Excellent in every aspect! From valet parking, concierge, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. Hotel is truly luxurious and highly recommended. Location is perfect, near old town and next to Hofbräuhaus. Thank you so much to all staff of MO for making our stay memorable!

Matsuhisa is my favorite restaurant in Munich! The food is great and the service fantastic!

We were 11 minutes late to a brunch reservation at the restaurant of this hotel. The waiter told us that they gave away our table since we were 15 minutes late, which was a lie and he accepted the correction and told us to wait 5 minutes to prepare a table. We waited for 10 minutes and he came back saying that they are putting 2 tables together to accommodate us. 10 more minutes later, the concierge Dario Cortellessa came and called us ‘the guests who were late’, then without any apology told us that ‘we prioritise hotel guests’, when we said that we already waited 20 more minutes because the waiter told us the table will be ready he said ‘I don’t think so’ and told us to leave. When we said that he was unpleasant and rude he said ‘that is your opinion’ and said that we were being equally rude to him. When we asked how to complain he suggested that we write to his own email address and didn’t tell us his last name until the third time we asked him for his name. What a shameful behaviour for a top hotel’s concierge. I can only imagine the attitude of the rest of the staff when their manager talks like this to the guests. I’m utterly disgusted by Mandarin Oriental hotel.

Very good service and food.

Top view from the roof terrace, simply beautiful. I've never seen my city like this before. A balmy summer evening, great drinks and the flair with pool and plants, everyone should just go there.
Eat only sushi (don't like everyone), but of the best quality and clear salads. Why you can't get a German card in Germany remains their secret.
The desserts a dream. Absolutely try.
The mandarin cake, looked like a mandarin decorated with gold leaf, the inner life a pleasure that melted on the tongue simply fantastic. We are happy to come back…

Mandarin Oriental, Munich oozes of quiet luxury. It encapsulates the very nature of my spirit. It's tucked away in a side street, yet centrally located near the famed Maximilianstrasse.
I enjoyed the many complimentary services. The rooms are fitted with Bang & Olufsen entertainment systems. For an audiophile such as myself, it was pure bliss.
The Renaissance architecture is nothing short of inspiring.
I strongly recommend that you have a stay here.

We had a perfect time at The Terrace, for sure one of the best places to spend a sunset in Munich! Top service!

This is an excellent hotel. The staff never say no & the service is impeccable. Tessa at the front desk even had a cappuccino waiting for me upon checkout. She must have noticed that I only slept a few hours after a night out. Hopefully I'll be back.

Staff are very nice, sat at rooftop bar and the views were beautiful. Drinks and food were also really good.

I stayed at this MO with a friend and had planned on only staying for two days. We enjoyed the property and the surroundings so much that we extended the stay. The roof top pool and lounge area is great with a nice view. The location couldn't have been any better. Make sure to spend a summer day at the English Garden, stop by to see locals surf in the creek.

Beautiful rooms and excellent location. The hotel is far from the level of Praha building. Very standard narrow street building. Service is perfect.

Great evening with friends on the roof top bar, super service and fabulous drinks — the only feedback I would give is that the guy on the ground floor guarding the elevator could of been a little nicer — felt a little like a negociation to convince him we were meeting friends.

Were on the hotel's rooftterasse, 360 degree views over Munich gigantic. Best service, great cocktails, very cozy and sunny, prices you have to accept due to the special.

Prices are to do justice to the services and not too high great services in the kitchen and lobby a fabulous pool for Munich room service class can only highly recommend.

The restaurant, Matsuhisa, is not recommended. The portions are mini and tasteless nothing special! Unfortunately! But the service is top!

I am very excited about the Mandarin Oriental Munich.
I was in this hotel recently in the lobby a cake is and everything is perfect from start to finish of the stay.
As soon as you reach the front door, you will be greeted by the door and welcome. In the lobby the staff were really very friendly and professional, just as you know it at this price level.
The cake also had a great taste (better than other hotels of this class), but of course has its price.
The entire hotel, i. E. The lobby, reception, restaurants and bar, are very classy, high quality and extremely luxurious.
All in all it was a perfect stay!

It was a terrible experience we just had the idea to enjoy the gorgeous first experince ones more, but it wasn't! The staff girls with a Russian back ground screaming like a psycho triller closer at our ears the Tempura sweet potato was hard nothing to compare with the first time to close the terrible Happy B-Day Celebration at MANDARIN ORIENTAL MUNICH… the rice served with the steak up 40, — € it was like a homeless quality and presentation. Pls Guy do no keep serving and treet guest like this. Munich MANDARIN ORIENTAL keeping fooging the hight shine name. No one needs this experince in a Hight Class adress. Sorry but I´m hight unhappily with the celebration of my B-day in this Place.

Out of this world you have the privacy a small coffee shop next you're a bakery and a dry cleaners right next to the shopping centre the main shopping centres all the plans are available.

Had with my wife a good night with pleasant service good eggs Benedict small pool and small spa for this personal service.

Hotel Interiors (bar, Restaueant) impressive. Fantastic Japanese Det very upscale price range.

We have been coming for a long time and the service is getting better, which you cannot claim from any hotel.

