I am really enjoying the service and the overwhelming passion of the staff during the stay. We got a warm welcome at the desk and I have a wonderful time at the cigar lounge. Thx also to the Zechbauer Family!

Nasty (septic) smell in the room. We advised front desk before we went out. Not sure if they did any actual repair / maintenance… but they did spray about half a can of air freshener (which was nauseating in its own right). Our group (about 100-150 ppl) had to leave early (before 7 AM) on our first day but the restaurant was poorly staffed. It is a combo of buffet and table service. Buffet food was largely undercooked. Server didn’t come to our table until about 5 minutes before we had to leave. Second day was somewhat better service but my waffle was — surprise — undercooked. Lots of little things in the room just not right either. Example: The shower head mechanism broken so kept sliding down. Overall, far less than I had expected for a 5 star hotel.

The staff was superb and you truly felt spoiled and taken care of.

I found excellent service with very delicious food. Particularly Staff are very professionals.

Great location and an amazing breakfast. The hotel is in an expensive part of town, surrounded by designer shops, but yoyou' just a few minutes walk into the main tourist sites and away from global consumerism. The least appealing aspect of the place was the rooms, as mine was a bit compact and had views over a quad of browning grass. The showers were amazing though and beds very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and the foyer of the hotel has a nice feel, with folk sat chatting over a drink whilst the pianist played. The highlight for me was the breakfast where the selection was vast. One could start with various fruits and juices before moving onto a selection of German sausages and cold cuts. There must have been twenty different types of bread and you could scoop honey from the honeycomb. If you were still hungry you could grab some dim sum and order an omelette or waffles. Amazing. I was lucky enough to be paid for by my company, so can't comment on the cost. Maybe if be less effusive if I was footing the bill.

A hotel worthy of the name, very welcoming staff and attentive to the well-being of the concierge, reception, bar, restaurant and floor service clientele with Mrs. Monika Tretz, manager of the establishment form a complete team. Thanks to them all.

This is a peaceful place that feels like home in Munich. We had breakfast with our 5-year old twins, the food and service were outstanding, waitress was super kind and patient with our kids, at one point the chef came out and brought them baloons! Great place!

Breakfast is a must-have for your stay! Large variety of tasty breakfast items. Start by ordering off the menu before going to the self-serve. I recommend the omelet (I asked for everything). The sausages were tasty, the Chinese dumplings were authentic, plenty of drinks (iced tea, kiwi, Apple, orange, sparkling, etc), warm mini croissants, lemon cake, yogurt… basically everything! They even serve Chinese congee/porridge (was a bit runny but pleasant to see it as an option). The live piano in the evening brought a classy atmosphere. Rooms were nice. Good shower options for those who prefer rain vs standard, digital water temperature setting, and bathroom mood lighting. Was a great stay!

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night and was completely blown away by the quality of the hotel, the staff and the overall service. The room was eloquent and modern with touch sensitive controls, extremely comfortable bed and all the comforts of home. I was greeted by the valet of the hotel who carefully parked my car in their secure parking. Our bags were waiting in our room along with 3 small delicacies. The spa is extremely clean with excellent views of Munich from the balcony. A definite when staying here is to enjoy breakfast, the quantity and quality is superb! I will definitely be back and have already recommended this hotel to friends.

Best bar in Munich is the Kempinski. Magnus the Barman / Bar Manager makes the best gin martini ever!

Really world class. Make sure to take advantage of the concierge service (Armin is awesome! ) — they have excellent restaurant recommendations and can make reservations for you. The breakfast is also really outstanding.

The best hotel I ever seen. Staff is very friendly and fantastic. The room is very nice and more comfortable. Bathroom facilities are excellent no words how to explain that. Wi-Fi is free in the hotel. The breakfast is delicious severes are very friendly. I was stayed for 05 days in the hotel got a fantastic service in that period. The best hotel in the munich, highly recommend.

