Of my stay in Munich I enjoyed many things and among them the hospitality in the Hotel Laimer Hof. It is located in a residential neighbourhood and close to the Nymphenburg castle. I felt welcomed by the owners as if I had been a friend of theirs ever since. They were helpful and friendly along with all the staff and always lavish tips for visiting the city best. The structure is elegant and looks like a castle. The room is equipped with fine furniture, the bed very comfortable. The cleanliness is great. The location is very close to the public transport. I will definitely.

For our first visit to Munich, after an extensive search for a boutique hotel close to the city center but away from the tourist traffic, we found the ideal establishment for our three night stay. Hotel Laimer Hof is located in a quiet residential area—literally only blocks from the Nymphenburg Palace and a leisurely 10 minute walk to the Romanplatz Tram stop that will take you directly to the city center. Our Standard Double Room was modest but comfortable and the breakfast ample and delicious. But it was the friendly and engaging owners and staff that made our stay at Hotel Laimer Hof memorable. We were greeted at reception by Jan—who provided detailed information about transportation and nearby sights. The Owner, Sebastian, greeted us every morning at breakfast—making sure everything was perfect. By the time we left, we truly felt like family. While there are many hotel options in Munich from which to choose, you will not likely find a better place to stay if you are looking for value and service over luxury. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Laimer Hof for a memorable visit to Munich.

Room was charming, clean and was able to open windows (I like opened windows). had an atmosphere of a bed and breakfast. Cozy service was great. Luggage was carried upstairs for us. Information about points of interest was good and how to get there detailed. would stay again.

Perfect hotel. Easy to get to from the airport. Used the bikes for free, biked to the BMW factory and to English Gardens. Taking the tram downtown was easy. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of nice restaurants close by to eat at. Most important extremely quiet at night. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the best in Munich-We have been staying here every year for twenty three years and it is always a great experience. The service is top notch and the amenities are just as good, if not better, than the larger hotels. With a great breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and cleanliness rarely seen anymore, this place offers it all. The Laimerhof Hotel has consistantly been rated as the best small hotel in Munich by Trip Advisor and there is a reason. Sebastian and Alexandra have done an amazing job with this place. It is a five minute walk from the Nymphanburg Palace and a short walk from the areas transportation hubs that can get you to anywhere in Munich within ten or twenty minutes. And yet, it is located in one of Munich's best neighborhoods on a quiet side street. My wife and just absolutely love this place. That is why we keep coming back year after year.

If I could give them 7 stars, it would be a great accommodation experience. The waiter is very interesting. A glass of beer is also introduced to a pile of dining venues. Each is perfect! Also helped us plan Munich one-day trip breakfast very rich very highly recommended that you come to Munich to stay here for a night and walk 5 minutes to the Fort Ning is also a must-see spot in Munich to the city to take the tram 16 or 17 13 minutes to get there quickly!

Excellent! Our first time in Munich and we couldn't have selected a better stay! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were cozy and easily accessible to all the local attractions. They offer breakfast options and great beverages throughout the day on the property. When back, we will stay here.

Very nice cozy hotel in the style of Renaissance, which is in private control of the family Roesch. Location near the Nimfenburgskim Palace in the beautiful quarter of Munich. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly, always ready to help in any matter. It was at them that we met a truly individual approach to each client. This hotel is a great place to stay.

Good breakfast, as well as very nice and qualified staff. A cordial relationship with all guests and family environment. The room was well equipped and the bed comfortable. Everything clean and well maintained. The situation completes the complete package. I look forward to the next visit. Many thanks to the team!

Family-run hotel in a historic schlösschenähnlicher villa with a guaranteed feel-good atmosphere in a very nice and quiet district of Munich. Numerous restaurants with very tasty cuisine in the immediate vicinity. Tram station Roman Platz with Rewe and Rossmann around the corner.
Very friendly hoteliers, always attentive to the well-being of the guests, very service orientated to all eventualities prepared and very communication strong — not least thanks to excellent foreign language skills.
Sumptuous breakfast buffet with salmon, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit salad, cereal bar, great sausage and cheese selection and much more, such as barista coffees.
From the airport via the S1 stop Laim very easy to reach. From the main train station via tram-line 16 in a few minutes.
To the ICM by tram to the main station and U2 to the west entrance to the fair.

