Too much money for such a bad Hotel! Almost 300 euros we paid for two nights, but we were allowed to sleep in an ancient room. The pictures on the Internet are not to be compared with reality. Absolutely disappointing. Saturday morning at 7 a. M. Have started any construction work on the Hotel and the sleep over was. After we had already paid ca 300 (without Breakfast) were again 29 Euro for a night! The dog and the tax is calculated! …
The Spa area is not worth mentioning! Absolutely disappointed that we paid so much money for such a waste, our vacation was over! Not even a star, has earned the Hotel!

Cmq the price is definitely not cheap.

The hotel is well-positioned from the reception and breakfast. But for a 4-star hotel, the rooms are a disaster. No climate, no small fridge it looks like my grandma would live in the room. Everything came old and down. No feedback on my complaint to date. Why it's two stars and not one is the view of the free parking and breakfast. Unfortunately, we (the hotel and I) never see each other again.

Restaurant, facilities and room where great.

Single room booked. Bath uralt. Room 100 next to meeting rooms and exit door. Ashtray or smoking area next to the room window. The meeting lasted until 5 p. M. It was loud and smoke always came through the window.
Dishes from the afternoon coffee of the conference (served at 4 p. M. ) was cleared at 10 p. M. Extremely loud again. Image disturbances at the TV Hotel do not seem to be fully booked. Price performance just isn't right. Luckily, only one night.

In the pictures very modern rooms. Unfortunately, it does not look like this in reality. Small balconies, small rooms.
The service was not good. There was no crockery at breakfast, and at 9 o'clock (official breakfast time is until 10 o'clock) everything was empty and you got nothing but a bun and jam.

The Rooms, the Complex, the Spa Were very clean. At least that has made the Appearance to the very end. When we had to gap the removal sofa on The Day Of departure, we were a bit disgusted.
Breakfast was not rich enough for a 4 star house. Except for breakfast Service Staff, staff were unkind to outrageous. When Checking in, we were left to fend for key Output on ourselves with our heavy Suitcases. (We are only Women traveling)
The Reception was not allowed to be asked because one was only handled and even got pampy Answers when Asked For further. We will no longer book the Hotel.

Gastronomy with breakfast, dinner and drinks good. Hotel for 4 stars comparatively inexpensive. Wellness area neat. Service partly very good, partly rather average. Some rooms are years old. Tip: When booking one of the renovated rooms, choose one of the renovated rooms.

We feel very comfortable during our short break at the hotel. Best Wi-Fi in a long time and great breakfast. Water in the swimming pool could be warmer and I would like to see a not so crazy mattress for the next time:-) But the rest is top.

The restaurant is first class, but at least 4 stars! THAT staff top super friendly but the rooms do not go through the mattresses and the bathroom a dark cave. Our complaint at the reception was the mattresses all new last year and that is just the case now. I can't understand where 4stars have been classified there, at 138 euros per night that's a very bad price performance ratio that even the nice breakfast doesn't make up for. We were already open in the Schmelmer Hof but probably for the last time.

Nice Hotel, Nice Spa, I like it.

Price-Performance OK. Staff friendly and attentive. Pleasant that one can walk from the sauna over the indoor pool to the garden for sunbathing. Room and bathroom a little small. In the basement there is a dance hall. Breakfast absolutely OK just like the restaurant for dinner. Great idea is that in the Wellbessbereich there are so-called "nibble in whose pelvis one can hang his feet. 20 min cost 15 EUR. Gladly again.

Excellent ambiance, excellent service and a very nice staff on all levels. The rooms are clean, bright and offer ample space. The kitchen cooks at the highest level. What is also highly recommended is the great spa area. We'll be back here for sure. Thanks for the great stay at Easter in your home!

Excellent restaurant and wonderful hotel. For the fourth time guest in this House and I simply do not find any criticisms. Rooms, staff just everything great.

Were only one day there, food was delicious and also the ambience was very nice.
The pool was ok, the sauna area rather messy and a renovation would do well, the premises of the spa area (massages etc. ) I couldn't judge.
You can't expect much from the rooms, because they are likely to be renovated gradually, the only major shortcoming was the monkey heat in the rooms!

Nice hotel with very tasty food! Unfortunately it is very windy built and I have often run away from the wellness area is also great and the staff very friendly! In our room, however, there were no clothes hooks to hang the wet bathrobes!

We were a group of 5 women (between 29 and 37 years old) and stayed for 2 nights at the Schmelmer Hof. The food was great and also the massages in the spa are very effective and positive to lift! Also the facial treatments, the ladies know what they are doing! The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Happy to be back!

We felt very comfortable in the Schmelmer Hof. The staff is very friendly. In the spa area we were able to relax and the choice at breakfast was plentiful. In the cozy café we enjoyed the homemade cake. We would book this hotel again at any time. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. In 40 minutes you can take the bus in Rosenheim or in 10 minutes at the train station bad Aibling.

The wellness in the hotel was very nice, as well as the restaurant and the hotel istelf, with very friendly staff. Getting to the rooms was a bit complicated, with lots of little stairs and long hallways. It felt like we were in the service area of the place. That would be my only real complain, as it somewhat affects the overall experience.

Small rooms, bathroom very small, no deposit in the bathroom, no safe in the room, in the hotel everything very winding. The hotel selection was based on good reviews in the internet, and if the hotel didn't have some serious technical problems, it would have been a pleasant place to stay. While the hotel, sauna, and restaurant were nice, the hotel room was "less nice". First, there was no hot water in not only our room, but all the rooms in the same block and in the sauna. Since there was no hot water, the radiators also appeared not to work. With night-time temperatures below zero in November, this made for a rather chilled room. Second, there was a high pitched sound that caused a serious migraine headache in the corridor that could be heard in the room, starting at 7pm. I would post a video of the sound if I could — it was recorded and played back to the hotel staff. The hotel staff then confirmed that there was a loud high-pitched sound, but stated that since they could not figure out the source, that they were consequently not responsible. In the end, we had to leave at 9:30pm since sleep was impossible and the sound was causing severe inner-ear pain. This is the first time in thirty years of extensive worldwide travel that I was forced to leave a hotel due to their technical problems and subsequent response — I have traveled and stayed in almost every major city in Asia, the Siberian steppe, remote mountainous regions in China, scorpion infested jungles in Thailand, etc.