We only came for one night to have dinner with Alfons schuhbeck in Fine Dining, so we opted for a Hotel in the centre and were not disappointed. We were extremely satisfied with everything, starting from the Park service about the friendly welcome at reception, with a wonderful, woman-to-understand (pass on the left for Dior) directions on how to get to the Restaurant. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. As we came back from dinner, they were the Drapes and the bedspread away, and the guest Slippers were in front of the bed. At the hotel bar, the service was fast and friendly. We have felt ourselves very well and be sure to come back. The Breakfast buffet is good and sufficient, and also here the staff was fast and friendly. Although it was very busy when we checked out, we were helped with the Luggage and our car pulled up after only a short wait. I would only slightly softer mattresses, otherwise I was 100% satisfied and can only recommend the Hotel.

Great location! Classic style hotel design that is in need of an upgrade in some parts of the hotel. The rooms are nice but not special. No amenities in the room like nespresso machine or tea. The view for most rooms is a poor bit of grass with 30 neighboring room windows in plain sight. Breakfast is fresh and nicely laid out, but small selection, nothing extraordinary. It's a good hotel, but $400/night is way overpriced.

No Shower No TV & u can’t change the room! I came to spend the weekend in a five stars hotel considered the best hotel management in Germany (Kempiniski) and I ended up sitting in the corner waiting the technicians fixing my TV and SHOWER! I asked the reception to change the room with the same category! They said: the best we can do is either u pay 75€ per night or u have to wait the technicians to fix your room! I’m not traveling to Germany to Fix Kempiniski hotel ROOM! After what she said (this all what we can do and not possible to change the room without paying extra) How ever, I’m a gold member in the biggest travel agency in the world! After 1 minute of calling them, the same lady called me to apologize and she changed my room after two hours of waisting time! I can’t describe this behavior and every one can understand what I mean! I would never go back to kempiniski after what’s happening with the front disk stuff!

Upscale hotel. Perfect service and beautiful rooms. The spa area is small but very nice and perfect to relax after a day in the city. The breakfast offers a very wide selection and is delicious. All in all highly recommended!

Overall a very good hotel which meets the 5 star standards. Very friendly staff and very good service. However, when the concierge left the door, it had to be pointed out that there was no doubt that I would charge my luggage myself to the car parked in the second row in front of the house. Was then also readily and friendly done. Overall very satisfied, but for my taste a tad too impersonal compared to e. G. Grand hotels which do not belong to a chain like the ET Milan or the Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio on Lake Como.

I love the location, at maximillianstraße it's near shops and cafe so easy for shopping and looking for good food, and the bar hotel is so cozy they served beer (of course), one day I will come back.

My friend and I spent our Valentine's Day at the spa of the Kempinski Hotel. Apart from the fact that the fitness area cannot really be called clean, the rest of the day was more like a section of "Hidden Camera". The lady behind the counter, who was more busy with private things than taking care of guests or clearing tables, sent us on the one very unfriendly from the completely empty balcony, because you are not allowed to smoke there. It may be that we have not heeded the signs, but you can also point it out nicely. Their friendliness, however, was comparable to that of a sergeant. Within five hours we drank a glass of champagne and two Aperol of spray. When we wanted to order another one, the lady briefly looked at her obviously "more important tasks" in order to tell us very briskly that she was not giving out anything anymore, because "more than two drinks are not really going to get" and directly back to her "important Tasks "Witmete. Apart from the fact that their type was bottomless, one would have to offer an alternative (should two drinks be the rule). Café, tea or similar. As a guest of the more often in upscale hotels, I must honestly say: I felt unwelcome and pushed in front of my head. I've never seen anything like this before!
The only positive encounter of the day was a male employee, a very accommodating and nice gentleman. I would like to emphasize this explicitly! Only for this reason I give at least one star.

We felt very good once again. The room was unfavourable this time, we clarified this when checking out.
The breakfast is great, very good selection and the colleague on Sunday — the first name was I think Csaba — has a great refreshing way in the early morning. We spent both evenings at/in the bar/lobby and would like to highlight Sandra Salman's excellent service. We felt comfortable… Thanks)

Great service, and best location! Room and bathroom were amazing, modern and spacious. The food is spectacular, but pricey. The bar is very cozy and the breakfast place is marvelous with delicious food!

