Great location, only 2 min. To the cathedral and musical. Unclean room info. Bathroom. Idea of furnishing /ambient good if it were clean. In the house hung a note that is being renovated, but you have not noticed anything about it.

Typical good german hotel: clean rooms, delicious sausages, muesli and cheese for breakfast. Staff speaks German and English (someone even Russian). The place of the hotel is a perfect accommodation: all the town sights are maximum two kilometres far from, main railway station. WI-FI works excellent.

Next to the train station. Friendly staff. Breakfast is good.

The toilet was not so clean. Good location. The room was ok.

Rooms small and not really clean. Breakfast room too small and too cramped. The cold cuts are cheap pre-packaged goods. But for a weekend getaway good and cheap and location is very good.

Booked this (hotel checked in by key drop at front door as reception that should have been open was closed. Got key went up to room and checked out as bathroom was in lobby bare essentials in room). (Would not recommend) more of a hostel than a hotel.

The location is fine, the rest an imposition. The hammer was the breakfast. Too little tight shaky seating and the food was also not much better.

Good location if ostoetes for one day. Near railway station. Breakfast is not bad. But the cleaning in the room failed. It was obvious that we forgot to get out. The room is warm. But for 100 euros for 2 rooms is quite good.

Good location, clean, beds were very comfortable. Nothing fancy. Breakfast was okay, typical German style… cereal, cold meats, cheese, bread rolls etc. Only downside is that we were in room 11 which is at the front of the hotel by the entrance… guests would stand outside smoking which if we had the window open would make our room smell (both of us are non-smokers). Otherwise a great hotel to use as a base to see Cologne.

No elevator, room partly dirty, bed (mattress) located. Breakfast disaster.

Once and never again! Dirty, too small rooms, very unpleasant smell in the bathroom. Very noisy, breakfast very spartan and not delicious very overpriced!

Hello, not pleasant experience. Good location, very poor hygiene (in the bathroom you could see hairs from others that already passed X the hotel), Breakfast: You can observe leftovers from previous days, an hour before it ends and it is not reposed and many only ate bread. Nice bed. The language I had no problem because they speak Spanish. But you should pay a little more and enjoy a nice vacation. If you come to this hotel and you run out of breakfast and/or you stay out like us because there is no one to assist you if you arrive after 20:00 HS do not claim you are warning.

Disaster… it's enough musty… haate on bed and bath disgusting… One star is enough.

Good location, but that's it too. Lots of dirt and dirt in the room, beds crashed at all corners and ends, breakfast very manageable. Check in did not work straight away (booking code did not work). Operators spoke poorly German (were zumimdest friendly). I'm not going to book here anymore.

Hotel is located right in the city centre with a 2 minute walk from the train station. The Christmas markets are about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of items and drinks. The room was nice and have a safe, all the staff we met where kind and friendly.

It is close to the station and the center so well served but the breakfast is very poor and not at all international. In our case we came back in the evening and the key was left in the safe box outside.

The value for money is more than adequate. Small room with no frills but duvet and pillow very comfortable. Heating and plenty of hot water. Breakfast of 6 over 10. Very good location.

Everything was cool, lovely place near the central station, kinda quiet and clean. Recommended.

Stayed during gamescom. Room smelled like urine. Toilet stopped working and received no assistance. Central location and friendly but not helpful staff.

Located near the rail station and cathedral, making it easily walkable. There are plenty of good restaurants close by too.

Nice, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. To get inside is a little complicated, because the reception is almost always closed and we lost much time trying to understand which was the "pin" we should put to obtain the keys.

Very recommended as the place ia near the station, the bed room is quite big, clean.

This was the worst hotel! if I had two more arms I would give it four thumbs down! check out originally said 12… but because it was a bank holiday the told us we needed to check out by 10:30. We askd if we could pay extra and leave out luggage… nope! they wanted to leave by 1, and there wouldnt be any staff there. What hotel doesnt have staff there?. The bathroom constantly had a foul odor. The Wi-Fi barely worked. The staff was completely rude. I dont know if we caught them on an off day, but this is not a good place to stay for the money. Zero stars if I could…

We were in room 35 and upon arrival the bathroom after cesspool smelled (Windows were not open). There were each day clean towels and the beds were freshly made. The Hotel is old, the staircase (no lift) with old carpet laid down, and it smells musty. The rooms are not clean. Clairaudient and exterior (window) relatively loud. Equipped with Safe, hair dryer, wardrobe, kettle with Instant coffee and sugar, free Wifi, Shampoo and a TV is enough. Saturday to 21 clock was the drill kicked in. In our opinion, the beds and the pillows very soft. The TV had poor to no reception. Breakfast — until 10:30 PM — was with 5€ p. P. Is calculated. The first morning at 10 a. M. For Breakfast. Partially cleared and, on request, with regard to Butter, came annoyed the answer. A lot of choices: scrambled eggs, omelet on Toast, meatballs, sausage and cheese, different spreads, juice, bread and so on, the Aufbackbrötchen and Croissants were cold and Dry. On departure, we wanted 10 € for the second Breakfast to cancel and there was nothing more to be done, as has already been paid. The location of the hotel is very good. 5-10 min to the main STATION and the Cologne Cathedral and Musical Dome. Otherwise, no recommendation from our side. Fri-sun incl Breakfast, tourism & VAT 146, — €. It was a Deal, since we have 9 months before the visit is booked.

We arrived in Cologne we decided to stay here due to its favourable position. Breakfast plentiful and good. Clean spacious and equipped with all the necessary comforts. Staff great.

We — elderly couple — were very satisfied with the Hotel! Room Service-friendliness of the Boss : Fr. Müller — Very good Breakfast, and "FRIEND CIPPI" was very funny and entertaining! Location of Hotel : near v. Cathedral and shopping streets ideal for Strolling and Shopping. Happy again.

BEWARE, looks are deceiving HERE: run-down rooms, broken faucet in the bathroom, broom closet-large rooms, calcified shower — showers are not possible! I was early in the Morning from the building works aroused! Hotel owner very unfriendly! NO PARKING and high Parking fees in the entire vicinity! THE LÄSTIGSTE is a DOG in the Breakfast room, everywhere hineinschnuppert and the dog hair on all Seating areas — very unhygienic! Aufback-Bröttchen at Breakfast were raw also the neighbor! 0815 Flophouse! NOT recommended — better to AVOID.

Great little Hotel in perfect area, max. 3 min. Through the STATION to the Cathedral and in the heart of Cologne! We were all very warmly received. (From the Boss to the janitor! ) The room and bathroom were clean and the beds are comfortable. (No uncomfortable mattresses as in other Hotels) The Breakfast was really great. Of bread, rolls over granola to hot food, as, for example, Small sausages, meatballs, scrambled eggs, Fried eggs, and much more, all to count beyond the frame here! On the greeting of the total love Haushundes Chippi, we were especially. It makes the whole thing very familiarity! We could not find dog hair, as so many here has written! It was a great time there and we come back guarantee.

Small Hotel located in the absolute city (max. 5 min. Through the STATION to the Cathedral). Rooms are clean, practical and small, Bad sufficient enough and clean. Breakfast and for the right class, but here is the flaw: The Haushundchen Chippi (very sweet and cute) is called the Breakfast room of his own. On chairs and Sit in dog hair.
