New looking and very pretty hotel. Every room appears to be differently laid out so the whole effect is not soulless like the big hotels. Some rooms have a balcony or a view over wittenburgplatz. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping do a though and professional job. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. I never eat hotel breakfast so I can't comment on that, the red wine at the bar is great though. The only annoying part is that they keep closing the bar on Sunday. Sunday is when I'm most likely to want to go to the bar!

The hotel is very clean and appealing and the location is great. The rooms are clean, modern and well kept. There are no cupboards, slippers etc in the rooms, so mainly good for short business visits. The breakfast is OK, everything there but nothing extraordinary. I didn't think it was worth the extra 20 euro they charged me. Personel were all friendly and welcoming.

Hotel located in a strategic location. In more downtown and accessible by metro. The rooms are great, the quality service and the prices competitive. Recommended.

Great hotel, great staff, great room. No complaints at all about this place. Maybe a little far outside of the city but there are fantastic metro and tram links close by. About a 15min walk from the Reichstag.

Superb! We stay here 3 nights-great location (next to U and S and buses… runs the all city). Superb layout, decor and the food and service was outstanding! I would certainly go and stay in this hotel again experience! The 738 ; panoramic, large windows (&electric shutter), the AC was great as well (July…).

This establishment caters for quite the pocket-conscious guest who seeks a good city hospitality. One can pop in for a quick non-junk meal in the heart of Berlin. The staff are quite attentive to the patrons. Definitely worth visiting again. However, do not expect a five-star hotel!

Staying for 2 days, I have only good things to say. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everyone I interacted with spoke English very well. The room was clean and comfortable. Important to note that the thermostat in the room actually works very well for both heating and cooling. Bathrooms are modern and functional. The breakfast buffet has a very nice selection. There are plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood and the location in general is wonderful.

La Club member gets free upgraded Wi-Fi. Printing facility freely available, and extremely convenient for public transportation. Some really great eats around if you don't feel like getting out of the way. Room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is bit on the small side, and we didn't have the bath towel on the first day (probably due to shortage) however later rectified. Furthermore, designated "ironing room" located on the 4th floor in case of need. Overall a decent hotel for its price. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

The superior room was fine, bedding OK, small bathroom but OK. Housekeeping OK.
They don't understand English at home too well.

Actually quite good, but the bathrooms are so slow into the years. They are to be renovated, though. The hotel bar is particularly expensive for wine.
Update: Overnight there again today. The room was ok … and the bathroom renovated.

They finally fixed the Wi-Fi (at $19.95 charge for what is table steaks at most hotels) An “ironing room”? And what is up with one pillow and scratchy twin cover (see photo) on a double bed? Room “temperature control” is restricted (it got hot at night). The staff are accommodating. Very clean and well-kept hotel. Breakfast buffet is good.

A great hotel in the heart of Berlin! By checking in, you feel you've come home. Friendly and cheerful people welcome you without being behind the classical reception furniture! You go up to your room and find a very elegant and nicely decorated space. Comfortable bed and pillows. In the morning you can have a delicious breakfast in a nice place. Polite and cheerful staff. Everything is next you and you can visit KaDeWe and nice shops around. Nearby there are very nice cafe and restaurants. I highly recommend it!

The staff is very friendly. The room is large enough and very well furnished. The cleanliness was very good (although I am not a hotel critic looking at the mattresses microscopically). I felt the "bathroom" to be very small. It was very nice and modern furnishings.
What disturbed me was the towel change, although I had not put it on the floor. With a two-day stay, I really don't need fresh towels.
For breakfast I can't say anything since I don't have breakfast.

Overall, the quality of the premises fits. The furnishing style is not pleasant for everyone. The pictures in the room with this girl we found awful.
Otherwise, the service came to us more like a hostel start up. A little casually.

The room is clean, toilet and shower too. Unfortunately, the room had only dirty and sticky coffee spoons in the closet. Neither toilet paper nor cosmetic towels were added. A note at the reception was dismissed with the assessment that these are contractors and do not bring any hints anyway. The breakfast offer is manageable and minimalist. For 19 euros unfortunately overpriced.

Very friendly, young staff. Both at the reception and in the restaurant area. Clean and modern equipped rooms. Unfortunately, the speed of the freely available W-Lan did not fit. But all in all highly recommended. Also due to the proximity to the Charité. The value for money is totally right here!