Absolutely fabulous. Friendly service, incredibly comfortable beds, great showers. EVerything was exquisite. We even forgot some diapers for our toddler and they ran out the next morning to fetch us some. We'll be back!

A great hotel. It's a shame that modernity has shattered its old style. Order unmodernized rooms, which end in 84, 85, 86 etc. But an unbeatable service. Breakfast with the diamonds from the windows of Maximilian Strasse.

Suppose to be 5 stars. Bedroom comforter has dust and dirt. Unchanged or old bed linen. Not all staff are well trained. Some items used were not topped up adequately. Stayed 4 nights here. If they could improve just a little. Quite a nice hotel actually. Breakfast : Odd system of putting the guest towards the back of the dining room when the front window seats are still not taken. Waiter had a pointless diffrence of opinion when we wanted to sit next to the window which was obviously not occupied. (She said : "Other guest will be coming down to sit there") We asked. Can it be reserved? — answer was : No. So what the fuss all about? Aren't we guest of the hotel? This should not have happen in an upscale hotel like that.

I was 3 days in this hotel with the shower not working.

Rating only affects garage! The hotel has the most expensive garage in all of Munich. You pay £31 per day. Unfortunately, there are few alternatives near the center. In addition, the access is very narrow, just like the pitches. The fat SUVs and noble bodies therefore occupy some of the 2 — 3 seats. Do they then pay twice or three times?

Always my favorite place to stay while in Munich. The location, the service, the food, the ambiance, — it is just unbeatable. Beautiful spa and pool area, too.

Very luxurious hotel located in the centre of Munich, on Maximilianstrasse. The hotel is five star rated with plenty of amenities on site. The Staff can't do enough for you, bedrooms are sumptuous and the lounge is very comfortable. If you can afford it, this is a great place to stay for a very relaxing break.

Visited with my husband this weekend. Everything was in the best order and the service in top. The only negative I can think of was the wait at check in. It took for ages and we were in a rush because we would like a showet before our plans for the evening.

I was there yesterday with my in-laws for lunch but had to leave. My father in law is in a wheel chair and cannot be without it. Upon entering the hotel, we found there was no built-in ramp for him to enter and they had to bring a mobile ramp for him to enter. As we came into the lobby, the only way to access the toilet was by another 10 steps so we tried to take him by the elevator. The elevators were also no help because it was not even a standard width for his wheelchair to fit inside to take him to the level of the location of the toilets.
We were highly disappointed and left because he felt very unwelcome that a 5☆hotel could not be accommodating to his situation. There was no effort made to make such a grand hotel accessible to people with disabilities. Management should really take steps to be more accommodating to their guests with disabilities.

I thought this was a really good hotel and I had a very good stay here. The location is great right in the centre of Munich city and with in walking distance of all major attractions including the English park. The room I was given was a newly renovated one and as such it was very nice indeed. The room itself was not too large but it was very nicely decorated and very modern. You have the mod cons, a well stocked mini bar, Nespresso coffee machine and very good sized TV. The air conditioning could be stronger, that is not to say it does not work, it just takes. The bathroom was very large with an automate Toto toilet which does take some getting used too. There is no bath tube but rather a walk in shower room with both a standard and a rain shower. The front desk staff, all staff come to think of it, where very pleasant and polite and extremely helpful with no issue being too large to handle. I did not try the Spa or any of the restaurants so I cannot comment on them. My one comment would be that being in the centre of the city there is limited amount of space that they can use for valet parking and thus this area is very small and it can take time to have your vehicle brought up from the parking. This is not a major issue though. All in all this is an excellent hotel and I am very glad I stayed here, I would definitely come and stay here again.

Munich Center, no matter where it is very convenient! But the reaction air conditioner will jump to the second night does not seem to improve, a pity, the bed is very big, very comfortable, breakfast is also very delicious.

