It was very nice. The staff were very helpful and the room had a lot of space.

We stayed in this Hotel over the Weekend and were very pleased. You will be greeted very nicely with a Welcome Drink. The Room was very nice and especially the Breakfast Buffet we liked very much! All in all, nothing where you could have complained.

Very nice Hotel, especially the impressive Dining Room. Super nice Staff, 24h Cast at the Front desk. Room slightly old-fashioned, but not bad. Everything works as it should. Top!

We were on the first 4.18 on the 2nd 4.18 in the hotel Culm the room was very clean and tidy dinner was terrific breakfast was super tasty the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location opposite the train station and not far to the ships is great. You hear absolutely nothing through the windows.

Overall clean but very old fashioned hotel. Unfortunately very rude and unkulantes staff. Be careful when checking out! For example, 2x more breakfast was debited than taken at 17 euros (which is not worth the breakfast by the way) double rip off… but maybe it was a mistake:)

Great location, dated rooms with gold fixtures but sufficient, nice staff and good breakfast. Other reviews speak of a makeover but it's not throughout. Needs a safe interior place for bikes. Overnight city parking nearby is additional 20 euros. Nice restaurant — hotel has lots of potential if it were updated. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in this day in age.

We stayed at Hotel Halm in June 2017. The hotel has recently had a complete make-over and was very, very nicely decorated. Our room was spacious and elegant. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is in a great location across from the train station and around the corner from the main pedestrian shopping and tourist area. After traveling for one month across Europe, and paying over 200 euro per night for modest rooms, Hotel Halm was by far the best value we experienced. Highest recommendation.

Beware of beautiful facades… small and expensive room. Overlooking a noisy street. Noisy Noisy breakfast room and Frustuck paying and expensive…

Poor quality of Wi-Fi. Too many noises from the street.

We had a great stay at Hotel Halm. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to enjoy their breakfasts but did get a corner room, which was great. The clock tower was right outside our window and we had a beautiful view over the lake. Every morning the sun would rise over the lake and shine directly into our room. The hotel is very conveniently located as it is near the station and the old down. Everything is within a few minutes walking distance. The hotel is spacious and the staff are very friendly. We will be coming back to Konstanz again in future and will definitely be staying at the Hotel Halm when we do.

I stayed at hotel halm for three nights for a local wedding I was attending. The hotel was nice. Breakfast was over priced. The worst part of the hotel was the service. I asked to purchase a cup of decaf coffee this morning and the manager that was working actually refused to get me a cup of coffee. She instructed me to go to McDonald's and said "my kitchen is busy". I was unaware of how much effort it took away from the kitchen to poor pre made coffee into a cup and find it rather rude my simple request was turned down. Very poor service.

A very nice hotel! perfect position, good service. Breakfast non included and very expensive.

Absolute perfection. I arrived on a Thursday with our dog, and felt very welcome. Hubby joined us the next day, and we had such a lovely time that we booked a suite for the third night. I stayed in three different rooms, and my favorite was room 220, looking out at the train station. It was quite large, and the bathroom has a soaking tub! Room service from the hotel restaurant was prompt and served fabulous food and wine. The hotel is full of old-world charm. It is not advertised as a modern hotel! The front desk staff was always friendly and warm, and spoke excellent English. You will see the lovely entry as soon as you exit the train station, but you will not hear the noise of the trains from inside! The shopping mall is just two blocks away, and the old city of Konstanz is directly behind the hotel.

Top location. Old building with a beautiful interior. Especially the Moorish room is a feast for the eyes.
The rooms are good size, could be restored but again.
Food and service are 1A.

Location Central directly at the train station and the port, yet relatively quiet. Rooms slightly breakfast lived off very good and plentiful.
Price level increased more.

So far my reservation process and the customer service is excellent.

We have us felt very comfortable in the Hotel Halm. A beautifully quiet room we had and the Service was top. We would love to come back to the lake of Constance.

Really nice steak restaurant attached to a hotel — restaurant is Ignaz — tenderloin is excellent.

The offer on the menu is very extensive — and varied.
The foods selected by us earn four stars.
Only with the drinks we have annoyed us in hindsight very, because we have a bottle of wine (27, 50 EUR, 0, 75 l) ordered on the assumption, that which is less expensive than open jars. After that, we saw that a glass (0.2 l) cost only 5, 50 EUR, which grossed is actually just EUR 21 for a bottle. You could call it actually usury.
In so far the initially very good impression was marred and is a star in the our assessment.
