We had a wonderful stay at Jagerhaus. Clean, spacious, accommodating. Breakfasts and dinners are the best we've had during our travels in the Black Forest. The sauna is HOT and a dive in the freezing water of the pool topped it off. Can't wait to come back for Christmas. Thank you, Ava!

Very nicy restaurant, family driven. Very good food, medium price level. It is good if you make reservation in advance. I can only recommend this house in Sankt Peter. Machine want me to write more… if weather is nice you can have your table outside.

Wonderful place, we stayed several nights, used their sauna, and ate breakfast and supper there. Staff is wonderful and attentive. Place is spotless and well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and ample. We enjoyed hiking and traveling around the area.

Chic and comfortable rooms. Beautiful and well-equipped wellness area with 2 sauns and 1 steam bath. To cool off, a small natural pool with adjoining lying area. Perfect for relaxing, away from the mainstream!

Lovely restaurant, great local Schwartzwald food and friendly staff. Loved the great salad buffet included with all mains and the great local Grantee beer! Highly recommended!

The food was good, hot and freshly cooked for us, not a taste highlight, but still delicious. We had to wait for something, but it wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the young waitress made a haphazard impression on us, we would have probably drunk more, but at some point we simply lost the desire to ask for something all the time.

We are just coming out of the Jägerhaus, We liked it as always. Good cuisine, good service, nice service.

Cozy, quiet terrace. Very tasty cake. (Selection of cakes was limited, but the quality was convincing) Hot cuisine is available from 6 pm.

Interested in good home cooked meals… this is the place to be. Wild meat like Boar etc cooked with german spices not just any spices but like your grandma spices… finger licking good. But not KFC.

We found this hotel by chance. We were passing and stopped to look at the St Peter village and monastery. The room was spacious and clean. We would have like a kettle and coffee facilities. The food was excellent and we eat far too much. We were going to stay another night however the restaurant was closed so we moved on. We would definitely rebook when back in the area.

We have had wonderful 9 days in this hotel in June 2015; It has tuned everything: quiet location, very nice room, great breakfast buffet and restaurant, wellness area… is a class of its own and of course not to forget, a very warm family, always nice and helpful. We have very much enjoyed and come back happy.

Had a short break in the lodge and can only say it again at any time. Very friendly staff as well the Besitzer. Sehr clean, great breakfast buffet and delicious Essen. Wir certainly come again.

We usually stay in the lower Glottertal village. When we decided to book, all rooms there were already taken, so we searched around and we found Jägerhaus in Sankt Peter. It looked good in TripAdvisor, so we decided to book. And it turned out to be a good choice. The rooms are spacious, the surroundings very pleasant and the staff (a family run business) very friendly. A good reason to come back!

I've been for a few days with you in October. That was super!
Last weekend I had to go back to Kirchzarten, Glotter, St. Peter, etc.
Unfortunately had Annual closing at this time and I had to go to another hotel nearby.
Same price range, but by far not as good. It was all better for you in the hotel,
the bed, the shower, the room as a whole.
The breakfast was not to compare,
It was so good for you that you could eat enough without realizing it until the afternoon
It will be there next time in 8 weeks, you have hopefully no annual closing, so that I can book with you again.
I would be happy.

A very nice family hotel with very good food, friendly staff and a beautiful new sauna landscape. We were guest three times and looking forward to our next visit.

A welcoming family run hotel with clean rooms. It is close to the village so you can walk down for a wander about. (We didn't find it very easily but in a small village it was easy to get directions. ) The waiting staff wear Black Forest national costume which is an attractive touch. Our room had access to a balcony but be aware that the balconies are shared by the various rooms which open on to them — otherwise you can find yourself taking other guests who had arrived earlier by surprise as you wander around your territory!
