a little bit more. Very comfortable bed (double with double) and fully functional heating. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance with the car.

We stayed there for a night, the reception was friendly, the room quite small for 4 people, double bed + sleeper sofa for the kids. The cleanliness left much to be desired, from socks from the previous guest to the hairpin and toothpaste leftovers was to be found. For the price I demand no luxury but clean it should be.

Price performance OK.
The first impression when coming pur-coming was good. We were received here in a friendly way, even by various staff over two days. Surely it also depends on how to face them.
The ascent to Room 105 on the first floor, took us through a few doors, somewhat tight but okay.
The room makes a good modern impression. Clean but not pure, in terms of dust on the bedside lamps as well as water stains on chrome-plated parts in the bathroom.
The bathroom with shower was also okay, although tile mirrors were very cracked.
You could see paint on curtains, doors and tiles in some places, which are probably left after renovations.
As told price performance nonetheless good at 53, — the night.
Additional 9, 90 breakfasts, which was very good and adequate.
You can recommend it if you don't come by car, as there are not enough parking spaces or you have to tow 200m further to the car park and the suitcases.

Living like with Mutti. The beds are comfortable. Great location when you are travelling somewhere on the rings at night. Visually, something is getting in the years. For the price, however, I would choose this hotel every time.

Small and quiet hotel close to the store, station. Breakfast in the morning a little simple.

Centrally located in the City of Cologne. Rooms are simply furnished. BAD has an outdated standard. Early breakfast is good.

My stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, customer service after my stay was terrible. I left an important document in the room and called to the hotel to find out if they found it. First call was at night and the guy who answered the phone told me to call again next morning at 7. I did, a lady told me they found it and when I asked to mail them to my home town at my own expenses she told me she had to talk to a colleague and asked me to call back at 8. I did but couldn't get an answer from the hotel but from a call center of the Novum Hotel group. I have called several times and they are never able to connect to the hotel. Last guy asked me to send an email. I did but there was not answer. At the end, I just desisted of calling (and spending more money in international phone calls) and assume the consequences of having lost the document.

Clean with good service. Spoke English well. Rooms are a bit small but serviceable. About what you'd expect from a budget chain like a Premier Inn. Easy walking distance from central shops. Area is a bit downmarket, but it's a real party area with lots of bars within a couple of blocks, including a few gay bars. If you want something cheaper and livelier, the hostel around the corner seems to be a party hostel with a big crowd in the lounge.

Hotel Well located, quiet and a good price and a safe, which many in Germany do not have this.

Bath could be more clean. Service is good and helpful. Hotel located 20 mins to the central City (by feet).

Hotel and room was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed that there was no coffee in room or lobby and they charge 4 €. For bottle of water in room. Also they provide breakfast at 13 € a little steep.

Decent for the price we payed, no ac in our room though, staff was very nice and helped us with a few things. The rooms need to be renovated.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast with fresh products. Personel is friendly. My bed was a bit stiff though. For the rest, close to the citycenter.

The hotel is not bad. It does not have many additional services, but all necessary; breakfast, sauna, tour… The rooms are very good, although the bathroom is quite small. Have a shower instead of a bath and in addition is quite small. The location is quite convenient, because is near the metro stop.

A good place to stay at. Beds were as soft or hard as in other hotels. The room was clean and large enough. The toilet in our room seemed to be older, like from before a renovation. No biggie, but you know, worth to note.

Consider something different. Room small and dirty. Receiption doesnot even bother himseşf forr hot water. No smile. I wonder why ı stayed here.

Cleanliness is absolutely to be desired! The beds are filled with black hair, the doorknobs dirty and admit and massively many urine stains are on the edges of the toilet! The curtains hang down and are not again wisely hung up. Definitely, the room was not cleaned before arrival! The staff without a smile or a ' good morning '! In the stairwell, it plummets over laundry mountains. Never again!

A hotel for a night for a business trip.

Is a nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room slightly small but perfectly adequate. Everything is clean but unfortunately no parking.

Be careful there are traps in your room. First, you can find a welcome bottle on the desk. But, it equips a price tag. I've never seen a welcome bottle with price tag lol. Who anyone pay 4 euro for a water bottle? Second, the room is smaller than the photos on their website. Where should I put my a carry bag? Third, why the towel already got wet before I use it? Thank you for exciting traps. I will not reserve Novum Hotel again.

very clean overall. Comfortable room. Room was very small but adequate. The hotel is located close to a noisy Street.

Cheap, cheerful, comfortable and very clean. An abundant breakfast is provided until 11am daily. The Staff are friendly and helpful. Found the location to be perfect in a quiet street close to Neumarkt and Rudolfplatz for U-Bahn and trams. That said it's a pleasant walk to the town centre and many other beautiful places nearby. I would definitely go back here. There is a safe in the room, flat screen tv, plenty of clean towels and soap/shower gel is provided. The rooms are well sound proofed and external noise is minimal. There is no air conditioning which would be a necessity in high summer.

Staff were not very helpful and unfriendly, have already paid the room was, despite the late arrival, not ready yet.

2 nights right in the bars area, 10 Minutes from the centre of the city, for 25€ per Person / night. Impeccable rooms, Deluxe continental Breakfast and newly furnished rooms. Apparently, the inclusion in the group of the Novum hotel the Standard is being raised.

Hello, I stayed in the hotel for two weeks and would like to share my experience there. Breakfast for 5 euros, every morning it is the same option on the table. After few days I decided to use soma cafe near hotel. I paid for two weeks, but for some reasons had to make earlier check-out. According cancel policy I should get 20% daily rate back, but it was not so easy. Next time I will not stay there.

With relatively small rooms can you live. However, should the bed linen clean. In the room at the 3.3.13 arrived the duvet with small blood stains and long black hair. Something I experienced so far in no Hotel. Otherwise, there is no further point of criticism.

You get what you want from a budget Hotel expect can. The decor is nothing special, everything is already a little into the years came. But it is convenient and clean. No luxury, but everything you need for an Overnight stay needs. The Breakfast is normally a Buffet with different meats and cheeses, Sweets, Egg, cereals, juices. The room, unfortunately, had the trash can not emptied and me 2 small towels instead of a small and a large in the room. I had a hot deal at the I per night with Breakfast for a single room 36 Euro had paid. At this price, is the price-performance ratio is unbeatable, especially for this Central location. I have this in my assessment. In the Internet there are some prices that are twice as high, but I would the Hotel not book, as you get better.