Hotel makes a good impression after renovation. Open area at reception, bright colors and friendly service. Only the slightly small rooms tarnish the positive appearance. Due to the good location with close to public transport, you will be less likely to stay in the room anyway.

Ironing room was odd, have to get a key but there only seems to be one available so I was hanging around for a while waiting for the person who had it to show up, the irons are very poor and had to iron each thing twice to get creases out. Only 2 for the whole building, seems like they could get better quality ones! Everything else great. Good location, Would stay again.

Great modern hotel in a great location in the middle of Baird. Walk along the Kurfürstendamm, or take the subway — just across the street — to Alexanderplatz or Brandenburg Gate… Every 5 minutes you can get yourself here in all directions.
To the hotel:-Super clean-freundiches young staff-mini bar with free water, tea and instant coffee — we also replenished daily-cosy and Fabenfrohe modern bar where you can always order snacks and all drinks of your choice-daily breakfast buffet For €19 p. P. — Plentiful and tasty… But a person can't eat €19… — Ample parking available at the KaDeWe in really expensive car parks (€25 a day) — 3 minutes walk we would come back. It was great here in Berlin and the hotel has made its contribution…

Privilege rooms are OK of the size, unfortunately there is no desk or at least a bigger table. Design is not everything;)
Rooms in x38-x52 are not recommended if you want to have fresh air, from 6 o'clock at the latest construction sites — or waste collection noise.
The heating over the air conditioner works, but you have to turn this fully on to 28 degrees. And if it is warm enough to put down.
But these are all trifles the overall impression is positive. If there were at least junior suites now, I would have become a regular.

Really nice hotel in a great location for a reasonable price. Nice room, well-designed and bright common areas, great Wi-Fi, wonderful staff, bright cheerful hallways. Wittenbergplatz is near Kurfurstendam shopping, Winterfeldtplatz Saturday market, and the gay district of Motzstrasse. A few small flaws: The hotel has a fashion theme which, oddly, translates to giant pictures of women everywhere, there is often noisy construction next door, and 19 euros is too much for their (very good) breakfast buffet. I accidentally left something in the room when I checked out and they very sweetly called me and told me. These are honestly nice people, highly recommended.

Very clean hotel. The furnishings are new and modern and all the facilities are available for your business trip. A compliment to the nice lady at the breakfast reception, who, with her courtesy and good humour, gave us a nice start to the day. The location is very central. Happy to be back!

We had a voucher for a breakfast. The hotel is very modern and chic. The restaurant is cosy, even if the wooden chairs could tolerate a circulation. It was all clean, quiet, tidy. There was everything you needed for a good breakfast. The kitchen prepares an even Omlett or specially cooked eggs for a few minutes. The location in itself is of course perfect, as located directly at Wittenberg Square/Kudamm.

Comfortable rooms in a really convenient location next to both trams and u-bahn. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent buffet breakfast with a large amount of choice kept well refreshed, even if arriving late for breakfast.

Place, place and place again! Breakfast is good, but at 10.00 is opened Kaddeve and there you can have breakfast to order tastier and more.

For me, my hotel that I can use again and again in a visit to Berlin — professionally and privately — and only recommend it. The rooms are not very large but they have everything you need. Especially commendable is the breakfast buffet, which offers everything you would want for breakfast.

The quite small rooms have a modern and new décor. For one person the rooms are adequate, for two sure a bit cramped. You can see that this has been renovated.
The kettle with tea and soluble coffee are nice. There is free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

The breakfast costs 19 euros but is worth its money.

The 'free Wi-Fi' barely works, Google Maps take like 30 seconds to zoom in. But hey, good news everyone! You can pay 6 Euro extra for a 'premium Wi-Fi'. So that's basically just a scam to make guests pay extra for internet that was supposed to be free. Another problem was with payment, first they blocked 400 Euro off my card on check in, and then at check out they said they lost the receipt and wanted to charge me another 320 Euro which I didn't have on my card because they already blocked 400. Now they want me to! E-MAIL! them my credit card details. That's a no. So yeah, the hotel is at a good location, the rooms and nice, the staff is friendly and all, but they ruin it with the execution.

The cleanliness on the toilets should be improved. Also some cosmetic repairs are necessary. About the rooms I could not say anything were just for a seminar there. The room was very cold had to ask three times to change the climate. Was unfortunately too late by now totally cold. The food at the break was delicious but for my terms a little bit however, this can be at the organizer that too little was ordered there. But taste very good.