Day 1 — Badhoevedorp to Bad Aibling. Schmelmerh Hof Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We only stayed 14 hours, (slept for nine-and-1/2 of them) after a long travel day from The Netherlands! However, I must say that the Hotel and the area surrounding it from the small glimpse I saw was awesome! Super clean rooms, great water pressure from the shower (very important), nice dinner and good breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer. Returning one day in the future is always an option.

A lovely hotel which I visited for a professional event. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Great place to stay. The town is beautiful and all the people that live there are so helpful. The Hotel Spa and dinning are all located under that same roof and you have access to all. The hotel has a very distinct looks to it, very, German charm. The hotel is a little old but very well kept. Most of the staff speak English to some extent and if they cant they are very good at hand signals sand finding someone that can talk English. The breakfast is very traditional and hardy. Fresh cheese and meat and hard and soft boiled eggs, bread and spreads for miles all kinds and all very tasty. The Spa area is very relaxing and if you are on a adults only vacation this is a must. They have heated pool, massage area, Yoga area, just a sit down and relax lounge, sauna and drop pool all very well kept and clean and not to crowded most of the areas only had one other person in them. Though out the hotel there are glasses and fresh water lemon and mint. A great place to stay and relax. A must if you are traveling outside of the major cities.

In my opinion only a 4 star due to Sky (not) and the Spa / swimming Pool works. — No Minibar

Good news: the staff is friendly, everything is clean and food is actually good. However, given that most of the rooms are from the 1980s and have not seen any refurbishment since the entire joint is completely overpriced, even if you only pay a special corporate rate.

The Schmelmer Hof has been extended repeatedly and had probably certain construction conditions, an elevator to the second floor in the area of the room 900 missing in the, I guess time, annex.
Should be pointed out maybe in the booking / enquiry. For us not tragic but for people with disabilities the ability to walk, that can be a "stumbling block".
The rooms were what delighted before 15: 00 finish. Put the luggage in the room and the size is sufficient for two people. The shelves in the bathroom are not lush and in summer you can turn off something on the radiator in the bathroom. As seen — ok.
But in all the rooms we had booked a balcony was.

Since we had booked applications at the Spa, the spa area was explored. The expectations were more than fulfilled. Generous, enough chairs around the swimming pool, sauna diversity, clean, maintained. The pool is large enough. As a very small flaw — when standing in front of the swimming pool, the left side is a bit dark and could be made lighter in my view. If the weather permits it you can relax by the pool provided loungers in the outdoor. Albinger Moor wrap and massage, or back massage and freshness kick are fully recommended. The staff, as we have seen, know when is time for Small Talk and when 'Silence' is appropriate.

I could cuisine three times, twice in the evenings, once for breakfast. Here the Schmelmer Hof is clearly above average.
Noticed me yet, that the mattress is very soft. Because this otherwise like everyone, only to be indicated, no score.

Rooms too small and too dark. Housed in the basement. Also, the showers were modern times in the 80ies.
On demand to umverlegung we were very unfriendly made off with the words 'Aren't you glad we save €5 after all'. Thank you, not to be recommended.

Very nice hotel with a cosy environment. Wellness area is big and clean, very comfortable to use.

The reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean water. Every day the room was cleaned (if you wanted to). The bathing area was a bit small, but sufficient. The additional service that we get are very super. The breakfast was ample. For €3 you can get get this room.
The food in the restaurant was good and the price was reasonable. We got a glass of sparkling wine as the attention to our anniversary. Also here, the staff is very friendly and obliging.
But I found it a bit cold, in the aisles as well as at the restaurant. But all in all it was very nice and I would recommend it even further back.

A disaster for 4 stars.
Pro: the food the cleanliness of the rooms.
Contra: the room is very outdated and tiny, at least a more modern room is advertised. Also no air conditioning and no minibar. Was very "pleasant" at 30 degrees outside temperature. The elevator is being renovated. The whirlpool is broken. The sauna area could be used until 11 p. M. But had already cooled to 50 degrees by 9 p. M. The cold cooling tank was empty. There was no supervision in the sauna area, so teenagers in street clothes could smoke a cigarette by the pool. Disgusting! In addition, incompetence is very important to the employees. In the restaurant, people were confused every day. The food of the guests has been constantly confused. The drinks were also always miscalculated. Our first meal was a 5-course meal that lasted just under 4 hours. By sitting in isolation, we had simply been forgotten. Well, at least they tried to conceal the inadequacy with kindness. At the reception we were given a false information about our booking. We were told we included HP. Which turned out to be untrue. Once we used the dinner because of the wrong info, which we had to pay afterwards. Out of goodwill, we had been given 14 € with a total amount of 56 € without drinks. At the checkout, however, we were charged the HP twice, even though we were out for the second time. There was no excuse for the settlement, but referred to the doofe system. Criticism was not to be accepted.

The Schmelmer Hof, we come always again very gladly. Thank you for the nice stay on the whole extremely friendly and courteous staff! The entire Hotel incl. The Spa area is a feast for the eyes. Special requests are easily fulfilled. We recommend this Hotel for years.

The Candle light dinner was excellent, we were very friendly served and the ambience very nice. We will come back, because of the Wellness area can also no wish unfulfilled.