Was there for breakfast today, the buffet generously equipped with almost everything that is expected in these hotels… Various dishes are freshly prepared from the breakfast menu after ordering what I personally did not like was the very price-conscious sausage selection, as there is Need for optimization I would like to mention the excellent and friendly service drinks as desired, champagne, juices, cafe, tea and that at a price of 44, 00 euro The tables are unfortunately so close together,, …, is a conversation without the table neighbors at it Impossible to participate.
On my next visit I will visit the restaurant.

Mandarin Oriental is a discret hotel. The bar is very nice and the hotel is very close to all the hotspots of Miunich.

This hotel is exceptional. The levels of service here are the highest of anywhere in the world I’ve stayed. And I’ve stayed in plenty of 5/6 star hotels. Rooms and location are of course excellent but it’s the people and service you get from this hotel that make it truly remarkable.

Fantastic restaurant selection. Matsuhisa is one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Germany.

What one would expect of a hotel of this nature, it is a bit oldy worldy and a bit stuffy, still a nice hotel though. Big renovations and expansion planned here in the coming years! There is a good bar in the did with a little/middle pool with a great view over Munich, particularly the Altstadt and Downtown area. The tower section of the hotel has nice rooms with a view.

We had a stellar stay. The check in was seamless and staff helpful. The minibar is all included with your room cost which is a nice perk. Also loved the beautiful flower arrangement and welcome treats. The roof pool is lovely and as we were taking a dip, the bartender brought us delicious refreshments. Even if you do not feel like swimming, go up to check out that view! The room was spacious and lovely. Breakfast was tasty, but my advice is to go early to avoid the crowds and for the best service. We reserved the Oktoberfest package and it was so much fun! They drove us in an adorable vintage bus and our guide was incredibly helpful and interesting. We met really nice people at our table. I loved our stay and had a wonderful time.

We had the most amazing toilet experience on the 6th floor. We will return just for the toilet experience. Thank you for the gentle, soothing, massaging, rinsing toilet extravaganza.

Awesome view of Munich from above but the drinks are magnificently overpriced.

Stopped by for a quick 2nd breakfast — all I wanted was pancakes with coffee. All I got there was a nightmare. First pancake they served was raw — their second try was a single pancake not even half the size (order it as my main breakfast dish! ) and they'd "recycled" berry decoration from the first pancake on it (not a very appetizing appearance) The blueberry pancake contained so much baking soda it made me feel sick for hours and left a dominant after taste. They don't serve any extra amenities like toppings or fruits. Coffee was very bitter. I was the only guest in the room and Chef from open show kitchen burped so loud I heard it loud and clearly on the opposite of the room A blueberry cake with maple sirup, an orange juice, a coffee — 30 Euro. I am used to get more value regarding quality and variation for the price — especially at mandarin oriental. Decided better not to stay the night there — far below Mandarin Oriental standard but service staff was very friendly.

Good bar. Expensive drinks. If you're staying in the hotel, it makes no sense for you to go there provided that there are many other ones around.

I will never set foot in a hotel where the Christmas spirit is celebrated trimming a fir with fur parts of living beings killed in the name of a shameful and anachronistic market
This shows the importance of the word "respect" here.

During my travel agency time I was able to visit several MOs worldwide and enjoy the hospitality, I always found the service very attentive.
Hanging coloured dead animals on a Christmas tree can be described as thoughtless at best — creepy and cruel it is probably more likely to hit.
Mo MUC should really come up with something here and make a mark…

I am shocked by the tree! You want to celebrate Christmas? A feast of love? Do you even believe in God? Many animals had to die cruelly for this! These animals have just as much feelings as humans. There is a personality behind every animal! Would you like that if you were to be pulled off your skin in full consciousness? Please never do such a tree again and remove it immediately!

Unfortunately, the service has declined in recent years. You have to be now seemingly celebrity to get a table on the rooftop terrace.

We have been in the bar 31: very nice bar with excellent cocktails, in addition a attentive and kind service
We were also in the Matsuhisa. The food was very good and the service attentive.
We not liked the volume level in the restaurant and the way to make the two tables. There is definitely no privacy, such as at the restaurant. This is a no go for a star place m. M. N.!

Splurge and treat yourself in one of the greatest feel good hotel. Prepare to feel pampered just by sitting in the lobby.

Had dinner at Nobu restaurant. The food is excellent. Great evening.

Way to expensive for the bad Service this Hotel is offering. The Location is allright but the people working there are a mess. Not helping at all and it seems like nobody could speak russian or chinese. EMBARASSING for a Jardine Matheson Hotel. Never again. Kempinski or Bayerischer Hof is the joice in Munich if you can afford it.

In that hotel was my idol.

The Mandarin Oriental hotel in Munich was absolutely lovely. Our room was quite expensive, but I believe it was worth the price as the hotel was so beautiful, the internet was faster than any other hotel I've ever stayed in, and the breakfast we were served each morning was delicious. The location of the hotel is very good, as you are within walking distance of many of the main sites including the main square and Residenz. Staff is very discreet, at the same time very friendly and helpfull.