Already the third time here. Luckily, it has just been renovated, at least for the floors this has been very necessary.
The hotel is strategically located, to the central station you could walk.
The rooms are cramped, there is little storage for two. Everything is well maintained and useful.
The reception is friendly, fast and competent.
The breakfast offers everything you need, but this is not something special.
All in all a good hotel with nice staff.

Full rooms with good television and correct service, very complete lunch. Located in an area with several restaurants and Metro station.

This place has rave reviews. Experience so far has been 4/5 stars but I'm being a bit generous. Two of the best things about this hotel are location (next to underground and KaDeWe) and price. The beds are somewhat stuff but very sleepable. The weirdest thing about the hotel is the way they make the beds. I'd say the size of mine is about a queen but they only give you two comforters that are for a twin size (not even any sheets). So just using one comforter is barely enough to cover me (adult male). The thermostat is also odd as it doesn't seem to function very well but glad to have A/C. Staff has been helpful but the gent who checked me in barely helped out with the basic orientation (breakfast time, elevator, bar hours, etc). Overall, as a solo traveler on some business/fun I'd recommend it.

The location is convenient, the metro station near the department store and the U-line, the breakfast is good.
But the décor of the room is a picture of people.

We have children and booked non-smoking room however we got a smoking room so we had to switch it after we moved family and all the luggages in. The hotel is in a good location and the interior design is nice.

It was ok, not the best experience. The room was tiny but clean. The location was good because it was near the train station.

Nice hotel but not without its issues. At breakfast, I was told I would have coffee brought to the table but was not. Because no hotel staff member came to my table, I was not able to ask for an omlette as some guests were. The water was not working in the gents sink in the toilet which meant I was not able to wash my hands and there was vertically no acknowledgment from the staff member I told about this. Having said that, my room was very nice and the hotel looked good too.

This lovely hotel is very well located and it's super nice! The staff who helped us was so nice and polite! A girl from Canary Islands (spain) was so cute with us! We loved it here. And very good breakfast! You should come and try. PS: free mini bar service included!

This hotel is new and clean. Much larger room than we expected for a European hotel… very similar to nicer US hotel chains. The location was perfect for us with the metro station right out front. Berlin was experiencing the worst rain in a 60 history while we were there, but the Murcure staff luckily had extra umbrellas so we could race across the square to a restaurant. The staff spoke great English (thank you SO much for that… we really appreciated it☺). The decor is funky, hip and cool… large portraits of models and modern art and fixtures. Because of this stay, I would feel comfortable staying at any Mercure and will likely seek it out as a reasonably priced option on future trips to Europe.

One of the staff who greeted us at the reception was courteous and helpful, even genuinely warm — and this made a great difference (I wish I remembered her name). She was counterbalanced by her colleagues who were arrogant and cheeky — based on admittedly brief interactions with 3 of them. The room was very clean but the AC didn't seem to work. We discovered it too late at night when even at 18°C (started from 23°) we woke up sweating. We just stayed one night and didn't see a point in complaining at midnight — we were also very tired and just wanted to sleep. Breakfast was okay. The location is great — very close to public transport.

The city hotel with a special ambience in the fashion-look and in the best location in Berlin. Ideal for a city tour. Walking distance from here are already some destinations — Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Zoo, Tiergarten… otherwise you have a perfect public transport connection in front of the door (subway).
The bus line 100 starts for an interesting city tour only 10 minutes walk to the zoo station.
The rooms are clean and well air conditioned. The beds are comfortable. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet makes a high-quality impression and leaves nothing to be desired. Priced in any case appropriate.
I'm sure we'll be back.

This is a fairly new Mercure hotel in Berlin and it feels very fresh still. Staff were very helpful and the bar was an ok place to enjoy a drink. The rooms were very comfortable and many offered reasonable views over the square. Breakfast was very enjoyable but quite pricey and I think they should reconsider their pricing. I will though definitely be back.

Excellent hotel. The rooms are modernly decorated, beautiful bathrooms with a great large shower. Also the breakfast was very extensive and tasty for the price. The staff were extremely friendly and still relaxed. I like to stay here again!

