Room is perfect. Breakfast and staff a dream. Allse was clean and well-groomed. All sights to be reached in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel with a convenient location. Friendly staff. All that's missing is the pool.

It is your average 5-star hotel nothing super or spectacular very expensive prices.

Great location, comfortable beds (some mornings we didn't even want to get up because it was like we were sleeping in clouds) and the staff spoke English which was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Gendarmenmarkt during 3 nights. We were given a room on the 5th floor with a small balcony and a view on Gendarmenmarkt. The view on those ancient buildings with the Berlin TV Tower on the back is fascinating. Service was excellent, the bed very comfortable as always in Sofitel, small details of French art-de-vivre are also enjoyable for expatriate like me: Evian bottle, Lanvin amenities, Yves Delorme bathrobe, good wine and cheese at the adjacent restaurant called Aigner. Totally recommendable!

Hotel ideally located in the centre of Berlin close to the main places of interest. You can easily get there on foot. The hotel is modern and comfortable. It has a nice room. There is also a gym available. Breakfast is plentiful and the products offered are of quality. The fruit juices are in a hurry. There is a wide selection of sweet and savoury.

Disappointing a poorly thought out room too much design kills the design outside the view we had nothing this hotel does radiate as a 5 star.
The housekeeper has a problem to do because the check of the rooms leaves a desire… It has not been done.
I knew better on the part of the group Accor.

The hotel is located in an impressive location. The Opera suite has a sensational view from the three balconies. The suite is spread over two floors and is well maintained. It offers many amenities: Mini bar on each floor, two toilets, three TVs. Overall very well equipped.
Small minus: The mini bar was not replenished two days in a row, as was the tea. Only after two complaints at the reception was refilled. In some cases, there were communication problems due to a not so good knowledge of German. English was better spoken. Nevertheless, I give five stars, alone because of the room.

Extremely long Spa opening hours and a very good steamroom — all I need upon a late evening arrival :-)

Sofitel is style a good brand Not 5 stars because there is no lounge and bar in the hôtel. Bar is only in the restaurant against the hotel but always full and not friendly to take a drink.

The location of the hotel is excellent, adjacent to Lafayette department store, Humboldt University, Royal Forest Square, and easy walking distance to Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island. Hotel Atrium Inner Circle of the room is very quiet, rest very good!

Impeccable service. Great breakfast restaurant, and the room living up to it's five star rating. I hope to stay there again when visiting Berlin again. If you have visited Berlin Stadtmitte long time ago, prepare for a surprise. The entire are is transferred into a dynamic and pleasent district for shopping, dining and enjoying Berlin.

Room was on the small side but had really great views across the square. Also our TV did not work properly and despite calling reception, it couldn't be fixed. Hotel is well located for museum island and other sight seeing.

Rooms and room size are 5 star. Room service including the possibility in the room is also a 5 star dining. The location of hotel close to Gendarmenmarkt and Potsdamer Platzist for short visits perfect.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room was nice and tidy, very good hot shower! Not the newest hotel but everything you need, comfy bed, helpfull staff, nice bathroom. Location is close to brandenburg gate, checkpoint charlie, reichstag, friederichstrasse and metro stadtmitte!

Sofitel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt is located in a perfect location! Sights and Shopping possibilities are without problems to reach on foot. The view from our room (5. Floor) on the Gendarmenmarkt was outstanding! The staff was mega friendly and not too pushy. In contrast to many other 5 star hotels — corresponded to the Wi-Fi speed to the Standards of a luxury hotel. At the room or cleanliness is not to criticize, room and bathroom were meticulously clean. In addition to a TV, there was still a BOSE audio system in the room, about the you via AUX cable his own music could play. The Sofitel on Berlin's historic Gendarmenmarkt square in Berlin makes his good name. How to get to it from Sofitel knows, convinced also this 5 stars out with superior Service, and guaranteed a stay in the class. The Spa is a wonderful place to relax and really send gym is a Training much easier. The location is extremely good, you've reached the bustling Friedrichstrasse, with its numerous shops (including Les Galeries Lafayettes), and lots of Restaurants to walk to in the shortest possible time. The Hotel is also directly on the Gendarmenmarkt, one with a stay in Berlin in any case, Once should have seen. The historic buildings impress with their imposing architecture and are fantastic in this Hotel from many of the chic rooms to admire. Overall, it was in the Hotel very calm and relaxed. The rooms were very well liked, in particular, the beds were extremely comfortable and provided a restful nights sleep. The Service was very very good, one was obviously the Well being of the guests concerned and there was nothing to complain about. The Wi-Fi connection was great and anytime anywhere available. Especially good was the Breakfast buffet, which with a good selection of high-quality and fresh food convinced. We would like to thank you for the pleasant stay, highly recommend the Hotel gladly further and also come gladly again.

The rooms are small and uncomfortable. The bathroom has a transparent glass area that opens out directly on the camera. Who is in the room sees people in the bathroom! Small bathroom.

Location is good, single room was very small, staff is partly very weak. I was contrary to the agreement didn't call to tell me whether I've been with before 15 o'clock check in, to my question of how long the exhibition have opened and whether I was with the cards could help, it was said, could not be (in the Newsletter was the exhibition and the possibility of cards without having to wait explicitly been applied for) — my plane I could have almost missed because the time to me for the taxi ride has been called is not enough. A great exception was the Boss (? ) in the Breakfast area! The result: The Hotel is nothing special. In Berlin, there are better for the same money and much better if you pay a little more.

Central location in the immediate location of Top Restaurants such as Aigner, Fischers Fritz, Borchardt and first-class purchasing transactions. Rooms for business travelers to optimally set up. Good sleeping comfort, occupied for two nights in a quiet room, against Central patio. Really excellent Breakfast Buffet, fresh fruits, very good presentation of breads, Charcuterie, various cheese products, Cereals etc are Very attentive, but always restrained operation. Will the next Berlin business visit there again descend.

The Hotel lives by its location: situated on the Gendarmenmarkt square, just next to the Galeries Lafayette. Friendly, competent staff. The room, however, for €160 (Fri — > Sam) is quite small. The Sofitel to ask for the Internet of money (! ). For a 5* Hotel in my view is an absolute NO-GO.