It was a so great hotel that I never experienced like this. All the staffs were totally kind and gentle, especially the concierges were tremendously smart and enthusiastic to support the clients. I ask them vary many troublesome affairs including booking train tickets and opera tickets, packing the box, finding lost mobile phone. But they solved everything! I don't know the exact name of them, I really appreciate all the things they did for me and my daughter. All the staffs working in this hotel were really passionate and compassinate. I like this type of culture of organization. Surely the CEO of this hotel would be a good leader! Surely I will stay in this hotel next year also! Additionally even all the foods in restaurants or room-dining were ausome. Thanks again to all the staffs of Kempinski hotel Munich! See you next year!

Munich presents a stark contrast to Berlin. It is peaceful and free of the scars of war. Gosh, they hit the beer parlor from morning till night. Not being a drinker, of any alcohol, I feel funny and out of place every time I walk into one of those parlors. Yet, I warm toward these marvelous people who, despite their sad history, have snapped back to life with zest. Everywhere I go, I feel the warmth of being welcome. Even on a train traveling from Paris, I had to call ahead to my hotel, the Kempinski, for a limo for pickup. I must have looked lost that time, coz a perfect stranger looked up from his seat and inquired if I needed help. He made the call for me, and assured me that the arrangement had been made from my hotel, the Plaza Athenée, in Paris. Germany is perhaps the most organized, friendly, and lovable country for tourists.

Our second stay at the Kempinski Munich and it delivers in all aspects all the time for what is a brilliant hotel in Munich! Having stayed here just before Christmas with my family, it's such a different feel as opposed to summer which is to be expected. The ambiance within the hotel is warm, friendly and you feel there is always someone more than happy to help if need be. The level they go to for the Christmas theme / experience is amazing. I couldn't fault the hotel and it lived up to my expectations from our previous stay without any trouble at all. Perfect location and central to just about everything. The Breakfast / Brunch on offer is terrific. The staff are amazing right from the concierges to the front desk staff. Having flown in a day later than my family they could tell it had been a long flight and it was late at night so they parked some of the usual check-in requirements until the morning and sent a welcome drink to my room. Perfect!

I'm always happy on Sunday for breakfast with my husband. The wide range and the price of money is right.

Just checked in yesterday. Great location and very friendly staff. Yet the rooms are very small seriously small. I booked a superior room but it is way too small. I would recommend the hotel for a one night stay only but not any longer.

Very unfriedly staff that evaluate people by their outer looking! This hotel gets its good image by his undeserved stars and his history as an old and royal hotel! But in order to keep this image YOU have to be friendly and loyal to everyone at least! Don't go there, you'll be disappointed for sure!

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and will be until I visit another one in this chain. I was so impressed by the friendliness and genuineness of the staff, like no other experience I've had. Staff went out of their way (whether it was checking in or using the services of the concierge, valet, etc. ) to help orient me to this part of the world and had wonderful suggestions for me which were aligned with exactly what I wanted to see, do and experience. This was a phenomenal visit, and I highly recommend this top-notch hotel to everyone who has quality of service in mind.

I would like to go for a very nice service thank you. I have a few minutes at the front Desk called and asked if as a foreigner you have a photo ID at Check In must submit. I informed her that I a book do some research into, however I will the Hotel in any way refer to or will bring. We must not, because it is naming rights. The really nice young woman on the phone told me, that it is generally in Germany on the basis of Meldegesetzes so that every guest, regardless of whether he comes from abroad or from Germany comes out, his ID card for registration must submit. The great thing that I at this service felt was that I was here is a very nice and qualified statement is received. Before I was called, I have at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof called. The wanted me to Die than not say, if I have a form of identification must, instead, have me an E-Mail address of the press office of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof… I can only say: thank you Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski, you have me to work this way, and also Thank you Hotel Bayerischer Hof. I now know that I don't necessarily like when you book a room would be, because politics kills any nerve of the guest…