The Mercure Hotel Berlin Wittenberg Platz was opened only a few months ago and is already convincing in the lobby by its unique interior design. The rooms also leave a very modern impression. They were also very clean and very spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very nice. Only a waffle iron would have completely rounded off the offer. The hotel is located directly at the KaDeWe or At Wittenberg Square and is ideally connected to the Berlin underground network, so that you can reach all important points of the city in the shortest possible time. On another trip to Berlin we would definitely choose the hotel again!

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is good as is the cold cuts of meat if you want a snack at night. Location is great to get to either side of Berlin.

Close to Hauptbahnhof station, the city centre is easily reached with two tram stops. The rooms are comfortable and clean but a little bit too small.

Super Hotel in top location. Opposite is the underground station of Wittenberg Square. Large rooms with large TV. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom is also very modern and welcoming. Definitely recommended. My new favorite hotel on the Ku'damm.

Good location and convenient. The reception is very friendly but:
We took a superior quality room and we ask how is the standard quality.
The bedding is not as good as in most ibis.
It is impossible to store your belongings for two on a 6 day stay. The storage is more than minimalist.
The water room is small, impossible to have a bathtub.
The staff of the bar must be 80% made by trainees. At our arrival impossible to even have a sandwich at 11pm. This day 27 December a person at the bar enjoys a dish. The service depends on the good will where the courage of the person managing the bar.
It is noted that despite its 4 * The housekeeping is very random in the rooms. Dirty glasses and cups left on the spot and the shower room cleaned more than succinctly. Apart from the previous criticisms this one is paramount.
Amazing for a hotel that is part of a large chain and is located in a large European capital.

Very nice hotel close to city center. Well connected to buses tram and two underground station. Rooms are wonderfully sound proofed, comfortable and clean. Free Wi-Fi available all over the hotel. Mercure hotels are always recommended, Berlin City is no exception!

It was a very small room.

Overall very good but the bed wasn't very good. Struggled to get additional pillows and lacking in sheets / duvets quality. Breakfast very expensive.

All The Staff here is extremely kind & polite，the breakfast is very good, hotel location is perfect, all the historic places are within walking distance, and of course also the tram and U are also close to this hotel, just 2 mims walk. I surely will come back again. Thank you for all the staff here，I have a memorable journey.

The hotel is near the airport and its facilities are optimal.
However, the treatment has been painful. If there is a classification of citizens by classes, we felt as citizens declassified directly. Disrespectful treatment and we felt outraged. A penalty.

Location wasn't too bad once I worked out the ubahn stop. Room was basic but covered all of the basic requirements, staff reasonably helpful. However my travel mate had their toothbrush removed from the room, only the toothbrush nothing else.

Was a big room with everything but a mini fridge and unsure how we got a room for that price. It was the cheapest hotel per we booked in the whole trip and it was almost the best one. The internet was annoyingly slow and even the premium paid internet was no better.

Good location. Next to centre and right outside public transport. Minus is lack of breakfast included in the price. Rooms chasm and well kept.

Very clean and geflegte room. Friendly Staff. I had a quiet room against the courtyard. The only thing to be criticized is the maue selection of dishes of the room service. The made but Luca with his professionelem and freundllichen Occur again well.

Were 4 days in the Hotel. Rooms very well. Staff from the reception, the catering excellent. Every question and every request was quickly and super friendly done. We have us very comfortable and will definitely come again.

I loved this hotel, very functional and cosy room. It had everything you need to be a hotel in which you can work and go on vacation. Not a detail was missing. She is conveniently located a 20-minute walk from the Center and 10 from central station. Our breakfast buffet is the best that I have tested if you have the opportunity to recommend it, not is if it is typical of berlin but they had up to 6 different types of honey and a diaper that were taking the honey. Very nice hotel staff.

Very good hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, good location at the natural history Museum of the U6. Double room with extra bed was also not a problem.

Construction site in front of the House, no water until 13: 00. And the hotel still takes reservations for this night? Fortunately, you can get a bucket of water on multiple demand.

This hotel is highly recommended, super friendly staff, rooms are clean and big enough. Also the location is great, there is a metro station just around the corner.

I was for 2 nights at the Hotel Mercure Berlin City hotel. The very friendly reception power immediately I noticed that greeted me warmly. My room was very spacious. At my request, I was given a quiet room overlooking the courtyard. The room was very clean. Also the bathroom was highly polished. The breakfast was adequate. I can highly recommend this hotel. Due to its very central location, they are always always at the Centre of the action :).