Great hotel, very helpful and professional staff. I stayed at this hotel for two days while visiting Munich. The hotel is easy to find and you can get there directly from the airport on the S-Bahn line 1. The rooms are furnished very nicely and are comfortable as well as very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. They serve a variety of hot beverages (latté, espresso, hot chocolate, etc. ) and have a wide variety of breads, cereals, fruit, and other breakfast foods to choose from. In order to get to the center of Munich, all we needed to do was take a short tramway ride (about 10 minutes) that took us directly to a central station. From there we were able to walk around and sightsee. The hotel is also a short 5-10 minute walk from the Nymphenburg Palace. Situated in a more residential part of Munich, the location is ideal for people wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city but still want to be able to quickly get to the center in order to enjoy what the city has to offer. The biggest attraction for this hotel is the friendly and multilingual staff that are working there. They are always smiling and happy to chat for a few minutes (and in a variety of languages! ) We felt very welcomed at this hotel and would gladly return.

Super friendly couple owns this place, and is very helpful when getting around town. I left my jewelry there and they are mailing it home for me! I was so stunned and happy, they could not have been nicer. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a wonderful Italian pizza place walking distance away. I also suggest adding the breakfast to your stay it is filling with lots of options.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price a great place to stay. In a quiet location with many good restaurants, beer garden and cafe's nearby and quick connection to the city centre.

Really cosy, super clean and a stone's throw away from Nymphenburg Castle.

Cold in the room, "ice" floors in the bathroom. Subway is far away, does not correspond to the description on the Internet. There is no infrastructure nearby. The only plus is clean rooms and parking. The room is overpriced, breakfast is not included.

It's a great place. The courtesy is at home. For those who go to Munich I highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed at Lamier Hof Hotel for two nights. I couldn't believe how helpful and fun the staff were when we checked in. The next day we met the owner Sebastian. He made wonderful suggestions about what to do and how to get to the places we wanted to go. We needed to stay an extra day, but they didn't have room at the Lamier, so Sebastian called another hotel, made a reservation for us and drove our luggage over to that hotel. The Lamier is easily accessible by public transportation, but is in a quiet lovely section of Munich right by the Nymphenburg Palace, so truly a remarkable place to stay. It is charming and I would recommend it to any of our friends. Allison Couch and Tom Soals.

That's my second stay here. It's a quite place, at a good location — 20 minutes to center, 1 min to big park. Nice restoraunts within 10-15 minutes of walk. A structure is old, but maintained. Breakfast is good.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind. Sebastian really made our stay special and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. Our room was clean and cozy and we had no issues with the room or bathroom. The hotel is located next to the biggest beer garden in the world, many restaurants, and a metro stop. We would definitely stay here again!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Sebastian was so friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful, great English and great host! The location is close to Nymphenburg Palace, which is a lovely neighborhood just outside the city center. Train transportation to the center, or to the airport is very close. The largest biergarten in the world is also only a few blocks away! Will definitely stay here again on the next visit to Munich!

Wonderful, friendly staff (excellent English if your Deutsch isn't up to the task)! Quality rooms for a good price, and the location is great for sightseeing at Nymphenburg palace. Just a few minutes from the palace, and about a ten minute walk from the train station.

Great location that is easy to get to. The hotel owners are really friendly and ready to provide advice for travel plans. A handful of quality near by restraunts. Room is clean and cosy.

We stayed at this charming hotel 2 weeks ago for 6 wonderful days. You won't find a better location in all of Munich! Steps away are miles of walking trails that go through the grounds of Nymphenberg Palace, great for refreshing early morning walks, or before sun set. About 2 blocks away is the Tram, and in 15 minutes or so you can be in the heart of the city. Plenty of restaurants around, plus the famous Hirschgarden is a walkable distance away! And you won't find better hosts then Sebastian and crew! Humorous and informative. They make it thier goal to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The rooms are a bit small, and being 6 feet tall, the shower was too small, but these are minor inconveniences. Also there is no air-conditioning, but it is in a heavily treed area, so this probably doesn't matter. We stayed in early June, and temperatures were on the cool side, so not sure how more hotter days would factor. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for all the pluses it has! Also the breakfasts are great and worth the extra 10 euro! A truly great time we had in Munich!

If not only "cheap" and wants to sleep quickly, which ends up in the Laimer Hof. Centrally located and close to the beautiful Castle Park are unbeatable.

It was a very nice and friendly staff. Room of average quality, unpretentious. No elevator for luggage. In the room there was a closet for the linen of the hotel.
